@@rodneymohammed8969 Thanks for the answer and the problem that I had with my dodge grand caravan it was very low fuel, I thought it was the pump relay or the pump itself but i was lucky.
Replaced this relay today. Decided to remove the old relay by removing the relay cover and then cutting the relay leads with small wire cutter on the top side of the board. Removal of the remains and opening each hole with solder sucker went very smoothly (for me). Making a photo of the fuse and relay panel before hand, as was suggested, is an absolute must! Removing the plastic panel to expose the board was not easy. Thanks for the video
How did you get the two plastic covers off the TIPM ? I have the plastic cover off where the fuses go. Can't get the other cover off where it looks to have to plastic clips. I pushed them in and still can't pry get the cover off.
I used a 2 inch putty blade and a flat screw driver. I put the putty blade between two of the hold down slots to raise it and used the screw driver to help part it and when around to get the others apart.
No problem at all. I went to a tv computer repair shop and they gave me a old pc board and I practiced desoldering and soldering. I had my iron set around 650* and 700 * Make sure you hook the right wiring harness to the right slot on the TIPM. The guy at the tv shop said after I get it apart he would take it out and solder it for me if I had and issues. I got it done on my own thank god.
Thanks for your video, it saved me lots of money, although there was great difficulty disassembling the TIPM , I didn't realize that there were plastic clamps at the top of the assembly.

I must add. Too much heat and too long can delaminate the layers of PCB and mess it up. The best way I've done is a small pool of low temp some removing solder or to physically break the relay and remove pin by pin if you pull too hard while desoldering you will also destroy the PCB.
Not with that board. The average 90 Watt soldering iron never gets over 385 degrees. You'd have to be pretty ham fisted to ruin the circuit board while desoldering a relay. I've used gas soldering irons that get up to 595 degrees and never had a problem, but I've been soldering for over 20 years and know what I'm doing.
My driver side window not moving. I re-wire it by connect the motor to the rear window switch to make it work. Tried replace electronic modules for that window got no luck. Maybe it is the TIPM? 2011 Caravan
I really appreciate the video but I have a question. I have a 2015 Dodge Grand caravan. I keep replacing the alternator and the alternator doesn't last more than one day and the battery always dies. Do you think this might be the problem? I hope you can get back to me as soon as possible. I've spent a lot of money on the car and haven't even drove it 50 miles.
FYI, this does not work for the 2007 Ram 1500 5.7. Pulled my fuse box apart down to the PCB and there are no relays in there like in the video. The construction of the PCB is the same, but it did not have any of the same relays. Basically, it's unclear if the location RPM gives for the fuel pump relay is still considered the same since everything on mine (2007) is different from RPM's. For those looking to buy new relays, try digikey.com
What is better in your opinion to change the relay directly in the pcb or connect outside the box a standard bosh relay with wires fixed on pcb? Thanks again! Ad maiora
daniele cescutti I recommend to wire the relay externally, putting a 30A automotive relay, because the OEM relay used internally doesn´t handle the current so well , that why it fries , and it is hard to find!!

Hello, greetings from Chile. I don`t know if you could help me, i don`t know to who ask, and here in Chile is too expensive to buy a new TIPM. The issue is that i bought a 2007 Jeep compass cvt 4x4 with a burned TIPM case, this one works perfectly yet, but the low beams don`t turn on (the bulbs receive voltage from the TIPM with the low beam activated, but the voltage go from 12 V to cero V when they reach the bulbs, and won`t turn on) so i bought a used TIPM from 2010 year compass that works fine except for the Airbag Light in the cluster (and i tried every reset i watched). The thing is that i don`t know if i need to reprogram or flash this used TIPM or i need to change some pin in the cables of the TIPM (i only have the 2007 diagrams of the TIPM). I would be really grateful if you could help me, please. Bye.
You suggested, if given the option of soldering a new relay to the PCB or wiring an external relay, that you would go with an external relay. I would agree with that, but want to make sure I'm wiring the external relay correctly. Do you have a wiring schematic or a simple crossover from the NEC/Tokin EX1-2U1S to a standard 30A automotive relay? From there, I would know which wire goes where. Thanks!
Phil - You can get the wiring diagram for the NEC/TOKIN on it's Data Sheet Just do a search for the Data Sheet (I found it on mouser electronics) and from there you can match up the inputs and outputs for the NEC/TOKIN EX1 to the BOSCH removable style. You'll also want to make sure your external/removable solution has similar amp ratings so you don't burn up the relay or the wiring.

An irritation for such poor quality, but that's Chrysler's claim to fame, mediocrity. Jeeps are fun in spite of the miserable build quality.

You can purchase a Mopar fuel pump bypass relay here : www.ebay.com/itm/CBWPR091AB-WIRING-4-WAY-Chrysler-Dodge-Ram-Jeep/324019650146?hash=item4b71137e62:g:BEcAAOSwg-Vd~jGb
This is why I'll never own anything Chrysler makes again. These clown put the PCM plugs right above the wheel where all the dirt, water, and everything else from the road get's thrown onto it. There is also not much expect a piece of sorry ass rubber that rots away protecting the TIPM as well
+RPM There is a product that is a flat copper wick that is made specifically for this purpose. On an especially hard de-soldering job, you may wish to dip it in resin first. You simply place it flat against the joint and apply the hot iron to the wick. It will suck up the solder by capillary action when hot enough. You can find it on ebay. One example is at: www.ebay.com/itm/5-Feet-1-5M-3mm-Desoldering-Braid-Solder-Remover-Wick-Wire-Repair-Tool-/321772963644?hash=item4aeb29c73c:g:yBwAAOSwrklVbmpS

Wrong way to extract the old relay
You can purchase a Mopar fuel pump bypass relay here :
www.ebay.com/itm/CBWPR091AB-WIRING-4-WAY-Chrysler-Dodge-Ram-Jeep/324019650146?hash=item4b71137e62:g:BEcAAOSwg-Vd~jGb
Late to the party but there is 5min fix....
This is why I'll never own anything Chrysler makes again. These clown put the PCM plugs right above the wheel where all the dirt, water, and everything else from the road get's thrown onto it. There is also not much expect a piece of sorry ass rubber that rots away protecting the TIPM as well
Get a wiring schematic, identify the wires and put in a relay lol. Good job too much work
Chrysler is ignorant..... soldering in a relay
You obviously have no idea how to un-solder a joint
+Richard Manzo it is difficult when the solder is in both sides of the PCB, specially underneath the relay.
One example is at:

Dodge/Chrysler is evil
Please. Put away your soldering iron. Never solder or desolder anything again. Please. Also jamming a metal screwdriver under a circuit board to pry it out isn't too bright. Don't touch electronics at all, would be my best piece of advice to the person in this video
My truck is broke down. Since you are the self declared expert at soldering and desoldering, would you come and fix it for me? I need it for Wed. Thanks alot! My best advice to you is produce your own video on how to replace a faulty fuel pump relay, and post it. Other than than? Please just.....shut up.
Fuck off
