From the wiki.
Square Window is a promotional 3" CD EP by Squarepusher, distributed only with pre-orders of Ultravisitor from Warp Records' online store. The five songs on this EP were also included on the second disc of the Japanese version of Ultravisitor. (Fuck, I forgot to put that on my Ultravistor video.)

I was looking for "Square window" on youtube for my Pediatric clerkship, and found this :)
Lucky you !!!!
Have a nice time with this wonderful music!
The first track is one of the best piece of electronic music I’ve ever heard in my life. It’s a masterpiece.
The first track makes me cry, its so gorgeously sad

junge 10sachen oder was?
I think this EP has some of the best work he ever released. So good, right there in the middle of beautiful melodies and nasty chaos! So weird this was only a small promo and never got released. I think I got mine free with the Ultravisitor vinyl. I listened to this more often than Ultravisitor :D
just discovered this EP, im mind blown... first track on repeat for one hour straight :)
Siebe Janssen same!
wow this came with ultravisitor? i was never really sure about where it was published, but its probably both of my favorite works made by this genius in one place lol
Yep this is the essence of Squarepusher for me. Melodic and intricate.
@@Leo-mu8kn Late comment,, 1 year late, but I got a copy. It's one of those ultra tiny CD's, idk what you call them, but much smaller than a normal CD. Inside a tiny printed sleeve. I got mine inside the Ultravisitor vinyl too. There was probably a download or something also but I got my Ultravisitor second hand.
Thank you so much for uploading all those wonderfull ep i din't know yet.
Some huge squarepusher's fan
I can't feel blessed enough for this album! Thank you mr. Jenkinson
This is one of my favurite songs in the world, incredible. Squarepusher, brilliant!
Did not know this existed, thanks!
Got tthe cd, it’s super small, love it
bah c'est merveilleux quoi je sait pas quoi dire ....... les larmes aux yeux ma biche
Lovely. Never heard these tracks before.
Totally forgot about this EP. Nowhere to be found.
Look on Discogs, that's where I got mine :-)
Thanks for this!
abacus emotion
thank you
abacus 2 tom goes garage on us ,or more like his take on it ,deadly!!
Er. He already did with "My Red Hot Car" and "Do You Know Squarepusher" three years before this EP
@@kelpkelp5252 i wouldnt consider "my red hot car" and "do you know squarepusher" as garage tho
@@polska4968 He mentioned in interviews at the time that both tracks were influenced by garage. Admittedly, Do You Know Squarepusher was far ahead of anything else then and still sounds like future garage. Basically he was listening to a lot of garage at the time those older tracks came out.
this song its so good :D
Thanks
thx god
good tom
I would cut off my left hand to find out how he made Venus No.17
not to be mean but just try reconstructing it. Wouldn't necessarily be hard to do. Complex melody but not complex execution, as always with Square

hey guys this might be grabbing at straws but i think bleeding doughnut likes quaristice
Maybe the melodies are a bit too opaque for me. But nothing makes a memorable or lasting impression. It's very "ECM" of the IDM world. Stimulating, meticulously produced, innovative and challenging...
but maybe my short-term memory is fucked, cos I can't remember anything from this after I've listened to it.
this literally just sounds like an aphex twin album???
with their similar instrumentalization first two tracks remind of Aphex somehow but Venus no.17 has the breakbeat rythm that is typically Jenkinson for example
The name square window even sounds like an AFX alias - wonder if that was intentional
absolutely not. Listen to more music.
