Thank you so much, Tristan. I officially left a web developer role at a company two weeks ago and you have been great at helping me kick start a new path. Amazing that you're giving out your knowledge for free!
Absolutely one of the best videos I have ever seen. Extremely knowledgeable, the content was more than I could have asked for, this video is gold my dude.
Hey Tristan, I'm a big follower of your videos... do you have any video for one of those calls with clients? what to cover and how to make that a successful call?
Unfortunately, google does not allow you to DL or supply forms as a template. You will have to create your own. Feel free to use similar questions to mine though.
Very informative video! I've got my client signed up and i wana learn all about the next steps... the kickoff meeting, how to present design mockups n all that. Im somewhat familiar with these but i wana learn these process in depth. Will your course and the fb group help me with this?
Thank you for the very helpful video. I really appreciate you going through it step-by-step. I am curious about the section on your Google form when you ask them for all their account login information. Do you have any concern about asking them to put the “keys to the castle“ into a Google form or really any online form? I tend to have them fill out a paper form, scan it and email it back to me. I don’t know if it’s any more or less secure. Curious what you or other people do for sensitive account information like this
Do you also use a fax machine? LOL It's only because I must be ignorant of the massive threat of exposure posed by Google forms as compared to email. I will become more informed.
These days we send contract and deposit at the same time. But the commitment from the client is not complete until they pay the deposit. And so we don’t do ANY work until both are sorted
Do you get deposit before even showing the customer a mockup design of what the website will look like? Would it be ok to ask for 50% once mockup is complete then other 50% upon completion of website?
I ask for 50% before I even start the project and mock-up. Then the final 50% once project is completed and they want it live. The deposit secures mine and my teams time for design and build.
one thing which would really improve your content (and overall character) would be to stop the cussing. There is absolutely no need for it, it isn't cool and adds no value... :/ On one hand you come across professional and mature, and on the other, you ruin it by cussing. This is my second video on your channel, and I directly noticed this problem.
Appreciate the comment. The occasional cussing is just a reflection of my everyday vocabulary. Some people are ok with it, and others are not. Maybe my content isn’t for you.

Hey Tristan, I'm a big follower of your videos... do you have any video for one of those calls with clients? what to cover and how to make that a successful call?
I use Square to send contracts and invoices . It’s super easy!
That is awesome. I have never considered square as an invoicing tool.
what I wanted.
can I get that google form link.
Anywhere we can download or duplicate your Google Form? Love the content!

Hey Trista, I just wanted to know whether you can send the Questionnaire Google Form document or not. Thanks in advance!
and if you are under 18 the signature will not be legal so I would need a co-signer of above 18 right?
Or does it work differently
Thanks for your content brother ! Do the clients sign the contract first and then pay the deposit or the or the contrary ?
We send both at the same time, often them sorting one means they’ll sort the other one too at the same time

Great question. We’ve never had any problems, if they don’t want to give access to anything, they simple leave the field blank.
Do you also use a fax machine? LOL It's only because I must be ignorant of the massive threat of exposure posed by Google forms as compared to email. I will become more informed.
So you're saying you actually get the first payment before the client signs the contract?
These days we send contract and deposit at the same time. But the commitment from the client is not complete until they pay the deposit. And so we don’t do ANY work until both are sorted
You da man, Tristan.@@tristanparker
I'd like to have access to the Facebook group, but I can't find it. Has the name changed? Thanks!
Sure, here is the link. Answer questions and the moderator should let you in 👍👍 facebook.com/groups/elementorwebdesign/
does your client need stripe to pay you?
Sorry for the delay. No, they dont need a stripe account, stripe just acts as the payment processor
