On 04/20/1991 Cocteau Twins presented in São Paulo, Brazil, the Heaven or Las Vegas tour. Me and my girlfriend were in the audience, but some days before I was so mesmerized that I found out the hotel where they guested and I called to Liz & Robbin room twice in different days. To my surprise, I could talk to Robbin and Liz respectively and asked them to play Crushed. They answered "maybe, maybe". But, on the day of the show and at the encore time the first chords made all the crowd WOW and my tears started rolling down. Everybody enjoyed Crushed live, but that moment was totally mine. o/

@@DM-tj8ii Exquisite taste! I saw Cocteau Twins in Koln in 1990; halfway through, Elizabeth Fraser’s earpiece failed and she just went ahead without it! At one point, she came down from the stage and started singing in the middle of the people. It was amazing! As for Rush, I saw them once, in 2002, in São Paulo, Brazil, in what ended up being their largest crowd ever: 60 thousand plus! Unforgettable show!
Cocteau Twins is the reason music exists. God just wanted us to feel, there is a light. Time goes by, love to all “best” bands bleached, but when one note with this unique taste reaches my brain, I feel THIS bitter sweetness more sharp.

this is my favourite album of theirs. this song and all of them go straight into my being and become a part of me - they have always been me, I recognise myself in others, i see myself in them, we speak the same language, hence my claim to them, my claim to all of you fans as well, we are one merged by love - this album moves me deeply. it's a true 10/10 masterpiece and feels amazing to perceive the same feelings in other people here online. so grateful for all of this.
