hey!! i wanted to ask, you said in your video you wish you trimmed and my loctician reccomended i trimmed 2in off my hair, my hair length ranges from 15-17in at the longest, is it necessary to trim? also i have high density hair as well, i wanted smaller parts but my consultant told me id have 1,000+ locs if she did small parting on my hair. does this mean my SL will be larger? it’s hard sometimes to get a straight answer with high density hair! thanks so much for your vids! they’re so helpful and i love following along!!!
Actually, it depends on hair type. Extra kinky hair can start settling in as soon as 2 weeks whereas looser textures take much longer to start settling. Settling is different than being fully loc'd.
Sis I’m a consultant I took the class and have established and continue to care for multiple clients with various king types and you are incorrect. My children have extremely kinky hair and they have had their Sisterlocks for 7monthd and still are not settled. Traditional Locs don’t even settle or Loc that quick. But I will let you continue to be misinformed and misinforming others like ya all do.
It’s the teeth for me!!!! Beautiful
Looking good so far! Can't wait to see the progress!
Thank you! I'm excited to see how they turn out! :)
Looking forward to seeing your journey, I’ll be starting mine soon!!

Yay! Welcome to the sisterlock family. Very nice to meet you
Welcome! Your locks are lovely 😊 My locks were installed on March 4, 2019 and I am also documenting my journey on UA-cam. #newsubbie
Sis it takes a while for your hair to settle. There is no way your hair has started settling.
