Actually you adjusted the SWR's for the receive frequencies which a lot of people do but is wrong. You need to adjust the SWR's around the middle of the "Transmit" frequencies. For 2 meters you would adjust SWR's for around 147MHz and around 447 MHz for 70cm. By the way, I have the same MFJ meter and it works very nice!
easy to add waterproofing of connecter during assembly, I also clean connections with deoxit before locking down tight. then splicers tape ect. too late later on.

I have dual band diamond x-30, my question is that, is it normal to be shorted? I tested the negative (side) and positive(middle) the rf of my antenna but it seems the continuity of my tester beeping?

@@tobymurs6495 yes and no. You're not going to die, if you touch the metal parts of the antenna. The exposed metal on this antenna is on the ground side, so there's no RF going through those metal parts. However, you could receive an RF burn which could be painful, but skin burns heal.
@@SuAmigoElilegal I used my tripod for test and demonstration only. I have it attached to a steel bracket on my tower now. i guess pvc or wood might work if you want it up for temporary testing only. it wont work for permanent installs. 73

Hello MickH im just using a brandless generic speaker stand. I used a speaker stand because it has wider legs and bigger tube columns 😊 73

...yes I experienced the same thing. I asked the factory and they told me that these designs are shorted. ✌🏻😊
