I know it's basically a staple to make skills in gacha games intentionally complex not only to allow for power creep but also to limit what each character can do and by doing so push people to pull for future characters but still, it's honestly ridiculous going from the main games where skills are as simple as "deals medium fire damage", "rises defence to all allies" or "high chance to confuse an enemy" to this game where your average skill is a while paragraph of percentages, conditions and stacks.
I was, and probably still am, confused about everything in terms of skills. But if you take the time to read it makes sense pretty quickly imo. I do wish it was more like traditional persona tho. Combat was already so good!
They have so many gacha competition right now. Fate, arknights, genshin, honkai, star rail, ZZZ, PGR, WUWA, project mugen. I hope they can keep up. And thrive in the competitive gacha scene. Hope they release global in 2025
Yes cowboy (Soy) is free Eventually there will be one more fifth member, code named Wind. From what I can tell she will be support. Cause I imagine they need one canon support character.
From what we know, after the Chinese and Korean release, it is then eventually going to be released in Japan, then it’s going to be released globally. But as for when the game releases in Japan then globally still remains to be seen.
Probably. I'm gonna assume that China handles distribution in Taiwan and Korea so that's why they get it so soon while ATLUS will handle the Japanese text translation(since the game is voiced in Japanese) and ATLUS West will handle the western release.
First Like Genshin and Star Rail it seems to me that there are more female characters, even the summons of the Cognitives are female, I don't understand why Riko/Wind is still shrouded in mystery, according to rumors it should be a navigator I have a theory about some future characters and why one from P5 doesn't appear They could put the Phantom Sees from Reload, in one event, each with a second firearm or melee, Kotone Violett and 2 use psycho and nuclear attribute I don't think there will be many next ones, they are using all kinds of weapons..
My theory that Toshiro, Eri who will be perfectly healthy and the real Kasumi will be present in the future It's an alternative world.. Also because with the rules of the original game each Palace is linked to one or more protagonists
@@Platinumsnake2024 It makes sense as China is the target audience who never got to play Persona 5 for whatever reason so they're testing the waters to see if this game will last long or EOS.
Zeffy do you think its worth investing into whatever available units are out now? With all the different elements in the game i suspect itll be similar to HSR where the best case scenario is having a lot of characters built for different situations. But im worried about wasting resources on random units
My answer might be a bit bias here... So I'm f2p and not looking to invest any money (or much time) into the TW/KR/CN versions of the game because I will be playing it again whenever global releases. So I'm just getting as many units levelled and beefed up as possible and just having fun with the story. I would invest in whatever units are out now if you can. I get that you would want to min max efficiently but at the end of the day, new characters will keep coming out no matter what so instead of hoarding resources for a potentially 'good' unit just use what you have now. Resources (like exp etc.), at least from what I've played so far, are pretty easy to get so it won't be a massive grind if you do end up 'wasting' some on units that may or may not be good.
Okay so downloaded Korean ver.. today and since its korean idk some of the controls.. would be helpful if you post some farming guide for passes/ pulls/gears and where to go.
Try screenshotting and google translating what it’s saying to know exactly what’s going on or I made a new video where I show you how to download an English mod for the game!
There's not many dedicated healers in the game rn (only two if I remember correctly) whereas Ann is just another dps unit. I chose Ann for my starter 5 star but I wish I was able to get Mona because the bosses in the game are genuinely beefy and take a while to defeat.
Mona probably, not many healing units and some fights is just out sustaining the enemy. BUT if you're like me and don't really care too much about min maxing (because I will be re-playing P5X whenever global releases), then go with whoever you want!
Im gonna be completely honest ive read some skills multiple times and i still got no idea what they do. On another note, playing pay to win games, specially gachas, without money is almost suicide. This reminds of the nier gacha game, a franchise that i loved, but i couldn't bear with it so im gonna skip on this one too. Still more the power to you and i hope you enjoy this game!
I love P5 but the gacha thing turns me off so bad. Just hearing people say "units" is cringy af. If this game had an offline mode, or at least it guaranteed you being able to use at least every character even if they weren't the strongest possible version, it'd be ok. But you can play the game and never pull a strong character? The fuck's wrong with that system... also, I just don't get the whole gacha thing if the game isn't competitive. Why do you need to "pull" strong characters if it's a single-player game with a story mode? Makes no sense to me...
pity systems exist, you WILL get a 5 star character after 70ish pulls if you get one before that count yourself lucky. "Single-player" games having gacha mechanics isn't anything new it's not like its forcing you to spend your wallet though; None of the big gachas are really competitive focused either, honkai star rail is single player and it has gacha same with genshin, fate, azur lane, etc. I get your point in disliking gacha systems but you make it seem like it's impossible to ever win in one
I get what you mean for sure which is why I’m gonna play the game as a f2p player to see if it’s still worth playing. Everything that I’ve seen so far points to the game being somewhat f2p friendly (at least for now) with all the free stuff you get and it’s just more Persona. Gameplay, music, character designs are what’s getting me to at least, give it a go.
@@lotabcm “hey, if you spend $120 the game will take pity on you and maybe give you what you’re looking for!” Dude, quit being a shill for games like this. No gacha is ever “worth it” and this will be no different

I’m hyped for this. I could never fully get into smt D x 2 but this looks good

I hope that all the new phantom thieves that they make for the story are free and they don’t just do these four
All of the "canon" party members (like Cattle and Closer) are free while Cognitive Phantom Thieves (like Fox and Mont) are gacha.
@@utlukka950 I thought that fourth Guy with the machine gun was free or was that just in his awakening Fight
@@owlish-6525 He is likely free because he's a "canon" party member in the story.

52:22 Apparently it's also called Doom Pursuit
No wait..I stand corrected
Any idea why the heck they are hiding this riko tanemura character? Even though they've shown her plenty of times now?
Leon + Skull looks pretty good.
I need the joker akechi team bro although it looks not very synergistic
1:04:33 I was caught off guard when you called Mona a "she" lol
Yea I made that mistake a couple of times. I literally re-recorded some parts lol but I guess I missed a few…
Wolf and Sophie better be in this game
I'm sure they will be! There's no way they won't eventually include them.
I'm i the only one who's waiting for Sumire ?
I just want aigis 😭🙏
I want koromaru :(
Will it ever come to the west (UK, USA etc)??
Yes, apparently it is

Heyo. Just wanted to ask. Do you play the korean Version on phone or PC? Because i have quite the bug on the mobile version when it comes to fights
Running it down mid with Rin, Ann(or Joker if I somehow get him in those first 50 free pulls), and Cattle and never pulling again lmao
Same!!
Is there romance options for this game?
Does this game have technicals???
yes
Yep it does!
My Chinese is not good enough to play this. Thanks for translating this for us! 谢谢!
