Seeming they are all very close together if you payed attention to their relationships at the beginning they seem to be very close which it makes sense why there's lots of people there. Just pay attention before blabbing for your own insecurities.

i actually rly enjoy this movie, matt reeves who directed this, is a great filmmaker, he did the batman 2022, and two of the planet of the apes movies.

The thing is 10 cloverfield lane is not in the same universe as cloverfield. It was caused by some machine in another universe and that other universe is cloverfield paradox where they were running low on power so they had shepard particle accelerator to restore there power so there won’t be more power outages then after they shot the particle accelerator causing to leak monsters into there universe/world and that particle accelerator led to the events of 10 cloverfield lane and cloverfield the lore is honestly confusing but there is a direct sequel to the first movie cloverfield but no one knows when it will release or even in production after the writer strikes and the monsters name in clover, the community calls it clover but I’d suggest to watch the videos to learn about the lore if you want to know but I’d say watch all the 3 movies to watch some of the lore vids.

I think you may have missed it, but in one of the like flashback bits, you can actually see the meteor where the creature most likely came from land in the ocean. I think it’s the bit where they are on a Ferris wheel?

The Real question is why does no one talk about "Always" (1989) directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Richard Dreyfuss, Holly Hunter, John Goodman, and Audrey Hepburn in her last film appearance?
People only have so much space and so many shirts. I have a rotation of 15 hoodies (25) and 1 t-shirt for every day of the month. All my white undersjirts need replacing every few months. Got like 30 an all dingy. Im surprised if you tubers who aren't rich have an endless supply of clothing.
We all talked about this movie forever on sites that don't exist anymore before an after this originally came out. I had a huge love crush on lizzy caplan like hud. I relate.

There is deleted scene at the end of them walking away after the last bombing. The military saying it was destroyed on radio.
Other good found footage movies are Chronicle(2012) and Rec(2007).

You asked why this movie is named "Cloverfield".
The movie never explains that.
But in an interview, the director said that all military operations are given code names, and "Cloverfield" is the code name the military chose for their battle against this monster.
It kinda does though, it was the military “code” name for the event. Code designation “Cloverfield”
This film gets too little recognition and credit, probably because half the viewers can't handle shakeycam approach, which is unfortunate. I believe that this predated the Pacific Rim kaiju/giant monster resurgence that came in the early 2010s and the return of a "Mosterverse" with Godzilla and Kong. What I really like about this movie was the care that went into the marketing and promotional strategy, which was very Matrix-like, that focused on "websites" surrounding the company that supposedly found or awakened Clovey (Slusho!), and "social media accounts" of the characters in their day-to-day. "10 Cloverfield Lane" is a good addition to that universe, but the horrid "Cloverfield Paradox" was an empty and failed attempt to build on the lore. Maybe one day we'll get a decent follow-up, but I'm not holding my breath.

There are a LOT of movies no one talks about. There are TONS that never get Reactions. There are certain popular titles that always get mentioned or covered or reacted to.

At the very end of the movie when you see the footage taken on the Ferris wheel looking at the ocean, you can see the monster fall from the sky and into the water.
That's a tagruato satellite crashing not the monster. There's a loooot of lore around this.

To those who criticize those who say she talks too much during the movie, here's the thing: people who watch movie reactions do so because they love movies, and they want to share the love of certain movies with others. It's like showing a movie to a friend--you want to see how they respond to the funny parts, the sad parts, the scary parts, etc. When you are yammering constantly throughout a film, you cannot get immersed in the film, and you also miss key points and plotlines. Often, subtle things get missed. It's like showing a movie to someone and they spend a bunch of the time on their phone. You can't give an honest assessment of a movie when you talk through it nonstop.
Also, on a side note, her giving this 10 out of 10 illustrates why we get so many bad movies today. People are so distracted that they don't REALLY absorb movies anymore, and anything that just seems enjoyable is one of the Best Movies Ever. Not saying Cloverfield is a bad movie, but rating it like it's one of the best movies ever made without fully paying attention to it proves my point.
It's how so many people consume media and it is so sad. These movies are supoose to be storytelling and art, and I feel like people are slowly losing thier respect for it.
