Seal it up?! So when the fan motor needs to be serviced or when it needs a full clean, youll have to paint because the calk will pull it off.

Simply seal at the roof you cant seal the hole at the wall. Have you not seen how its installed?... can cant seal it as once its up its covered

The Daikin US7 seemed to have a good system for sealing up penetrations, however this is no longer sold in Australia, I’m hoping other Daikon’s which are available on the market are easily sealed, Perhaps other installers may have experience who can comment.

This and all the other problems you’ve shown makes me so angry. I mean you folks are in a first world country. There’s ABSOLUTELY NO room for these types of shoddy workmanship.
