A few of the recent WW2 multiplayer games seem to follow the same trend with reload animations, where they are accurate, but are done more casually as if they are shooting at a range, instead of with a little more haste like you'd expect to have on a battlefield.
This one isn't nearly as bad as others I can think of. But I agree with your general sentiment. I swear this trend started in Escape from Tarkov. Too much autismo focus on muh realistic reload and not enough focus on the fact that you're supposed to be in an intense battle with shootouts happening at any moment
Shorten that "trend" into "a lot of WW2 games nowadays are multiplayer" and thats the real problem is to me. Idk man, I dont any issue with the animation. Not a fan of MW2019 reload style much since its cancerous.
@@linkfreeman1998 There is a game called ‘Easy Red 2’. Think of it as a mix of COD 2 + BF1942, Its a singleplayer focused game where you play againts AI in a small section of a giant map (which mean you can go anywhere even when there is no enemy). There are planes and tanks (A lot of it, there is a video that shows all of the tanks), There are also a lot of faction to play as, each with their own uniform and weapons (which translate to over 100 weapons). Check it out
@@Gameprojordan I see a lot of people use this notion of "being in a firefight" as an incentive to reload faster, but consider. Being shot at is generally considered stressful. Being under stress increases your chances of mistakes. Trying to rush any action increases your chances of mistakes. Put the two together, and you get an improved chance of messing up your reload. Alternatively, if you slow down to take just a bit more time, and ensure everything is done correctly, you can reduce the chances of a mistake, at the cost of ideal fractions of a second.
Idk, I personally think some animations, especially for pistols are way too fast, with a player grabbing new magazines almost instantly (WW1 Era webbings didn't have competition-style mag pouches for pistols, they would've taken more time to reach and grab)
Honestly i played this mod it was actually really fun however it was REALLY challenging especially because your ai wouldent help much when it came to capturing points
Germans can choose a captured and rechambered Lewis in coop modes. There are no stat differences, its simply something that was added for historical flavor
This game is a wasted potential by being multiplayer...lets see how long it will last until people thought the devs left the base game not updated and the game is considered "dead". Devs,u have basically one of the easiest game engine to mod with (Source), use the engine to make the game single player, not multiplayer. Or is that too much to ask?

The black powder guns like the Reich revolver need a smoke cloud at the tip of the barrel after firing
I like the small detail of how the bolt stays back til you shoot. Not many games have that detail.
Just for you know, Military Conflict Vietnam got new update with alot of gun, ❤
yeah i will upload it tomorrow
Cool!

Mod for day of infamy?
Yes

How do you get the 1911 .445 and the new P08
screaming steel goes kinda hard ngl
I'm a little surprised they never added the Gewehr 88/05 and Hotchkiss Portative.
The k98 is perfect
5:32
When it says 1911 455, is it implying that it was chambered for Webley rounds? 🤔
Lmao
That actually did exist, but in the next world war
man the audio is so weirdly mixed in this one. Some good samples from the mod itself though
I bet they don't have a proper sound engineer
2:27 Why the hell would they make it Single Action Only ? .
Don’t understand why you load them separately when the scope is on the side
Stripper clips can easily be used
Stripper clips are available for the snipers ingame, but they're not shown in the video.
Probably for balance reasons.
Hope they make second Screaming Steel after they are done with Sandstorm 1944
Not the same creators.
Day of infamy ww1 version.

Both Day of Infamy and Screaming Steel supports bots in MP and COOP gamemodes - you can play both games solo just fine.
@@AshtonmartinVids I mean, fully blown story based campaign, not just glorified CS:CZ bots mode. But fine I guess.
Literally gmod tfa weapons
If these assets also exist in Gmod they’ve been ported from Screaming Steel - without permission I might add
Dang, what boring and rigid reloads
