Too bad. The good times end about 1 week after actually owning it. If I could start over, I'd learn to fall in love with a cheap car so I can keep having something to do and a new car to get excited about.
Warren Russo very similar story here!! I remember cleaning a 911 as a teenager, & thinking “one day...”. Fast forward 40 years, and many other cars, I finally bought my brand new 991.2 C2 2 years ago. I now have 100 000km on it and don’t regret my decision for a moment. So happy I managed it before coronavirus changed the World, as I am not sure I would be as brave now, to fork out such a large chunk of cash. I hope you are also enjoying your car too?! I did go rather mad on the options list...
@@guydavies3035 Same here.... After a bunch of fast Beamers and 2 Macan GTS I Bought my 2019 T in Feb 2020.... Just in time. I put 20K kilometers on it despite lock down. Enjoy every drive I take it. And also happy to get it just in time. I would never bought it while in coronacrisis and even letting some of my crew go....... Still feeling a bit embarred but at the other hand, they have social security and I don’t I worked my ass off and took the risks for over 20 years now.
The 911 is a lovely little car. One in navy blue would be good too, An entry level you say - by far Of those I see few. Just the right size, And when I heard the reviews, Ooh! The outcries, I could bomb along the roads while listening to all the news.
The Porsche doesn't need an introduction, which is true. But perhaps you do need to work on one because you really don't know how to pronounce "Porsche". I suggest you practice on saying it the proper way.
Thank you! I was just going top comment on the pronunciation thing. It's like a wine connoisseur mispronouncing the name of a famous vineyard. Shame on you Auto Trader. You should know better.
I've now looked at several of your videos It's great to see the quick tour but thus far there all in Europe, how about some in the USA so we your American viewer and drivers can get the feel for these beautiful functional cars.
The commentator is not very good. Not only can't he pronounce Porsche properly but he thinks the 911 only goes back a few decades. He exhibits a "firm grasp of the obvious" with many of his canned remarks. OK sour grapes from me but there are enough other professional reviews on UA-cam that we don't need this one.
Some unsolicited advice. The voice recording isn't very crisp, which immediately gave the video an armature feel. Too many cross dissolve/fade to black transitions. Color grading is off e.g, shot at 3.15 is particularly bad. Animations look a bit dated. Just trying to give constructive criticism.
Sorry, but the interior quality and center console are NOT 'top notch' as he says. The leather is cheap, as are the plastics and silver painted bits in the cabin. They just don't hold up as well as they should for what they are charging.
have never heard an owner complain of too many buttons in their Porche. If you don't like buttons, drive a Tesla
After four decades of wanting and saving for a 911, I've just ordered a new C2S!

"Even in this, the most basic 911" - That's the whole point, keep the car light and free of extra weight and cost.. (For me anyway)
The car in the video is my current car! I guess it was a press car before the previous owner had it...
The World's best Sports Car
The 991s are simply amazing cars
