This is one my favorite performances by her. Its so deliberate from the stage plotting to the costumes, to the wadding in the water to the fact that this was a whole ass surprise to everybody and immediately she left the building cause she had to do a show in Europe 8 hours later. Kendrick wasn't originally in the plan to get in the water but in rehearsals he said it would be a better performance if he got in too. A moving and inspired performance. Folk can say what they want but people like her can't be denied. She used her platform flawlessly here to move a people. Shout out to two greats Beyonce And Kendrick Lamar.

Greatest live male R&B performance of all time IMO. He does so many things here with his voice that are so intricate and perfectly placed. The inflections, crowd control, breath control, vocal bridges..I cant even name all the things he compiled into this performance. This was a Master class of vocal techniques. If you know what you are hearing its incredible top of the top display of talent. The BEST. The way you ended the video was perfect.... there was nothing else needed to be done or said.
