Just played the game. When I was outside Jinzhou, there are soldier NPCs patrolling perimeters, and would battle monsters if they see em. Details like this about the NPCs really increase the immersion.
I would like to write an honoration mention to the Chad NPC that throw his sword at the DT monster at "Saving Light" cinematic. Even if the battle seemed hopeless, he still fought to the end. That dude is the goat. 👏
I'm pretty sure Taoqi is a muscular woman, besides, she swings that damn sword like it was a *_light weight,_* so she is BOUND to have them *_M U S C L E S_*
I love a vid I saw where there is an outcast npc doing sit up and taking damage every time he does, when he’s tired and lies on the ground he restores hp lol. Also another outcast npc girl cheering for him from a distance is icing on cake 😂
Genshin literally puts 0 effort into their npc designs, every character that matters looks like a stand user in the crowd compared to their surroundings 💀

Ya know it’s funny but Calcharo was also supposed to be an npc as well but the players wanted him playable so bad they made him playable. By this logic it’s entirely possible that “that” specific npc could very easily be playable one day.

the part I liked the most was when I realized that the soldier NPCs in the Whetering Wave sometimes attacked the bandit NPCs, it was very realistic and surprising when I first saw it Menwhile in other games was like: "Ey bro, can you help us clean the bandit over there? Here the quest" *Then just standing there, without moving a leg*

You voiced my thoughts about the Jianzhou fashion trends perfectly! Many people have argued the characters don't feel outstanding and look like NPCs but the NPCs look amazing and considering the setting and that most of these characters are from the same place it always made sense to me they would share aspects in their clothing to reflect the trends, they all have shown to have their own personal style each, and that's for both the npcs and the playables. Amazing video as always!
They really are kind of ridiculous with that claim. Like, my guy, I think you mean the NPCs look like they could be playable characters. Which is usually considered high praise for this type of game.
my favorite npcs are the panda ones like look at them. they've got the coolest outfits and hats for delivery people? i bet when fanartists draw them people would think they're playable too

Meanwhile, Genshin NPC's: same faces, different hairstyle/clothing. I love how in WuWa you can't tell who is an NPC, or a future playable character. In Genshin, you can tell from a quick glance.
If I don't see one of the NPCs toss their sword and ricochet it in between enemies, like that guy in Saving Light, in any of the cutscene or any upcoming cutscenes im the future, I will commit Terrapod.

UA-cam is filled to the brim with low-quality clickbait "guides", tier lists and other nonsense that is based on potentially outdated data from CBT2. Its refreshing seeing someone actually come up with a unique video idea and execute it so well.
I love how their bears also fight each other and npcs shooting enemies to keep it away from their border, the only thing genshin cannot improve but eat up storage
the first time i saw those couriers and their base, it's reminds me to Death Stranding's Bridges couriers since they share a some similarities being a courier in a post apocalyptic world and have to be aware and ready for any encounters with dangers like monsters or even hostile humans
The amount of details you've paid to the NPC character designs is amazing! I've been playing the game from its release and I have really enjoyed how dynamic and alive the world in game feels, thank you for the great video!
One thing I realized was that all child NPCs use the same animations while walking, regardless of being a boy or a girl. You can easily tell if you have Encore or Verina. Toggle walking mode on and walk alongside a child NPC. All of them use the same "arms pointing to the sides diagonally with wide swings" girly walk.
While just exploring around, I loved how different factions go around and fight each other!! Like I can see Midnight rangers fighting exiles during their patrol and it just makes me even more immersed into the world!!
The fact that you can put Jiyan and Yhan side-by-side and not look out of place feels so good, it's like they are really in the same universe. I love Kuro Games and I hope they don't end up in the rabbit hole like the Genshin dev team.

what i like about this instead of like genshin, the npc soldiers actually fight and this is not limited to the soldiers. some of the monsters will fight eachother just randomly like irl. sets the world apart.
I do love, Alto isn't from Jizhou. So his design stands out, for being a good bit different in style. But at the same time, it still holds similar design features.
newer gacha games are really stepping up their NPC game. wuwa as you have shown have some unique npcs and i love how lively their eyes are. it's very important to sell emotions. HSR has a whole ass crowd system so in big cities you can see dozens of people doing their own things from dancing to throwing up to taking selfies. and ZZZ tbh is mind-blowing. you can literally see npcs scrolling through social media and play games on their phones lmao. insane amount of details in that game. 😂
