As someone who considers Charlie Kaufman to be one of his favorite filmmakers working right now, the fact that this exists just in general makes me so happy! Thank you Kaufman for all the work you've contributed to filmmaking, I'll always appreciate you, please keep making the stuff that makes you you!

Watched im thinking of ending things three times and in each one i discovered something new . Kaufman's ability to portray loneliness is impeccable , i honestly love all his films . Hopefully he makes more of them the world needs it .

Charlie is a massively under appreciated filmmaker. Every film he directs of his own have been completely and utter successes in regards to the art form.

They used Motioncam to record in pure RAW format video.
Thats why it doesn't look like your typical smartphone video

Charlie Kaufmann is something else. This was soul soothing. I am 33 y old, I wish more people would understand me deeply, profoundly. Alone and cornered, with tears falling down again. I wish I could go back. Where everything was fine, only hearts were broken.I wish for the sun to shine again in my life. But above all, I wish she says Hi again..

I'm 26 and I usually feel like I've wasted my life but then someone in real life tells me I still got time and I can learn some vocation and start my life anew.
But it doesn't help me, and it only makes me feel like I have failed to be normal among peers and left behind, only to be saved by someone's advice on getting better.
I do have some traumatic experiences I have to confide to release them, but I'm unsure how it'll be received and I'm ashamed of being passive negative thought-filled boy.
I'm really afraid of being seen as weird, and I hide myself to not be seen at all, which makes it explicitly weird for those who know me.
But my narcissistic side feels a bit happy to see other people who are but older than me confiding online that they're feeling bad about themselves, makes me feel good like I'm not that person. But then, upon sobering from that jealously-narcissistic-sadistic pleasuring from other's sad stories, I feel more shitty and hopeless that I'll be someone else laughing stock for being perceived a loser.
      Fug.
I'm confused most of the time, and I'm in need of professional help, social connection and some hug.
      I hug you stranger. 🫂

Dang, how did I NOT see this sooner? Usually, I try to keep anything Charlie Kaufman-related on my radar. Spellbindingly beautiful and original. Not one word of Eva H.D. is wasted. Everything is economically perfect.

Two geniuses in an ingenious collaboration. I hope to see more of this. For those of you maybe not familiar with Eva's work, read her. She is probably the best young poet to emerge in the last decade. It's why Charlie Kaufman is working with her. Google her poem "38 Michigans". You'll find it immediately and then you'll know.

His dialogue sucks. When your dialogue sucks you gotta become a narrative genius to make watchable films. Narration when your dialogue sucks is like setting yourself on fire.

Cortometraje pretensioso y aburrido.
