Taylor always wrote lyrics on her arm that inspired her. I believe that Taylor is the one who is the main creative genius behind her tour sets and her MVs. Dear John was about John Mayer. Long Live was written for her fans.
I love your genuine, joyful reactions! This was her 2nd tour, 3rd album, but the first and only album she wrote completely on her own, no co-writers or collabs. She won a ton of awards for her 2nd album, Fearless, and a lot of critics doubted that an 18 year old girl had really held her weight in those writing sessions, so the only way to prove them wrong was to write her next album alone, and she did. As for the creative genius behind the vignettes and set design, that's all Taylor. She plans the whole performance to match the image she had in her mind when she wrote each song. She was a theater kid and is a storyteller first and foremost, so she creates that complete experience for her fans, lyrically, musically, and visually. It's fun to see how much she's grown and how much has stayed the same. Always a performer, always giving her fans 110%.
i was so excited when you got the arm lyric right! she wrote a different lyric on her arm every night of this tour. the night that she wrote that lyric on her arm was the same night joe jonas came to see the show, so it was like the first time since they broke up in 2008 that she knew they were on good terms. it's also always been assumed that her choice to cover drops of jupiter that night was for him. and the next night, in the same city she covered good riddance by green day and had "for what it's worth, it was worth all the while" written on her arm, and then wrote the song "holy ground" about the experience of finally feeling at peace with the end of their relationship.
Taylor was 21 during this tour. If I’m not mistaken, during this tour is when she wrote All Too Well. She had her breakup with Jake and came into rehearsal absolutely crushed and sat down with her guitar with all of her people around her and just let the lyrics flow out. Luckily someone there recorded it so she could remember it later and that is how one of the most beloved songs came to be. (If I remembered that story correctly)
During this tour she wrote a different lyric on her arm every night, sometimes it was just a song she was into at the moment and other times it corresponded to what she was going through personally. It was always kinda fun as a fan to see what it would be every night of tour. If I remember right, Joe Jonas (her ex who she had a rather dramatic break up with) came to the show this night so I think the lyric choice was a nod to them being friendly again. She’s still friends with him and his wife now 😊
@@jasonloring im pretty sure she's in The Lorax! although there's not much singing involved, shed be perfect for like a modern disney princess or something

Thank you so much! I hoped my Taylor fans would enjoy a little treat lol!
Speak Now is iconic because it’s her only self written album. Some music critic publicly said she didn’t write her own songs so she created Speak Now!
Oh wow I didnt know that! Thats a cool tidbit! Thanks SL!
I can’t wait for Speak Now Taylor’s Version 💜 This is one of my favorite eras from my childhood
Hey Alys! Thanks!!!
@@jasonloring Of course! Loving the videos as always

It's almost criminal to do this Show in 15 Minutes. It's so good i don't even know where to cut anything.

There is no way you are getting out of a relationship with Taylor, without her having a hit single. Period.
@@jasonloring mary is correct about Joe Jonas attending the show- and this inspired Holy Ground on Red!
damn I wish they made a live action Tangled movie and Taylor could've been rapunzel - she wouldve been perfect
I could DEF see her in a kids movie, or at least some voiceover work!
