Modded Axial Capra 4WS VS. G-Speed Chassis G-SHOT! [Class 2/3 10-Gate Competition Run Breakdowns]

- In this video, we compare to rigs that are quite similar in their components, while being very different in their composition! That’s right, we’re finally doing it-the ScumbagRC G-SHOT and High Noon Capra are going head to head out at Lil’ Moab!
Ever wonder what it would look like to run an Axial Capra up against its sort of ‘big brother,’ the G-Speed Chassis G-Shot? Wel, this week we’re going to find out! Of course, as always on this channel, there are some caveats to this competition… Firstly, Luke allowed me to use 4WS on the Capra-an option that he doesn’t have available to him on the G-shot. Also, I specifically tried to get Luke to run the course after a long day so he was a little tired… Sorry Luke, I needed the advantage! Either way, I had a blast testing out all of the modifications I’ve made to this Capra, and I’m super happy with how the build is coming along!

Thanks for the feedback! I certainly want to keep upping the quality, but I just want to make sure I do it in a way that doesn't stress me out of staying consistent. If I've learned anything about UA-cam, it's that you just gotta stay consistent!

Nice run! 👍 That 4ws really takes some time to master, though. It totally changes how weight is distributed and the suspension reacts but looks like you're getting there!

I didn’t hear you mention it but it looks like the Capra has brass portals as an upgrade as well. At least that’s what it looks like in the front but I could be wrong.
Ahh, you’re correct! They’re fairly minimal, but I do have brass portal weights up front on the Capra. Thanks for mentioning that! 🤙🏼

Gate 8 was hit by G-Shot, you can see it move when it goes flying through there. Arrow cone.

Weird how the final gate the narrower truck hit both cones on each side and the wider made it through easy peasy! 🤔

I personally like the footage from the GoPro more, but the price of the Insta360 Go2 is hard to beat for the quality. Certainly not an easy decision, and I'd recommend trying out both for yourself if you can!
