I’m interested in trying this but let’s say after the cutout process I want to go back in to set stones how can this be done? The clay gets hard from the glue so how can you soften it up again to set stones?
Can you do this with polymer clay as well?
hi I have a Circut air 2, can you advise me on the machine settings? I need to cut out some shapes. How many times to cut for 3, 4 and 5 card thick clay please? Blade or scoring tool? thanks
Hi Kizzywitch it will depend on what the design is and what you are cutting and the clay you are using if you can go to facebook.com/groups/CricutWithMetalClay/ you can ask more and post the kind of design you want to use
I am using sterling silver flex clay, 3 cards thick, don't have a photo, its just some ideas I want to try out, one of them is like a 1.5 nice circle with leaves (filigree) design cut out

after using the glue how was the process of firing the clay?
is it safe using that glue technique?
is this only for a specific brand of metal clay?
would it work with silver metal clay as well?
can you show a full tutorial from start to finish of how you make the actual metal piece. I would love to see it.
