Neal was just special. Iconic and revolutionary art with a heart of gold. His impact on the industry is understated today I think. His legacy should loom so large.
New a wealth of knowledge. I loved that while he signed a book and spoke to you, his wife was busy tallying up how much you owed and taking the cash. I never saw him talk money with the fans.
Thankfully I have all of those covers except the Lois and Jimmy and of course the very last magazine you showed! One of my favourite Neal Adams Superman covers is Action #419, with him streaking into the stratosphere from Metropolis, the epitome of up, up and away! More fun info from you Joe!
@@AnachronicComics -- They've announced that one and David Mazzuchelli's Batman Year One --- If the company survives that long. They're hanging by a thread over there I guess.
Wonderful list Joe! I'm glad you saved the All New #61 C-56 for last - truly a classic cover. I'd have to say, If you ever get Superman #317, don't read the interior as the actually comic book disappoints severely - that book might be my vote as the highest disappointment of a comic book story when comparing the cover ;-) A couple other Neal Adams Superman covers I really like are Superman 242 (two Supermans fighting over a city on fire), and DC 100pg #6, although that's a bit of a cheater as it's a Justice League Issue.

Agree. No doubt in my opinion.

Joe a great selection of Adams goodness! I too miss chatting with Adams at the Cons. He was always entertaining.

Glad you like them!
Wonderful upload Joe. Neal Adams is definitely within my top three.
Absolutely. Who are your other 2? Is CC Beck one of them?
Those are great covers! Fantastic list, Joe! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you. Appreciate your support as always.
Those are absolutely fantastic picks. Great history and info as always too Joe. A fantastic episode buddy. #keepitcasual #fullwatch #growtogether

Thanks Joe
Nice list Joe! 👍🏻 😊
Thank you Tina. There were so many good ones to choose from!
Neal will always be Deadman and Batman quintessential artist to me.
One of the greats!
Great list Joe. Action Comics #419 would've been on my top 10
Nice! It was on my list but I ran out of spots LOL

Many thanks. I was surprised I only had 2. I need to take my own advice and fill in the rest.
Superman 👊🏻 can’t ever go wrong with the Boy Scout
So true 😁
Neal Adams' work has been my favorite for over 4 decades now. Keep an eye out --- IDW is releasing an Artist Edition of his work mid-2024.
Good to know. There was another one or two issued back in the early 2000s that I wouldn’t mind owning but now I’ll wait for the IDW book.

Justice League is fine. I had a couple I was considering. I’ll check out that DC 100 cover.
Funny that this video came out today because Superman 233 just arrived.
Karma😁
@@AnachronicComics can you do a video on dc 27? Maybe that’ll magically arrive at my doorstep.
