    Lebron James won't even be top 5. And he'll never be better than Jordan. Jordan never lost 2 Finals. Jordan won 6 and was the MVP of all 6. Lebron will NEVER be better than Jordan or Russell. But he will go down as an all-time great player.

      ..so....LeBron could of won 3 in a row after skip said this if he showed up bs Dallas that next year ...funny how wrong he is..he also said the Seahawks wouldn't win in 2014 and said Joe flacco and Eli manning wouldn't win rings..the same season they won ..he's a funny guy

He acted like he'd already won 3 or 4 or 5 NBA titles. His arrogance was off the charts. Then he got his ass handed to him and looked like a complete dipshit in the 2011 Finals. "I was humbled". This is such a ridiculous conversation. Basketball is a TEAM game. Not just one player, but a team around him. Those Cleveland teams, the style that they played in the regualer season might have worked, however against the dregs of the league. Against the better defensive teams, it was doomed to fail. Looking back, I think we have to appreacite LeBron for even getting those teams that far and one NBA Finals. People need to stop acting like Jordan played with only scrubs.

  • @SpydaMonster
    @SpydaMonster 12 років тому

    that's true, but what's the point of being the heart and soul of a team if you don't want to be there? once lebron and wade agreed to team up, he was as good as gone. but he kept it a secret the whole time until the last moment, even though he insisted the cavs have the best chance of signing him. idk about you, but i don't like people messing with my head like that. i wouldn't be so critical the decision if he just handled it the right way.

  • @SpydaMonster
    @SpydaMonster 12 років тому

    it;s not smart because they were making secret plans to join forces while they were under contract. that shows a lack of dedication to their previous teams. you're giving pippen way too much credit. the bulls had other role players as well. and the addition of phil jackson made a much bigger difference for bulls' success. but this is different cuz pippen joining the bulls was management's decision,not jordan's. jordan wasn't begging him to come to chicago behind closed doors.

    LOL without Shaq, the only thing Lebron fans try to bring up, yet I thought Queen James was the Chosen One? traveled his ass all the way to Miami. Shaq and Kobe won because they didn't quit, they were a Dynasty. Lebron just a half-ass pre game show and can never hit the big shots. Took Kobe 13 yrs? while than that means he won 2 rings not in his prime. He won them with basketball intelligence, and killer instinct. Lebron doesn't have any of those, he's not even close to Kobes legacy.

    Back in 2010, it looked to these sports analysts like LeBron James did not have a killer instinct. As it turns out in 2012, he does have this instinct, he just didn't want to use it for Cleveland.
    It would have produced many basketball fans in Cleveland. Soccer promoters may want to claim Cleveland for themselves against basketball. Was LeBron bribed by soccer promoters? Who knows.

    i used to agree with but now i think skip does that on purpose so there would be an arguement in the show because there has to be an arguement.u know skips does it on purpose when he has something bad to say after lebron had 45 points in a critical game against boston or when he said something bad about lebron's triple double to win the finals.not even a real lebron hater like me would do that.

  • @AirRyan45
    @AirRyan45 12 років тому

    Due explain, I was completely pissed that he beat Boston (as I'm a Boston fan) but really how is he not strong and consistent fine tuned ect, He won it this year by changing his play style with his team, he won the League MVP, and Finals MVP against the scoring leader. I think he'll have some more rings under his belt, but being as good as Dr. J, Jordan, or some other greats, we'll just have to wait and see.

    bcus of the tight scheduling. Its ridiculous the fans won't accept it but even all the teams said everyone is on the same level playing field so NO EXCUSES, PERIOD! This season revealed what teams were really made of as they were either made to shine or they were broken by 2012! And for once we have a true champ wit sum integrity, no excessive to the point of distracting from the game dirty ass play or referee cheating as with San Antonio and the Lakers.

  • @Vblogs1
    @Vblogs1 12 років тому

    The first half of the season takes the toll? Isn't it the second half, as the playoffs approach? It really makes no difference, other than credit the champions further for winning. If OKC won, would you say there is an asterisk? Are you hating or legitimately think this season doesn't count? Imagine you have an exam, you could have three weeks to study or one day. Eh, what can you do? Lebron finally matured and owned a postseason. Congrats to your favorite player. And apparently he's also succeeding at discovering some new found humility, which I didn't think he had in him either. He even said he "played with hate" in 2010-11, which pretty much means he was an arrogant douchebag. It took that embarrassing ass-whipping in the 2011 Finals for Lebron to pull his head out of his ass. Now there may be no stopping him.

    also barkley was better than grant, kevin johnson better than armstrong,....porter better than paxson, duckworth better than cartwright...payton better than harper kemp better than rodman (in fact they should've done what they did back in 69 where lakers lost but west won finals MVP i think kemp was the best player in the finals) malone better than rodman stockton better than harper.

    if you know basketball you would know teams have to face opponents from their conference b4 getting to the finals who did the Bulls centers face in the east? ewing, shaq, mourning, mutumbo....6'4" maxwell was a great defender & many have said he would do a great job defending jordan...jason kidd 6'4" 38 yrs old & did a great job on kobe, wade & leborn last year so no point in saying maxwell is only 6'4"

    Idk about that, considering all of what could happen w/ the Knicks next year. Suppose Lin gets better as a PG, Olajuwon teaches Amare & Chandler everything they need to know to dominate the paint & Melo prepares himself for a championship because he is arguably the most clutch player in the league, w/ that killer instinct (I say 2nd to Kobe). Considering all of this, It's not hard to see him getting a ring next year @ all. The Knicks organization is setting up for all these things.

    what does that mean???? do you really think michael would have won those titles without pippen or rodman and all those hall of famers????or kobe without shaq or gasol or d-fish?????? seriously the cavs just sucked what is wrong about changing your team if they sucked????and even if it was that. It has been 2 years, that is waaaaay too much time so you can forget about the past and just focus on today......apreciate instead of critisizing

    The mavs were true definition of a team last year. You can say wat u want to but miami learned alot from them last year. This eat the heat are playing like a team and thats why their going to win. And okc is playing more like individuals. Its doesnt matter how much talent a squad has. If they dont play like a team their not going to win simple as that and your miami heat didnt do that last year like the mavs did. Anyway im gon give credit where credit is due and congrats to miami.

  • @marskeins
    @marskeins 12 років тому

    The heat had better talent than the mavs so i will agree with you on that. They didnt have the mental toughness like the mavs did. You can say wat u want to but every miami fan know that the mavs had a better team last year. If miami had the better talent and team last year they would of won. And if u seriously think miami has a better team than jordan u must be on something. None of these teams today can mess with the teams from the 90s, 80s etc.

  • @marskeins
    @marskeins 12 років тому

    Last year the mavs had the better overall team and thats why they won. The heat were nothing but individuals so dont disrespect my mavs and practically say the mavs got lucky last year. That being said the heat especially lebron have played out of this world good. They have learned alot from last year and im proud of them. I still wont like the heat that much but i will be happy for them when they win.

    my comment said he played good in the thunder series so far.. that game 1 4th quarter was still a bad quarter 4 him, when the star on the other team has 17 and takes over and he has 7.. ill admit game 2 and 3 were good for him, if he keeps it up i will give him his respect.. its not about can lebron do it, because he has stepped up a lot, its will he do it consistently when it really counts.. im by no means a heat fan but if the man wins his ring he gets my respect, which doesnt really matter

    how bout game 5 vs boston 2010.how about all the games in last years finals.how about two missed free throws to tie the game late vs indiana. how bout only scoring 4 points vs the thunder in the 4th quarter game 1. how about disappearing in the fourth quarter and fouling out vs boston in the first couple loses.. he has had clutch times and if he keeps playing good through out the thunder series he gets respect, but if he only shows up for 3 quarters and one of those not being the fourth then no

  • @Cardinalsarelame
    @Cardinalsarelame 12 років тому

    Because he didn't shoot the ball very much and he's not that good. He has still had a better career than Lebron, which is why he has a ring and a Finals MVP. Also why last year in the Finals, he showed up and Lebron didn't, and why he was in my opinion the best performer on the redeem team in the Olympics. Also, Boston is obviously paying more attention to Wade. It's gotta be easy to score when the other team is planning around stopping Wade.

    " If Lebron doesn't win a championship, I win. If he does win, I lose." this is the most stupidest comment i ever read....so lebron winning a ring is really going to affect your pathetic life?...my life will still be good if he does or doesn't win a ring...when the Bulls were winning in the 90's it didn't affect my life in any way i was just happy they won but my grades didn't go up or down bcuz of it....when they got eliminated this year it still didn't affect me

    Try "Lebron disappears in 4th quarter". LOTS of great reading there! LOL!
    I don't know what dictionary you use to get your definition of choking, but I use the "Official Lebron James Is An Arrogant Choking Douchebag Almanac" myself. In that edition, you can look up the word "choke" and there's that one closeup shot of Lebron's face where he looks like he's crying like a 5-year-old.

  • @imsljr420

    give the google link bcuz the google links i find talk about lebron being a better clutch performer than kobe & wade....
    & in the playoffs being more clutch than kobe...you're an idiot if you think lebron & the cavs "choked" in 07...do you even know what choking means? choking was what bron did last year where he was EXPECTED to win...it's not "choking" if you weren't going to win anyways.

    Lebron doesn't play "hero ball" because, to Lebron, being the Hero (the guy who makes the clutch shot to win the game at the end) means also taking the risk of being the Goat. Lebron doesn't have the balls to be that guy. He may have with the Cavs, but now he's content to let someone else- usually Wade- be the hero or goat. This is why he went to Miami in the first place. He couldn't handle the heat... so he went to the Heat. Isn't it ironic... don'cha think?

  • @777zippy777
    @777zippy777 12 років тому

    No, Lebron is not Kobe where he's going to average 23 shots per game in the NBA Finals. (Kobe's avg-per-game in the 2010 Finals). Lebron averaged 15 shots per game in last year's Finals. Lebron is much more content to pass the ball as if it were a hot potato because he's afraid to take that final clutch shot for whatever reason. We've seen it over and over again. Lebron will pass up a wide open shot in the clutch and pass it off to a teammate- preferably Wade, who doesn't have that fear.

  • @777zippy777
    @777zippy777 12 років тому

    Actually, not so much. 3-of-21 is shooting 25%. That's pretty horrid. But Lebron shot 3-of-11 (27%) in Game 4 last year and the Heat only lost by 3 points (86-83), not 25.
    Then there was Game 4 of the 2007 Finals where Lebron shot a very horrible 10-of-30 (33%) and the Cavs lost by ONE point.
    Or Game 1, 2007 Finals... Lebron shoots a truly-terrible 4-of-16 (25%) and the Cavs lost by 9 points. 9 points is a LONG ways away from 25.
    So much for your little theory there... :D

  • @777zippy777
    @777zippy777 12 років тому

    Let me go ahead and unremove that last comment of yours:
    "the celtics cant beat the heat lebron is getting his ring this year and the next year and the next year and the next year and the next year and the next year and stop as u can so thats more than kobe sorry ass"
    Now I needed to get all that translated into english, but I think I got the basic idea. So you're saying Lebron is going to win the next SIX NBA titles.
    LMAO!! And then you woke up...

  • @777zippy777
    @777zippy777 12 років тому

    No, an excuse can still be truth. Excuses aren't necessarily lies, they're just a convenient cop-out. Kind of like when Lebron fans say "Lebron never won in Cleveland because he never had any supporting cast". Now we know this to be largely and somewhat true, but it's still a convenient cop-out, i.e. an excuse.
    The Spurs or Thunder MIGHT be a big reason why the Heat don't win it this year, but believe me, there will be PLENTY of excuses from Lebron fanboys in addition to that.

  • @imsljr420
    @imsljr420 12 років тому

    ok lebron plays with 2 all stars (even though bosh is injured) but durant has it easier....melo has 2 all-stars as well yes they still count but they have no team chemistry..rose is the only real all-star but the Bulls play such great defense & rebound that it helps rose a lot...lebron doesn't have much help after wade bosh is ok but he needs to play like a Power Foward not a Flower Foward (he plays like a girl) anthony only gives them 3.7 rpg

  • @777zippy777
    @777zippy777 12 років тому

    I get that, I don't mind that he left Cleveland- his contract was up. But the way he went about it, plus the Heat rally, the NBA title boasting "not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4..." before they even played a game, the arrogant self-absorbed tweeting, the mocking of Nowitzki between choke games in the Finals, the coming-up-small in the Finals after all the arrogance, his "burger flipper" speech, etc etc... I used to root for the guy. Not any more. He's an arrogant douchebag.

  • @777zippy777
    @777zippy777 12 років тому

    Yes he is arguably the best player in the NBA. Well, in the regular season anyway. We've seen him have great performances in the postseason- just not when it REALLY counts. Example: last year's Finals when Wade injured his hip, that was Lebron's moment to shine and to step up and be The Man. Instead, he just disappeared.
    If Jordan "wasn't much" without Pippen, then Lebron hasn't been anything with OR without D-Wade.

  • @777zippy777
    @777zippy777 12 років тому

    That's fine to know you're good at what you do- and he definitely is- and be confident in yourself. Just know that when you go over the top with it and act like an arrogant douche, you better back that shit up with some championships, or you're gonna take a ton of shit- and he definitely has.
    Lebron isn't getting a ring this year I assure you. The Spurs will be just too much for the Heat. I've been watching the NBA long enough to see that coming a mile away.

    Die hard Laker fan here. MJ is greater, but Shaq never carried Kobe, Kobe pulled more than his own weight throughout the entire 3peat. It clearly was Shaq's team, but Kobe was no Pippin to Shaq. Kobe had the ball in his hands w/ 20 seconds left to win the game. Shaq was A1, Kobe A2. He was like a Tony Parker to Tim Duncan if anything. It was clearly Shaq's team, but Shaq could not have won without Kobe, just as much as Kobe couldn't win without Shaq, Magic without Kareem, or Bird without McHale.

    i'd put duncan ahead of all of those guys. tim's never played with multiple all time greats like russell did. seriously, those celtic teams were loaded. same with magic and kareem. they played with each other/other hall of famers. tims never played with a hall of famer/all time great. robinson was past it, sorry..
    if duncan played with a all time great he's have 6-8 rings..that simple. timmy will never get the credit he deserves, well maybe.lets hope he wins number 5 and the 4th nba finals mvp

  • @777zippy777

    Saying "Kobe is one or two players away" from another championship or two is like saying you were "one or two" cards away from that royal flush you were looking for. And saying Shaq needed Kobe more than Kobe needed Shaq is totally subjective and impossible to prove. Shaq won those 3 Finals MVPs, not Kobe. It is what it is. At the end of the day, it's about MVPs, championships and Finals MVPs.

    timmy will be 2nd to jordan. ahead of magic AND kareem. tim's never played with a super star the caliber of magic, pippen, kareem, james worthy, bird, mchale, parish,etc,etc...parker and manu are good, not all time great though. what tim has done has to be admired. such a humble/classy guy. GO SPURS GO!!!! =)

    Am I supposed to base it off what Lebron MIGHT do in the future? Nah. And none of those players you mentioned were nearly as entitled as Lebron obviously thinks he is. "Chosen-1" tattooed across his back... "KING" James... winning "not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5..." championships... When you're the only player in NBA history with 3 MVPs but 0 championships, you're gonna take a lot of shit, fair or not.
    Soon-to-be 9 seasons without a championship...

    how is it fair to say that LBJ is the most overrated player in playoffs history? he got to the finals with a cavs team that had as a 2nd scoring option drew gooden? we all knew the cavs that won like 62 wins with LeBron were going to suck the next year without him. This "analyst" skip always gives the same speech of batman and robin crap, he doesn't know much about bball. The Heat are playing great team basketball,that's all it matters. I really hope the MVP shuts his mouth forever this year.

    Of course. Jordan was in 6 finals . Won them all , and got MVP for all . But when arguing for how good someone is all time, saying he got the same amount of rings as the greatest , might make him better then some others. These two years can bump him up a few spots , or it could not . Its still fair to wait though.

  • @imsljr420
    @imsljr420 12 років тому

    but that won't mean anything if he ties jordan in rings bcuz the way jordan got his & the way kobe got his is different. jordan was always the best player on his team while kobe was only the best for the last 2, the 1st 3 he was the 2nd guy on the team...plus jordan accomplished much more than just rings.

    Well this WAS 2 yrs ago and after those ways he left the playoffs before this seemed to be right for a while... These same things were said about MJ during the first 7 yrs of his career until he changed his game up and became more of a team player and won everything else.. So Lebron had his down time so now he has 1 now will he win the rest??? We'll have to see....

    That's so true. Alot of idiots actually think 66 games was east for the Heat or any team to win a title this year. WRONG. Ask Rose,Howard and all of these other players injured due to this short season. I didn't hear anyone screaming about how the Spurs won theirs in 1999 when the season was shorten. Fact is this year was way more difficult than any 82 game season is.
