A little bit on the involved side for my liking, but definitely something I will attempt soon.

Can 100% confirm that these look even better in person! Thanks for taking on this build for us here at CDG, we're thrilled with how they turned out.

The reason these look so good is cause of texture, color and depth. I can't stand the jackassery of people making lakes, streams and ponds blue for tabletop terrain. You did a really exceptional job. Keep it up.💀

Thanks so much for the kind words.
I never make water blue. I usually do green, brown or clear. If I was making a beach scene I may add some blue. Not for small ponds like this though.
Thanks for watching and I'm glad you liked the video.

The Cork just shines in this project. Perfect material. I love the low flat edges, how irregular they are and how solid they look, Really good job. Like #34
This is the video that UA-cam recommended to me. When I saw the camera fly across the cork and resin in the intro, I just hit the subscribe button.

Watching this as a video, when the fish headache happened, you could have just just hid them under plants and insinuate the fish being there, but you pushed through and it turned out amazing!! I've been wanting a swamp for so long I may have to mix this and the trees together hahah

This just popped up on my feed. Looks amazing! I'll have to watch the whole thing when I get a chance. Keep up the good work 👌 I want to make a video similar but I've never delved into the magic of resin

Thanks for the kind words. Many are scared of epoxy resin. It's nothing to be scared of. I'm an amateur with it myself. Whatever advice I can offer though please feel free to PM me on Facebook or Instagram.

Love your channel! You sure have a new subscriber! Can I ask you an absolute beginner question? Will any spackle do, or do you you have to use a specific one for cork? Also, same question for the resin... Keep up the amazing content!

    • @immersiveterrain

Thanks for the interest and for the encouraging words. Any spackle will do. Some are thicker than others. Proper drywall compound is best, but common crack filler will do to. When it come to resin I found the stuff for garage floors got the best results but was hard to work with because of the mixing ratio. The one I used in this video was artist resin with a 1:1 mix ratio. It was much easier to use. Less room for error and as you can see it turned out great. Does that help?

Hi...You flashed the paints by too fast. What was the sand mixture paint you used? DecorArts or something...didn't get the colour choice. The results are great and I have some unused corkboard right here! Cheers.
    Edit: Frame-by-frame! Cinnamon Brown!

    • @immersiveterrain

The reason I flipped it by so fast is because the brand is not important. It's an inexpensive water based acrylic. Insert your favourite brand here, kinda thing. As far as colour, that's also subject to preference. Whatever brown shades you like. I flip back and forth between cinnamon brown and burnt umber for pieces like this. Either is appropriate.

@@immersiveterrain All good, but I'm terrible at picking colours. Cheers!
