I dont mind seeing reloads like this if i can have a semi accurate uniforms, vehicles and setting. SHG went full "fuck ww2, lets bring in nicki minaj and snoopdog to stalingrad" while at least Dice tried to keep it authentic. As long as the players dont make "ww2 germans vs bf3 americans" servers
They aren't horrible to look at, but it's clear these guys didn't do any history consulting at all. The most obvious for me is the M1 Garand, where the soldier doesn't even push the clip release button and uses a scope model from the Lee Enfield in a scout configuration, rather than the correct scope, mount and offset pad used by the actual M1C. Yeah, yeah, tactical reloads are dumb in a World War 2 setting, but even the models are not to a very high standard.
Even the gunplay feels worse than Battlefield V (No Shit) In BFV the guns felt, and sound punchy and felt like they had recoil. This one, the gunplay and punchy feeling doesn’t exist.
Tactical reloads in upper Cold War era weapons: YES YES YES!!!
Tactical reloads in lower WW2 era weapons: NO NO NO!!!!
Dude bar mag is massive i dont know how your hand would fit 2 of them while tacticoolly reloading
2:44 11/10 Best Animation.
1:40 Baked sausage
1:11 always love a good old STD-44
What's the same between BF Portal 1942 and COD Vanguard?
*Both games have tactical reloads*
And both have shit release state
At least Dice kinda tried to fix the game, unlike SHG.

The STG sounds incredibly realistic ngl, the punch and the fire rate are perfect
If we exclude a few oddly scaled rear sights, they're very nice.
So weird that Ripple Effect reused the models from BF5, but not the animations.
0:40 a true revolver shotgun is here lol
I dont understand why they didnt reuse assets from BFV
All the 3D models from 1942 portal are BFV assets. They probably wanted to match the tac reloads of the other modes
1:34 that's a great way to turn your hands into a BBQ hands
And how is that, exactly?
Maybe because holding the barrel?
Yup. He should lock the carrying handle to the side and use it as a grip. They had it in BFV idk why they didn’t have it here.
This game and Vanguard made me hate the tactical reload.
5:56 Battlefield Theme

Sound of the same weapons in bf5 are better, ngl.
The m1a1, m1911 sounds are good in this one.
I still waiting the eastern front
Such wasted potential.

Right now I heard Sub-Zero voice.
Yup we know and we've known that for almost two years now. No need to preach to the choir
@@EasyBakeEpix1365you're right the stg in V has a better recoil animation and a good reload animation too
Agreed grandmaster blueberry ice.
they still not yet add stripper clips to bolt action rifle 🙄
I’m mad I spent money on this game :/
Why the M2 and no M1 Carbine lol
I like this game
I'm so glad this game is better now.
this some serious half baked shit compared to BF1 animations
Battlefield 1942 has better animations than this game
why does the bren sight say 7.62mm when its a ww2 version thats supposed to be in .303
