If you are talking about the Pollyanna/I Believe In You song, then let me tell you this:
*The Pollyanna/I Believe In You song is NOT fanmade.*
The original song was sung by Catherine Warwick, who was 14-years-old at the time when she sang the Pollyanna/I believe in you song.
Catherine Warwick was born on October 24th, 1974, and the song was recorded on August 21st, 1989,
which was the same year (but not the same month or day) when the Mother 1 game was released in Japan.
((Which again, meant that she was 14 when she sang that song.))
The reason why Pollyanna/I Believe In You is in English and not Japanese was because the song was meant for the English localization of Mother 1
(which never happened because of the fact that Mother 1 was not successful here in America and did not sale well), and since the localization never happened,
it was just left on the internet for people to listen to....
It's kind of sad that most people have never heard of such an amazing franchise, let alone beautiful song! If only the Mother/Earthbound series was popular here in America....
But however, if you are talking about *THIS Mother 2/Earthbound style of Pollyanna this person made, then yes, you are correct.*
This style of the Mother 1/Earthbound Beginnings Pollyanna (which plays the moment Ninten steps out of his house and embarks on his adventure)
