She doesn’t need a buff really. Her kit has supportive utility and buffing so she already is more future proof than jinshi

According to ingame data, it says that Changli is a Main Damage Dealer (DPS) she will get buffed for sure otherwise expect some drama from CN players (hopefully) cuz they did changli so fucking bad.
I’ll probably pull for Changli her gameplay look fast and fun. For some reason, she also reminds me of my main in League of Legends, Irelia.

Same here, I didn't think of magistrates as being archons either! But I am going to try and pull every 'dragon' character in this game (I already have Jiyan and Mortefi) because I like dragons. And since Jiyan represents the Teal Dragon, I'm hoping there are other characters representing the other directions (White Tiger, Vermillion Bird, Black Tortoise) so I can get them too.

Honestly this might be the first time ever I’m going to be most likely spending money in a gacha type game. I love this game so much and am so hyped for the future content that I kind of just want to support the creators. I also just want to feel like a badass with these upcoming characters
hey cj you said on stream that pulling for jinhsi's weapon for calcharo and not pulling for her is a bad idea. can you explain why?
It would have been helpful to disclose what Jihnsi's weapon even has stat wise, but also if theres value for your calcharo to pull if you're skipping Jihnsi.

Hey boss, you seem to be pretty vocal in the comment section, so I hope you don't mind if I run smth by you. I'm a big Calcharo fan, and it seems you are too lol, but I would be lying if I said that some of Calcharo's scaling didn't bother me, specifically his second inherent skill and his 2nd, 4th, and 5th sequences. They react really poorly with his kit, but I actually have some really clean ideas on easy ways to fix him imo. I think if they gave Calcharo a slightly higher, maybe 20% - 30% damage reduction as well as immunity to interruption, I think his second inherent skill would be i a pretty decent position, allowing Calcharo to tank through his ult with bell-borne, and consistently get off his full damage, as long as he gets a heal after. His second sequence can be fixed by changing the damage type to res lib, his 4th sequence should trigger on intro instead of outro, like Jiyan, to better fit his identity as a main dps, instead of having a random sub dps sequence. Lastly his 5th sequence should trigger on outro instead of intro because it does a lot more damage, and scales with attack which Calcharo builds, instead of skill damage, which Calcharo doesn't build. Lmk what you think, and if you agree, I'd love to see a video or smth abt this to bring it more attention. Ik hes a standard 5 star, but theres no reason that his scaling should fit his playstyle this poorly, and frankly he's the only one who has this issue. Its a slim chance anything happens, but Kuro seems to be listening to the community, so maybe something will happen if people are loud enough. Hello bro as a fellow calcharo main i really appreciate this post and i agree with you on this, calcharo seems to be the only unit they've done so dirty in his scaling, inherit skill and even res chain, i might do a video on this later down the line, the problem is kuro purposely nerfed our boy before release to make jiyan more appealing to summon, currently despite hus clunky 2nd inherent skill and res he pairs his damage to all other standard unit dps so im sure they are fine leaving him like thos but i do agree with your ideas for improving him
If he is all good, he ain't in the standard banner. Lingyang's sequence are way worse than Calcharo's.

Ik he got some numbers nerfed b4 release, but I do genuinely feel that smaller numbers to keep his power in check don’t have to mean that he gets sequences that he can’t use at all. If they’re lower numbers fine, but it still hurts to see a complete lack of reward in investment. I’ll be looking forward to the vid tho! Maybe other content creators will agree and speak up. I honestly like Changli. Her art is beautiful. When I found out about her weapon was Attack % from leaks, I was kind of disappointed, and hoping it wasn't true, that she's might not gonna be a main DPS. Having this disappointment, I didn't care, I just save up and skip all banners and have her all 6 with her rerun banner. I need her to be my main DPS. 🌸Hopefully, this weapon buff is honestly true.

Question do you know if she will still need a coordinated atk for her stacks at s2? Or will she still need a yinlin/mort etc even at s2?
ideally a coordinated attacker will help build stacks a lot faster

Jinhsi+Yinlin might be the Strongest combo in 1.1. Also take this with grain of salt, but some people say CN guy calcs that Jinhsi without the buff is worse then Jiyan (both with their own weapon), so i think she will not blow everyone out of in terms of DPS number without her weapon
Ive also seen that Jinshi’s resonance lib deals more damage than HRover which is insane if true

Just little bit information that, Majority her Dmg still coming from Skill Even know Her ult hit harder than Havoc rover (assuming you got atleast half her 50 stack, which not that hard). This also why i said take it with grain of salt Because even im not truly believing it that she is worse than jiyan before buff Lol
Jinshi is overhyped imo. She may be the best dps on release but she’ll be powercrept pretty soon

Does not need energy on outro and that stack mechanics make her pretty flexible on teams comp. For example she is pretty good with some Dps who can rotate pretty fast or cancel like Encore and Changli.
Secondly, She still does not has Her BIS yet. Yinlin is good option for her but she is Her BIS because we don't have any other option. If there is someone who like YInlin But her outro give Spectro deepen then Her celling will become much Higher.
If you know HSR, she is pretty much Dhil but more flexible. Both does not has Their best Support when released

Magistrate's weapon is stacked, her incandescence is buffed even more, her liberation is at 1100%+ multiplier at lv6, now couple that with an S5 which is another 120% dmg increase on liberation. Wtf
But I'm still eyeing Makima, ehhk, Changli (that def ignore sure is interesting)

sub stats have low rolls mid rolls and high rolls yes, so for example if u get a sub stat of crit rate, u can get a low roll of 6.3 crit rate or u can get a high roll of 10.5 crit rate for example

people are confused, they think the stats changed, the stats remained the same on jinhsis weapon, the only thing that changed was the way the passive worked which i mentioned in 2:44 other than the passive rework the weapon remains the same having crit rate as a main stat

I would recommend: Jinshi, Spectro Rover and Verina
Or
Jinshi, Spectro Rover and Jiaxin.
Spectro Rover being the sub-Dps.
But it's really your choice. At the end of the day I can see some people playing Jinshi, Jiyan/Yinlin and Havoc Rover together cause it's a skill based game 🎉

Depends what you mean by future proof. Will she be the best? Absolutely Not. She’s a dps. Will she still be good? Of course. But she won’t be the best dps for a while. On release she’ll be the best, but the next few dps will absolutely be stronger.

Crit rate weapons are more valuable than crit dmg especially in this game where the max crit rate possible that you can get only by echoes is 72 but all the rolls have to be maxed so that's not realistic, the average will be betwen 50 and 60 wich is really bad for a dps, in Genshin you can build insane characters without crit weapons but here it wont be possible unfortunately, that's why 5 star weapons are guaranteed
Yes and no, just like any game the ideal crit ratio scaling is going to be 1 to 2, 1 critrate for every 2 crit dmg. That means yes crit rate is valuable, however having 65 crit rate and 230 crit dmg (1 to 2) will outperform 85 crit rate and 190 crit dmg. Also they are clearly pushing for players to spend and get her s2 which gives 25 crit rate. In terms of early game crit rate will outrperform but towards endgame when we are min maxing a few months in, they will perform equally

@@Mordred_King Lol no it's not a community take, it's literally a principal in mathematics of diminishing returns 😂 it just means you want evely distributed stats for the optimal dps gain, so you want even amounts of crit rate and damage, making both stats inherently equal in value

God I want both but My F2P sorry self can only get 1 so Changli will be coming home (waifu always wins 😂), but it’s hard as I always had to go for units that have “archon” type roles (similar to the game who shall not be named😊).
