I've heard people say this Joker is out of character and I don't know how they reached that conclusion. He's causing random chaos for laughs and money to fund more chaos. Just because he isn't killing anyone doesn't mean he's out of character. Joker is chaos. That doesn't mean that he has to kill to drive the world batty.
@@richardabia9735 huh? Got to agree to disagree on that with Leto. Comparing Romero to him is not fair to Romero, who is a perfect silver age Joker. Anyone who says he's ooc for Joker probably only knows of Ledger Joker or the edgier comic versions, but little else. No one with a wide sample of Joker content spanning the history of the character would say that. But about Leto? Eh not so much. In theory, aspects of his take should have worked, but the end result was off. He tried too hard, and personally I don't think Leto is a good casting for Joker regardless. No clips I've seen of him really hit the mark, so its not a matter of limited screentime or better script, he's simply unsuitable imo. He's too dainty faced for Joker as well, to pull off the slick permawhite look - which I would love to see done well since I like the classic, immaculately dressed Joker best, but Leto does not have the face for it.
This is probably where they got the idea of trashing the Fluglelem museum in Batman 89 when Jack Nicholson played the Joker. Just like taking the story of the Penguin running for mayor in 66 and then having the Penguin run for mayor in Batman Returns.
Cubans are one of the greatest practical jokers in the world...it was soooo fitting and they made the best choice in Cesar Romero to be the Joker. The best casting ever.
There is another episode of the 1966 Batman series where the Joker goes into an art gallery with squirt guns full of paint that he shoots all of the paintings with.
Truly the most diabolical Joker. I mean sure other Jokers have Murdered and tortured many. But...destroying a priceless antique!! Truly a dastardly monster.
I always booed The Joker(WC Whiteface)when I first saw the show. He seemed to have Batman in more deadier traps than the other villians (electric chair, meteorite, Robin in the clam, getting Bruce Wayne to crush Robin with a comic strip press. As I grew up I got to appreciate Cesar's talents before and after Batman.
I couldn't have imagined anyone else but Cesar Romero as The Joker at the time. He was completely insane, and yet still cunning enough to be a threat to Gotham City. RIP Cesar Romero.
CLEAR THE TABLE! how dare youtube remove these classic clips from the greatest joker of them all! luckily i remember every line from every scene but still this is a sad day for fans of the show. this ones for you cesar, wooooo hahahahahah
That table was 2 days away from retirement.
Cripples Barbara Gordon = Eek!
Kills Jason Todd = Dude, that's nasty!
Kills Sarah Gordon = OMG!!!
Smashes a table = SUPREME EVIL.
"Youre not losing a table, youre gaining a MASTERPIECE!!"
That diabolical fiend!!
Smashing a table without a moments thought!
Who knows what evil deeds he will perform next...

Exactly! Like Jared Leto's joker , sometimes people don't get the random , weird , dark madness of the joker !!!

A scene where Joker shows his insanity in 1966.
this is literally what modern "artists" are selling millions in modern galleries.

This Joker has always been a favorite of mine!
This must be where they got the idea for Jack Nicholson's version of the Joker - destroying art in the museum.

@@c0l1n_m45 I vaguely remember that. There have been some good Jokers, but Cesar Romaro will always be my favorite.
Best Joker!

I'm just imagineing that it's just a normal table and they're just trying to make the joker think he's doing evil so he doesn't do any actual evil
that "priceless antique" looks a lot like a desk I got from IKEA recently.
:D~
The Number 1 Joker the others that played the Joker are also great but Romero's Joker is IMO the best 👏👏
Now that's what I call...ANARCHY!!
Joker: the original Banksy.

"oHohOhOhoHo biutifal biuUuuTifaL"
- the legend himself cesar romero
What was seen as insane back then is now mainstream.
THAT FIEND!
You mean *"masterpieces".*
That dastardly fiend !!!
That paint spread itself across the table and dried very quick
Yes & where did the green & grey paint go? Lol
Caesar's performance had a wonderful impact on the other jokers!
That piece of firewood will keep me warm next winter.
Am I the only one this was recommended to in 2021
2022
2023 - Still laughing. 😅
No One:
The Joker: *Smashes a priceless table.*
The lady was happy though. She was pleased.

But Joker, that's a priceless table!
Not anymore!
WHEN WILL PEOPLE EVER LEARN TO STOP MISTREATING THINGS WITH FOUR LEGS?!?
Today’s Joker couldn’t do that without half the people in the room being dead!
That table went faster then jason todds mortality 😂
Where is his accent from ?
He is Italian, so...
@@ElBandito
No way. *Red Skull* was italian.
El Bandito Cesar Romero was Cuban.
He sounds kind of Irish in away ????🤔????
He was born in NJ folks...look it up
I can't believe the Joker did that
What kind of screwed up mind does the joker have???
Jack Nicholson is still my favo :p
fucking a!!
