Made this tonight for dinner! Got two decent sized pizzas out of the recipe for me and my mum. Better than any takeaway GF pizza I've had by far! (I made it with alpro Greek style soya yogurt and it worked amazingly so it can be made completely vegan too) 😁 Thanks for bringing pizza back into my life ❤️🍕
Oh my god, after two months wanting to try this recipe I finally got gluten free flour and it blew my mind. It's the best pizza dough ever! Thank you for sharing these amazing recipes!
MERCI! Thank you! I have tried so many fancy, time-consuming gluten-free pizza dough recipes and was ready to give up, always a sticky, gluey disaster... Your easy, quick and delicious recipe will at last enable me to make great tasting pizzas with a minimum of fuss. Fantastic! :)
this is really amazing . you don't have a massive fancy kitchen with state of heart equipment. you are so relatable . your dishes are easy and wholesome and to be honest its so relaxing watching you . well done my lovely .
Becky, My fave ❤️❤️🥳 your videos brighten up my day! My hubby was diagnosed celiac late last year and I've been struggling with it because I love food and I love him! Haha I appreciate your recipes so much ❤️ hugs from Canada!
We've just had this for lunch. The rest of my family don't need gluten free, but they all loved it. My 5 year old just told me that my pizzas are better than the ones you get in restaurants! None of that kneading and proving malarky and I've just made some rosemary bread with the leftovers. Big hit
Made this today for my parents as my mum has coeliac disease. Worked a treat, although with the flour I used (still GF self raising) it only took about 1/3 of the yoghurt. Definitely making this again in the future!
Wow! Thankyou so much for posting this recipe! My daughter had to go gluten free at the beginning of the year, she is also lactose intolerant and not keen on meat. I have been trying to cook as much food that all of our family of 5 can/will all eat, as I don't want her to feel 'left out' at meal times when everyone else's dinner looks more yummy than hers.....We cooked this pizza for lunch, thrown together from what we had in the cupboards...it was super quick (much quicker than regular pizza base!), relatively cheap (probably only the cost of one small store brought gluten free pizza, but I made enough for all 5 of us!), and most important of all yummy! Thumbs up all round! I am looking forward to trying out more of your recipes!
I miss the cheese so much !!! Lactose free cheese was the last thing i had to cut out of my diet because i couldn't handle the milk protein at all... so i buy vegan cheese now but it is not the same. I hope can eventually can reintroduce it because i never had any problems before. Thank you so much for sharing those recipes!
Thank you so much! This is the easiest and most simple gluten free pizza dough recipe that I have come across. And might I add the most delicious one I've ever made or tried. Again, thanks so much! ❤️
Hello from Stockholm, Sweden! Thank you for all your inspiring recipes. I have IBD and eat gluten free. I have gotten lots of tips and ideas from your videos. Keep up your great (and delicious) content!!! Stay safe!
This is exactly like from Emma's Goodies channel...except hers isnt gluten-free so i swapped out the flour for gluten-free flour and it did work...it is amazing and delicious! I cook it on the bbq to get that wood burning like taste...delicious!
Hi, I'm Chantelle from Canada and I just found your channel. I also just started my journey of being Gluten-Free and lo sugar. I just wanted to say I tried this last night and OMG! Thank you! I loved it! I honestly thought going Gluten Free would be so hard and a horrible journey but honestly finding recipes like yours make it so much easier thank you!!
Chantelle Matthews I’ve never seen gluten free self raising flour in Canada. Can you tell me the brand of flour you used to make this recipe as I’d love to try and make it. Thanks.
Hi becky, Going glutenfree this past few weeks and the difference and no tummy ache is so notable, tried your recipe, had no gum so said to subs with double the amount of husk, tried this, still crumbly but I did make it to the pan and made a quesadilla type effort finishing it off in the George forman, and have the base made for your pizza later. I'll get the x gum, but should it have worked doubling the psyllium husk, appreciate some tips, yours in the video looked much sturdier to handle. Hats off the you GF bakers!!
You can mince garlic into melted butter, spread over some GF bread and cook in the oven for a quick garlic bread. Obviously not as creative as your home made dough but works a treat 👍
I made pizza for my son he loved them X Can you cook the Bases in the oven? I have an induction on which I’m still getting used too I found I had some burnt patches 🥴🥴 any tips would be great 😊 X
Hey!! Just recently found after many years of digestive problems to name a few issues ice discovered I suffer from coeliacs disease!! This looks amazing and I really want to try it, what are the amounts I need of each item in the dough mixture?
Rather than buying gf self-rising flour, what do I have to add to the gf flour blend that I have on hand for this crust? Hope I get a reply, rarely do on other channels.
Hi becky. I am low fodmap and onion and garlic intolerant. I thought pepperoni had garlic? I have been neglecting it for the last year! Also thanks for the garlic infused oil tip!! 😘😘
Have made this before but without cooking in the pan first, will try that next time! Can I ask... Is the ramekin you used to mix the garlic bread oil an old Gü pudding ramekin if so, I also use these as have so many now 😂
When I'm in the first phase, how much of that Pizza would I be allowed to eat? I'm very very confused with this diet :( I feel like I can barely have a ny food because the amounts of bread, oats and everything that makes me full are soooo limited
Hey Becky! I think it's time I finally introduce myself. I'm Tiina from Ontario, Canada and I've been watching you guys for about a month or so now. I was recently diagnosed with IBS, and on the low fodmap elimination diet at the moment. When I first discovered your channel, I did some binge watching for a while, kind of felt like a stalker! Lol I'm 52, and I've had a bad tummy my whole life, it's nice to finally know what's been wrong with me! Too bad it took 40 bloody years! 🙄 I don't find this elimination phase very difficult, because I feel SO MUCH BETTER! I've been trying all types of gluten free breads, and I'm not impressed. So much processed crap in them, and they are crazy expensive. So I've started a sourdough starter, but it's not ready yet, and I've tried different flours like buckwheat, rice, oat, flax, chia, etc... I just tried a quinoa flatbread, so simple, and really good! Lots and lots of experimenting going on, but I'm really enjoying the whole process. Love your channel, and all your and Mark's recipes! Take care, stay safe, and be well you two! Tiina 😊❤🇨🇦
Hey, nice to e-meet you! So glad the low FODMAP diet helped you, especially if you've lived with IBS for so many years - I can't imagine how awful it's been for you. I'm hoping to try a sourdough starter myself soon so let me know how yours goes!! Thanks so much for watching by the way, it means a lot! Stay safe, healthy and happy as well to you and your family! x
You can usually get away with leaving the xanthan gum out so I'd give that a try first! The protein in yoghurt is great at binding with a gluten-free flour blend x
Hi Becky, I love your recipe for this and the naan. Have you tried freezing the dough? I usually like to make double and freeze some for the next time. Wonder if you had tried it. Thank you
The dough freezes perfectly! Also, after frying the pizza base on both sides, we sometimes freeze them at that point too. Then you can warm them up in the oven from frozen, then continue to top them as normal! Thanks for giving my recipes a go! x
Hi. Becky. Can i use self raising gluten free flour for this. BDW, i have sent many questions before on some videos of you, haven't received any answer. Im waiting at least for this an answer😍
Hi, I'm confused. Did you make your gluten free flour mixture? Is that store bought? If so, what brand do you use as they are all different? Your recipe talks about types of yogurt but I did not see anything on the GF flour. Please and thanks ! (Sorry if I missed something)
Hi Walter! If it failed, I wouldn't post it as a video and encourage people to make it! This recipe also wouldn't be in my recipe book if that was the case 😂 But thank you for your own (very uniquely phrased) suggestion that I should cut the final pizza at the end next time - I agree and I'll try to make sure I do that in future! x
Tried the dough recipe from the book. Didn't come out great. Not bread like at all. More like soggy pastry. Gutted. As ingredients expensive. Such a waste.
Found this produced a heavy base way too stodgy and just not nice. I'm very disappointed and to say this is like a regular pizza base is just not true. I'm a keen cook and baker so certainly not a novice. The scones from another video were also a total let down I bought the book but as yet the success rate of these recipes is poor.

Thank you, I can't wait to try this! It will be a lot more economical than frozen GF pizzas which run twice the price of regular pizzas in the states.
This is hands down the best gluten free pizza I have ever had. Just finishing the second slice, so yummy. Thank you for sharing! :)
Rita, May I ask what amount of ingredients did you use ?

Thank you sooooo much Becky, it looks awesome, I'm making it today 💓

Well all i can say is both my 2 little 1's have both devoured their's, crusts and all!!! 👍🏻✌🏻💖
Looks great, Just made a vegge soup with a beef bones, but will try this in a couple days, thank you!

Hi Becky, Paisley from NZ here 😊 was wondering what the ratio in cups would be for the flour and yogurt as I'm having trouble trying to work it out 😅
It looks like about 1 1/2 cups flour and 1 1/4 cup yogurt. I would just weigh it with a scale and then you can go by the gram amount.
Looks amazing thank you Becky. I have just found out I am gluten sensitive x

Is this just an experiment!? Just curious cause you didn’t give us measurements so I’m a little confused
I wish you had said how much cups of g/f flour and ? c, of water since you used teaspoons on the salt, oil and sugar
Where do I find the recipe amounts for this please

Question for those who have tried this out::Can I replace gluten free self raising flour with just the usual gluten free flour?
I add extra baking powder to plain flour. 1 tsp to every 100g of plain flour. Its worked for me with cake recipes.
Which GF flour fid u use?
I tried doing this recently bcz I couldn't find yeast at the supermarket
Omg you're the best 🍕
If you dont have xantam gum will it still work?
Ooh I'm tempted to try this, does it keep? As I probably couldn't finish off the whole pizza in one sitting :)
Yesss, we usually freeze the pizza base after dry frying on both sides and then you can continue with the recipe as normal from frozen x
@@BeckyExcell Hi thank you but I meant once it has been cooked, does it keep for leftovers for the next day? :) x
Hi looks amazing 😊 do you think using psyllium husk instead of xanthan gum will work for this recipe? Thanks x
You can usually get away with leaving the xanthan gum out so I'd give that a try first! The protein in yoghurt is great at binding with a gluten-free flour blend x

Can we omit it
Does it taste good with dairy free yogurt? Has anyone tried it
Heyy Becky! This recipe looks good! Can i replace xantham gum with cornstarch? Will it be the same?
No...xanthan gum mimics gluten in that it helps make the dough more elastic and stretchy...cornstarch is more of a thickening agent
@@NucciaArdagna got it. Thanks!

what does the gum do
Dee Dee It helps bind the dough together as gluten free flour doesn’t act as a regular flour would. It can be very flaky and break apart easily
exactly, thanks Adam! x
