It is awesome to see someone actually talk about the psychological aspect of the users. I would LOVE to know more about user psychology, focus and their attention span (information that has been discovered by actual studies).
Not lying , because most of the clients I have enjoy hearing me speak about the psychology behind the decisions I made with their design! This was beautiful to watch!
Hi, I just want to leave a comment here I don't usually do it but I like how you do this information precisely, flow by flow. Not just it, the background and graphic edits you had in your videos it hooked me to continuously watch this, hope to see more creative videos like this on your Chanel.
This video is a gem. I appreciate the process you explained, it was insightful. You are adding valuable information to the community, please keep creating. thanks
@@InFellowShip It was a Graphic Design & Multimedia university in Italy. We learned a lot of different topics, such as marketing, graphic design, web design, html & css, photography, history of vfx, motion graphics, etc... but everything was a little superficial. With my bachelor's degree you know something about everything, but nothing super specific. That's why this video was so useful. 😊
I've been studying UI/UX recently and this video just answered a lot of questions I had. Reaaaally amazing work from content to delivery! Thank you very much!
Wow! The video is incredibly insightful and informative. Your clear presentation style made it easy for me to understand complex topics. I appreciate how you provided practical tips and actionable advice that I can apply. I am a junior student and your video made me think of some questions that would really appreciate your response. 1. Which platform can i create my questionnaire? 2. How do i set up my strategy ? (I didn’t fully get this!) And How do i know the strength from just their website? 3. Should i handoff to with the client all these steps; user flow, target audience outputs, components...etc or should i give the website final design only? 4. As for the development document can you make a separate video on it, I’ve never heard of it before! Thanks in advance.
Hey these are really great questions, I'll do my best to answer. I usually set up my client questionnaire as a Google Doc or a PDF that they can input within. If you're looking into more strategy deep dives I would suggest checking out Mark Pollard (Sweathead) or Julian Cole's content here on UA-cam. I would definitely ensure you get sign-offs at the various steps. So I personally like to get my basic business information provided in writing via the questionarre, then an approval at the strategy phase, I also like to get an approval for the moodboard, as well as the wireframe/sitemap/user-flow stage, then an initial design (homepage or major page) before designing all other pages. Great idea on the development document video, thanks!
@@CreativeDirectorExplains Thank you so much for the suggestions and illustration. So.. every step should be approved, noted. I look forward to the valuable insights of the upcoming video 😊
hey, we would love to see you making a video of exact how you start making design systems in figma and how you design from start to finish in figma, looking forward
That was an information packed video. Thank you. You should consider making a detailed design and strategy course with a real life example. Would love to see something soon.
so its also good that you know how design work and the development side for developers...i enrolled in web development but end up interested in UI/UX ...during our capstone we encounter the hastle part of designing our website, I could say it was messy ..I observe that developers don't really like to think about design..my brother have this too, prefer to only have the programming side and hated much the design...I'd like to in touch with web design, thanks to this content, I'm having glimpse on what to do..the subject was well discuss and very clear...
Great way to help the client become familiar with the wireframing process. I would like to see a video of tips for making wireframes. Got a new subscriber here!
thank you so much for this video. loved it. how do you keep tabs with the client on the progress of the project? do you use any project management platforms or you have a custom setup?
WOW WOW WOW😍😍🔥🔥....why did not I found this Video before. I Actually loved this Video and all the information and guide....I am surely and definitely follow this guide and make some or many case studies for my Portfolio....Thankyou really really Thankyou for the Video🙏🙏🙏🙏
This is very thorough and informative. Also can you share the client questionnaire template you send out? I just started my freelance journey and I lack the resources to streamline my whole work process.
This is a great question. I have these as standards in my workflow, so to be honest I haven’t had to explain the investment as I simply include them in the design process. If I was having to explain, I may focus on the benefit that it will protect them legally to include both. Secondarily, I would explain that the templates will already be built (eg: a simple text page for the privacy policy) so it’s a safe & minimal/easy investment for them. Hope that helps!
Hey, loved the video. Quick question what exactly does creative director do? I understand the approach now and the outcomes but exactly is your role in an creative environment.
Hey I’m glad you liked it. Great question, I’ll do my best to answer. A creative director can have many “core crafts”, but most commonly they either come from a copywriting or art direction background. (Art direction includes graphic design). A creative directors job is to lead a creative team, ensure high quality of work, pitch new work or sell ideas, and build relationships with clients. Though elements of this vary depending if you’re in-house, in tech, freelance, or at an agency. I hope that helps!
this was great and amazing and informative. but the part i have the most quesitons about is the part you left out haha. right after you said mentioned being ready for the launch of the website you stopped there. i don't know how to actually do this part. how do you launch your website? where and how does your client access this website? i feel like this video would be nice with a part 2 with ok what do you do after website has been designed and actually needs to be launched with client. you did an amazing job walking us through how you walk your client through the entire process but what about after the design process and after the actual launch and development process. i would love to know, as this is the part that it actually hard for me. i know figma and how to design but i have no idea how to actually launch a site or how to help my future clients with this and hosting and stuff. thanks!
Hi could you do a video on the equipment you use. Im interested in the computer you use for graphic design and other tools that are needed in graphic design. I found this video very informative and valuable. I joined your channel. Thank you.

What are your thoughts on privacy policy and cookie consent. How do you explain to your customer that is a necessary investment to add to the website.

It's very helpful. Can you give me the source where I learn accessibility and SEO for web design
so am I just gonna submit a figma HIFI prototype as the deliverable?
Hi, What if it’s a startup, how do you do the research?
Do you have any templates for the wireframe, strategy, page layouts by chance?
I have a template for the onboarding session linked, but I don’t have templates for the other elements. Would that be helpful do you think?
What is the font of your thumbnails? ❤
