Hi I got a ink eraser and I kut it to size so it's end will fit on the motors com and I hold it down on it and spin the rear wheels and it cleans them up nicely, They used to make s fiberglass com cleaner stick for the HO cars but I am not sure if they have them anymore. Hope this helps.
Couldn't agree more. I had these Corvettes back in the eighties, white & yellow. Liked them so much I repurchased both about 5 yrs. ago. Not only do they look great but they handle even better. Hard to believe they're over 40 yrs old, still one of my favorites, and still run like new. 👍

Nice score! I have been there in getting a parts car and finding out it is in really great shape and then end up fixing up two of them instead of just the one! LOL! It will be interesting to see any speed advantage in the different motor setups.
How do you clean the coms on the 440's. Are you taking it apart to do it?m Its hard to get a cue tip in there that's for sure

Hi I think the old versions of the 440 cars came with the wide gap arm. Have to see how she runs! Thanks
