I think if she’d have kept her legs closed that maybe Charles and Diana would’ve had a better chance at making it a go with their marriage . But Cowmilla just couldn’t give him up and Charles was the same way . But I feel like that if Cowmilla would’ve stayed away and told Charles NO then he would’ve . And maybe in time he could’ve loved Diana .
I think the commentator said it best: "...if Camilla and Charles were allowed to marry from the start, then Andrew Bowles and Diana Spenser would have been spared divorces" ... and could both be married to spouses who not only appreciated them, but they could have led a life of peace and quiet instead of upheaval, chaos and misery. Diana might also still be very much alive OR lived longer than she did.

When Diana confronted Camilla it was 1989 and Diana was having an affair with James Hewitt. She had been shagging him for 3 years. And before that she had an affair with her married Bodyguard Barry Mannake in 1985/86.
Camilla knew about Hewitt! Charles used to let Diana and Hewitt stay at Highrove with the boys!
These were important little details that Diana left out when she was regaling her story about confronting Camilla.

I can't believe how the Royal Family accepting & promoting Camillia through the years, a devious, calculating home breaker, but the sweet, vivacious, fun & energetic Princess Diana was put down by the Queen & family during her marriage to Charles. They were vicious to Diana & the emotional hurt she was going through with her husband cheating on her the whole time with Camillia, was considered "weak" by the Queen & family. People forget how cruel the Queen was to Diana, not making a tribute to Diana after she died for a couple of weeks. Until she was criticized by the British people, then she paid a tribute to her. Howecsoon we forget. It discusses me to see her called " Queen Consort. She doesn't deserve that title & she sure hasn't earned it.
the correct title for Diana was not Princess Diana ... it was Diana, Princess of Wales as she was married to the Prince of Wales ... Camilla is Princess of Wales but she does not use that title, she has several from which to choose & she will be Queen Camilla ...

What I think makes not a jot of difference to the way things are.
Can't stand her at any price or Charles. Both of them have hides as thick as rhinoceros skin. The whole concept of an over privileged family is distasteful when so many hard working people in UK are having to use food banks. Only two in that family I have any time for are Anne and Harry albeit for different reasons.
Sadly the Royal Family made so many lives miserable because of their silly rules. Had it not been for them Diana would probably have lived a obscure upper class life, raising children she could have cherished for a much longer time than she got to be with her beloved William and Harry.

They are a family that up until now has been filled with incest which produced generations of hemophilia and other maladies. Sometimes tradition can be a curse. The Queen has brought a lot of people misery because of her relentless rules. She made her sister miserable, she made her son miserable, at times she made her husband feel less than a man. Ultimately, a grown man, 13 years senior to a barely 19 year old girl, who was simply too young and inexperienced to have developed her own personal foundation as an adult person, and apparently believing in social myths that young girls do…married her “Prince Charming”, only to find herself married to Charles…he is the one responsible for the pain his young wife experienced, Parker-Bowles was simply his actual “wife”. Diana was his brood mare. She came from an Aristocratic background, but wasn’t prepared for the role she had been relegated to from the beginning with Charles. She wanted to be loved by her husband, whom she didn’t really know, or have much in common with as a basis to build an actual relationship upon. That being said, he broke any chance of the marriage succeeding with his Camilla relationship, and his own rather narcissistic sense of privilege and entitlement. He seems to be far more like his Hanoverian ancestors than as a poster child for the Windsors. Well he will be King. The Brits and the Commonwealth will just have to live with it.

The truth that most try to simply cover up but which can't be simply 'moved on from' is that the CHARACTER of Charles was fully revealed to the world, and that disgrace can never be fully erased, just as the adultery of Bill Clinton will never be erased. Who would ever trust a king who acted in the morally weak way he did - can we really believe he could be trusted to rule responsibly and fairly when he had such reckless attitude towards such an important role, and especially towards his own WIFE and children? He should have not married Diana but gone to his girlfriend and abdicated from any chance of becoming king. That would have at least been honest! Unfortunately there are very many people today who want to get whatever they 'feel entitled to' in this life, no matter who else they may harm or crush, or even unfortunately kill, in the process - and that, although we may not believe it, will eventually bring their downfall.
Very surprised and disappointed the Queen hasn't taken very needed steps to ensure the Crown will be secure. It seems to me the UK will be under threat of destruction once Charles takes the reins. I don’t believe Charles will be King. The Queen is favouring William. Concerning Andrew she met with William for an hour before she met with him snd Charles… she sought Williams advice over Charles, and has done so more than we realize.

I don’t believe the church wants Charles as the head of the church because of Camilla… they don’t believe in divorce and both of them have been divorced. The church wants someone stable like William. They want a stable example as head of the church that promotes their values… sadly that’s not Charles and Camilla.
I believe Diana’s accident was not an accident… there are those who didn’t want her involved with the kids when Charles became King.. her bodyguards would never have tolerated a drunk driver… sadly I believe her death was planned… they didn’t want her to marry into Dodi’s family… so I honestly don’t think Charles will ascend to the throne because of Camilla.. the Firm needs young blood like William to be able to survive the next generation…. Very cold and very planning you can still see in her crumbled face and has little respect for other woman. Almost touching an older Meghan, which I guess is where Charles and Harry as weak as they are, meet. She will never be forgotten as the married bit on the side working her own way into the Royal bed, where two did lay at one time. which also highlights Charles values, in agreeing to dump Diana by orders of the Queen and then have open house for this Camilla thing or effort at being a lady which very sadly for her she is not and far more just Charles's, as mental as he is, comfy blanket or Royal hot water bottle with benefits.

If she had done the decent thing by respecting the marriage between Diana and Charles, perhaps Diana would still be with us. Camilla is a selfish and destructive woman who indirectly contributed to princes William and Harry losing their mother when they were still children. As a result, the children of Diana's boys never had the chance to know their beautiful. loving and compassionate grandmother.
