I am not stupid man
Why do you heart your own comment
😂
Do more of these please!
@@yasacinarBecause he can.
never actually realised how funky some pop songs are
I think funk guitar just fits the beats the best
because these are funk songs, not pop. Except the Justin one
@@jacksampsonforeverMaroon 5 is funk?
@@jan_777 the band isn’t funk but the song is funk.
@@jacksampsonforever I’m pretty sure they’re pop songs with heavy funk influences
Alternate title: top 5 nile rogers licks🤣
exactly!
Or 5 good funk riffd
Or Eddie Hazel licks
Wasn't Nile playing on only two of these tracks?
@@GodfamZeta42069yes but there all very much his "thing"!
this is just nile rodgers’ discography
The man IS Funk.
Start with two Nile Rodgers riffs to subtly imply that none of these other riffs would exist without him
funk #49 has gotta be on my list.
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS
As a rhythm video... right hand is important to show...
yea lol
Thank you, i like your new way to teach guitar technique
wdym? tabs have been around for 100s of years
the very first one is such a great riff bro
Party in the USA is a pretty rad guitar riff too.
Naive by the kooks is also a really nice one
They are truly nice
back when Maroon 5 used to clap on 2 and 4 😎
i just revisited maroon 5 im in love with their old songs bro
You should make a video where you play very easy beginner songs like smells like teen spirit and smoke on the water
More like this!!!
I'm a metalhead by nature, but I do love myself some good funk
you keep this love
Those are some good ones but there are many best list out there..😮
Old maroon 5 was so good
This love is the most funkiest one and the best one, how about the bridge part from new light by john mayer?
2/5 by the hitmaker
You start to realize that a lot of the latest music nowadays is pretty funky
Bro, thank you so much for this, my wife will actually think I can play now 👍
get lucky is insanly fucking hard
I mean, they’re good but the best? Just cuz they have scratchy strings in between the notes?
I think he's strictly referring to funk guitar on pop songs here
Good job!
Awesome pls make more more of rhythm videos helps a lot thanks
James Valentine of Maroon 5 is an absolutely amazing guitarist who gets almost zero appreciation.
@Melonballz88 In the demos, he plays solos, and I believe he does in live concerts.
Also, plenty of songs with solos.
Tangled
The Sun
Harder To Breathe
Shiver
Sweetest Goodbye
Ragdoll
Adam Levine is surprisingly also an amazing guitarist. Listen to anything by Kara's Flowers and you'll see what I mean.
@@saultfry501 Doesn't Adam play the solo in Harder to Breathe? On the record, anyway?
@Troy Smith On the record, I'm not entirely sure. In the video, James plays it, but Adam may have played it on the record.
@Melonballz88 implying a guitarist has to solo in order to be amazing is one of the funniest things I’ve ever read
The bass line part synced with the distortion guitar on “This Love” is my favorite.
All 3 guitar parts on get lucky are funky af. If you have a buddy you can absolutely get away with learning two when playing live
Get Lucky is such a fantastic song. Everyone needs to check out the Get Lucky live performance at the Grammys with Pharrell, Daft Punk, Nile Rodgers, and Stevie Wonder. So epic
my fave version is the one where brats 2 and 4 are swapped
please help I’m stuck in the endless shorts loop, it’s impossible to just leave
missed rick roll opportunity
My favorite will always be neon by John Mayer. I learned all his songs when his first studio album came out, but that one took me an entire summer of constant practice to get down.
All My Loving, Pinball Wizard, Saturday Night’s Alright for Fighting, Smells Like Teen Spirit, Fallen Angel
yes LE FREAKK!
get lucky and treasure go insanely hard
Squonk by Genesis :)
what abt izzy stradlin??? sweet child o mine and rocket queen
All funk songs man
Your missing party in the USA
Hard times by paramore should be on here
Nice telecaster bro 🙌🏼
Jeez who said disco died lots a funk. Really made me pick up my guitar so I could Play some Pantera and remember there still is great music out there
Another very cool rhythm guitar song is Life is a Highway (Rascal Flatts version)
Not necessarily funk though
👍
Where’s party in the usa?
anna molly by incubus
Practice your traid inversions apparently
Nile the King
well done
I'm so glad Anakin Skywalker started playing guitar. He is a good teacher.
Ahhh, back when Maroon 5 weren’t pop sellouts.
I'd vouch for "Early in the Morning" (Gap Band) and "The Grooveline" (Heatwave) for a possible volume 2.
Float On - Modest Mouse
Every Beatles song with Rhythm guitar >>>
Say so by doja kat should be a staple as well
Murder on the dance floor - sophie bextor
Treasure was ripped off from breakbot- baby I’m yours. Look it up, they eventually gave them songwriting credits
Noticed how none of the hits are newer than 10 years?
And that Nile Rodgers play on two of those?
"five best guitar riffs within my very narrow personal taste"
Nile Rogers, anyone?
Made le freak look so easy to play, or maybe it's just me
I didn’t realize it siad pop songs, and was offended when I didn’t see any megadeth songs. Dave mustain’s rhythm section and the fact that he does it while singing is just godly
0:04
I think all guitarists need a little of this in their repertoire.
Id go so far as to say that if you’re a shred/metal guitarist and you find the rhythm of these riffs challenging, you need to rebalance your practice time. Just my two cents.
I like the Masters of Puppets riff for Rithm Guitar
Well that's pretty far away from pop
@@big_joe_8478 no doubt about, I still like it anyway hahahahaha
As always funk salvaging pop
oh yes one riff worse than the other
I was waiting for Free ride..? Or The funky rhythm part Hendrix did in the Watchtower solo..oh & Prince's song Sexuality had a killer funk strum riff & INXS had several doozies too.
Sultans of swing?
try to play some Gary Moore
So you concider only chicka chicka riffs to be good rythm work??
The tabs for Maroon 5 are wrong?
Great!!!How do you get that clean sounds? What effects???
I’m so glad rock your body was on there fuck yes
So, basically, a lot of palm muting. Got it!
I didn't heard 5 cool guitar riffs in this video
Queen - Cool Cat?🤔
Sing it back - Moloko.
Party In The USA
All My Loving by the Beatles ain't here... sad.
Excuse me man, what is your guitar model colour?
Was a good list until the last two
this is all Nile Rogers isn't it
as a metal head this video pains me
MJ called, hes bringing some friends
Ok
Party in the usa was the first guitar riff i learned hahahahah
These are the five best rhythm guitar riffs? No Arghoslent, no Death, no 3 Inches of Blood, no Necromantia, no Regurgitation? Okay…
The best, or just whatever you could think of?
that's a matter of opinion those are not in my top 25
Is it a coincidence that 2 are nile rogers? I think not
"Get Lucky" does not use the same strumming pattern on each bar.
Maroon 5 was a miss 😅
We’re they all written by Nile Rodgers?
guitar name?
I believe this is just your opinion. That should be part of your title.
So just be Nile rodgers basically 😂😂
Pero es que por 1500 con envío gratis es un ofertón.
Lots of Nile rogers I see
