These things are full here in Africa and they were imported from Japan. Super reliable and super strong components on these that last long. That 1kzte engine is a sweetheart. Just wished they sold more of these in manual, or just do a manual swap which isn't that complicated.

2:17 I hate to be that guy but your wrong. The SSR-X models come with a 2.7 Litre petrol engine. I own the exact same truck and in all honesty if you are to buy one of these go for the diesel model. Ive owned mine for about a year and there can be some issues with overheating while offroading. Unless you have money to afford a stainless steel snorkel and pod filter box it will get hot!
ssr-x is a trim level, it does not dictate what motor the vehicle has. you're in new zealand mate, quite literally surrounded by surfs and you're still misinformed. either way bro get a new hairstyle and do your research.

What do you think of owning one of these as a daily drive in NA? Drive throughs aside, is there any problems that you think would come up?
If you are okay with less power output, I would imagine the driving experience would be very similar.
