I felt like “I’ll miss you” was from Ness to the player. We are the ones who were with him from the first knock to the last prayer. We were with him in Magicant and saw his earliest memories. The kids can see each other anytime, but this is where our journey together ends.

The ending of Earthbound reminds me of the last day of school. Saying goodbye to your friends hoping to see each other again but you all know this is your last goodbye. It breaks my heart to say this, but I imagine that Ness Paula Jeff and Poo never saw each other again. They lived out their life's and fulfilled their dreams but still kept the events of Earthbound close to their hearts.
EarthBound truly loves the idea of being a kid. It feels great to feel like a kid on a grand adventure you always imagined yourself as. Going back to EarthBound feels like you get to travel back in time to be that kid you used to be again. I'm glad they brought back EarthBound to the Nintendo Switch SNES online it gives new players that feeling that they might have missed before.
That's one of my biggest gripes with the game. They treat it like it's so emotional like they'll never see each other again. Like cmon Ness you can literally teleport to Paula's house!

This is the greatest RPG ever created, from the music, to the gameplay, the story, the weird parts, the scary parts, but most importantly, the characters and their dialogue. This game has so much life in it's characters, I can't believe this gem has been hiding from me for so long. But after so much battles, XP and difficult bosses, I can say, this is the greatest RPG experience I've ever had.

I can’t even describe how much I love earthbound in words, the story, characters, and music were all perfected. I seriously could talk about earthbound for hours just because of how much I love the game and it’s wacky characters. When I finally got to the final stage of the Giygas fight where Paula kept praying, I felt worried that they were going to loose it all, and when the game mentioned the that me, the player was praying as well, I got really emotional because I wasn’t just the player, I was helping Ness and his friends along the way. By the time Giygas was defeated, I was in tears and I was so happy to see that Ness and his friends were safe and that their world was back to normal, thanks to the help of me. I had never played any RPG games in my life, but earthbound will forever be my favorite since it gives me memories of watching my brother play it on the mini snes years ago. I am currently playing Earthbound Beginnings and still have to find a copy of Mother 3, but besides Rhythm Heaven, earthbound is the best series that nintendo has ever made.

Thank You Nintendo. I was never interested in Earthbound until the direct for adding these games in NSO. Now it's one of my favorite games and I am playing Mother 3 with an emulator. Oh, if you are reading this. Don't read comments in Earthbound videos, they have Mother 3 spoilers
Luckily, I don’t care about spoilers lol. I also didn’t care about Earthbound until I was browsing the library of an emulator I had and I saw “Earthbound” and decided to play it because I predicted from the little knowledge I had, that it was a cool sc-fi adventure and I’d be so badass for playing. (I’m not that wrong about the sc-fi part but even if it was wrong my guess got me to play it :D) Unfortunately no one near me likes or knows about it :(

I think about my cat a lot when I listen to this song. It's what I was listening to after we buried him
This game is truly amazing, and I’m very happy it exists
I miss you too
Try as I might, there are never any smiles when I hear this song.. only tears..
I miss you
I miss you... Earthbound...
Things won’t ever be the same again, and that’s okay.

Lyrics:
Grown ups have seen
so much more than me
So many things that
I still want to see
So I took my backpack into the world
and filled it with memories
My favorite baseball cap on my head
My worn out sneakers,
a faded white and red
My lucky guitar pick shiny and clear
Safe in my pocket, right here.
Though sometimes I got
sad and almost cried
You were always with
me, by my side.
I knew that we were
friends to the core
But maybe it was something more
Together we walked
that road for so long
We laughed, we played, we
got hurt, we grew strong
Taking shortcuts, and getting lost,
I learned what I’d known all along:
That even if you can’t believe
In the goodness of everyone you meet
Sometimes you know,
and you can’t let go
Believing in your friend
And just by being there, you see,
Just by being who you’d always be
You helped me grow,
you helped me to know
The stronger, happier me
Like a gentle breeze,
through grass and trees
You always carried a smile
Yes we, who shared
our smiles and our tears…
(I miss you)
…we two are now…
…far apart.
i love earthbound💖
This song is really calming
This is why I think Earthbound is the best nintendo game ever made, these soundtracks give you feelings that cannot be replicated
Used a variation of this songs title for my yearbook quote, truly one of the best credits themes ever.
This game has touched me the way no other one ever has. It may not be my favorite game of all time, it may not be the most fun at some parts, but damn, the way they explored emotions in this game is so... touching. I remember beating it for the first time while i was hearing this song, just sitting completely quiet in my room, with this fuzzy feeling, I knew that what i had experiencied was magical. Damn, I really wish i could experience it for the first time again
there's something... so... genuine about it it's why the stars stream light where they are where we are.. God, what it is it's what we are
Well Mario’s old voice actor, 5:11.
Why isn’t Earthbound on the Switch?
D O N ' T
Because it’s coming to ps5
@@2cool4u06 bruh what
@@thebestcommenter22 just a joke on sony owning the soundtracks for both 1&2
It is now
I want this to play at my funeral
Hell yeah.
I already read the comments on every video for this OST lol
I could’ve used this tip before I binged this whole playlist...
(I’m not that wrong about the sc-fi part but even if it was wrong my guess got me to play it :D) Unfortunately no one near me likes or knows about it :(
@@Miri_the_1st same, Idk anyone lol
Pretty sure this was my first RPG. Love this game.
My first JRPG adventure
Was my second. Had some high standards with SMRPG. Knocked it out of the park. Itoi cooked with this series, and it'll live on as one of the best RPG series known to man.
I accidentally fell asleep to this song after beating it for the first time, and i missed the part where it says “I miss you.” and now, relistening to it, i’m like, “what? was that always there? can they do that on a snes?” Also my friend is giving me his gba tomorrow, so i can play mother 3 finally!
Yum
