Couple of Pot Wasp Nests Removed

I was hired to remove a couple of nests from flower pots. The first nest stung the homeowner when they tried to water the rose.

The second nest appeared to be a "failure"--did it have a queen?

Makes me wonder if those were supposed to be planters. Don’t typically see styrofoam in planters like that.
