- Kentucky football pulled off a stunning upset, defeating No. 6 Ole Miss Rebels on the road in a thrilling SEC showdown.
Mark Stoops showed once again that Kentucky’s football program is a force to be reckoned with proving they can compete with the best in the SEC. The Wildcats’ defense played a pivotal role, making crucial stops against the high-powered Ole Miss offense. Could the Wildcats still be in the race for the College Football Playoff with the resume-boosting win?

We need chip , hopefully he will play. I’ve heard he’s not playing any this year. Great win at Ole Miss ! BBN
I like the mma comparison, spot on. We have weapons at wideouts tho
Kentucky at 9-3 with losses to Texas UGA and South Carolina isn’t getting into the playoff. That South Carolina loss at home single handedly ruined any chance of that
Kentucky has the most proven defense in the country!
This is probably fair at this point. Yeah, I like it.
I just wish we didn't drop those one or two each year that we shouldn't be dropping.
I get what you are saying but let’s be honest, who doesn’t do that? Almost every single team in the country drops one or two they shouldn’t every single year. That is one of the biggest differences in today’s game compared to the rich brooks era and before that. The game now along with the transfer portal has become more of a level playing field than it ever has. Just take the sec, vandy, UK, miss state even ole miss were all push overs. Vandy has shown they can compete. Now they may not win every game but they are not pushovers nor is Kentucky. Talent is a lot more spread out now compared to a decade or two ago and it shows. So yes it sucks to take loses to teams you think you are better than but at the same time 50/50 games are just that, 50/50.
Best ranked ROAD win since 1977, not best ranked win.
Carolina just whipped Kentucky, however, Carolina only had 258 total yards in that one
I think that result was due to an anemic offense and bad punting. Carolina scored a lot but how many times did they get the ball on their side of the field?
as long as they don’t party all week on their bye week 8-4 is still the goal. tennessee and texas should be the ONLY losses. louisville is mid this year
Chip Trayanum hasn't been playing either. It will make a difference with him in there although we wouldn't gave seen Wilcox as much.
@@nspektrgadjet1561 Wilcox is going g to get carries as long as he can pass pro
I heard this morning that his hand still isn’t well and may sit out for the rest of the season
Well, that is not good news.
