- How to level up fast (level max all classes) in Phantasy Star Online 2 (PSO2) NA. This video goes over the various methods I was able to reach level cap in Phantasy Star Online 2 (PSO2) NA open beta. I can't exactly recall the exact hours it took for me to reach level cap in the Phantasy Star Online 2 NA open beta as I was afk at times, but it was definitely around 200 hours or so. In this Phantasy Star Online 2 how to video I demonstrate the same VHAQ (Very Hard Advance Quests) that helped me reach level cap along with the various XP boost that are available that you may not know in PSO2.
When you start/look for parties for VHAQ's, make sure you're able to run them on threat level 50 as this increases drops, rare monsters and more. I'm glad to be back making Phantasy Star Online 2 videos finally and I hope you are enjoying the open beta as much as I am! :D

Something you touched on was the Cross Burst and most people dont know this but if you get a CB you automatically get a One More at the end of the timer.

I have been doing vhaq with me my bro and cuz it's fast at leveling I have about 5 classes at 75 😊 just still takes forever lol
But it says it requires lvl 50+? What did you guys do pre Vhaq? Just dailies?

Just started playing. Is it required to level all of the classes? Or can you get by with one or two?
Nope! You can get by with two tbh. You’re going to want to make sure your subclass is also at level max (currently at 75 for NA). However, for every character at 75 you get a passive stat boost that makes it worth it especially later when you’re planning on min-maxing. Once more content is released however they make leveling a lot easier, just currently in NA this is the fastest way atm

You will want to level at least three classes to 75, one of each type (striking, gunner, and techer). Successor classes will be coming in future updates that require you to do this, and those classes are extremely powerful when they come out. They're called Hero, Phantom, and Etoile.
So you can look very similar to Kite in this game, now THAT is good to know.
No wonder I never get good drops because I'm always alone with no npcs or playing with 3 npcs.. people are dicks in this game and dont play with u because you dont know how to play. Its like Sorry I havent been playing the game for the past 8 years and now 8 years later I'm still playing like a smuck.
When I was doing my all 75 run I was running summoner as a main class and they have a perk in the tree that allows subclasses to get more xp than normal. So I was running summoner and got 3 subclasses to 55 before I hit 75 as a summoner. Nice way to cut all your grind in half 😃
I know this is a month out, but I was wondering which pet you used for speed clearing AQ's I am an up and coming summoner myself!

That's a great character, love the .hack series. I have the closest thing to Haseo(female) as I never thought to do Kite. Im new to PSO2 and its very reminiscent of my favorite game .hack.

Good video brotha!! Only thing i would add to this is if you guys want even more xp (may, may not work just a thought) can use summoner class to lv up the other class via sub classes...summoner has a perk that doubles xp for subs
This is 100% facts! For my time leveling I usually had my main class and the next class I plan to level as my sub.
As someone who played in JP, this was a pretty well guide to how you level in pso2. I will say something people use during AQ pse burst is the following strat:
(This strat works for any AQ stage and should be done around either in the first or second map when a pse burst happens)
1) Once the pse burst happens drop a teleport to the ship and have 3 of the 4 party members go into the pipe
2) have the last person(like a runner) go to the next stage of the AQ
3) once they have reach that area you can then let the 3 people on the ship comeback (MAKE SURE THAT THEY COME TO THE STAGE THE RUNNER IS ON)
4) all of you go back to the stage where the pse burst is on then do as you would any pse burst and chain/kill units
This will allow you to spawn all mobs in that area to the exit and you still keep your burst so it's quicker than having to group around a awkward terrain.
A few things to note:
You should coordinate with your party to do this so everyone can understand the strat or it might not work
The runner should be someone who is playing a fast moving class like Braver
Finally you should know sometimes instead of doing this strat you can just have your party run close the exit of the stage, That way it's easier to get the mobs but it won't result in something like the pse burst be lost due to the runner being too slow/can't find the exit.

@@STIR-FRIED-SUBWAY-RAT the game is 8 years old. I doubt you need a gaming pc. a regular should work just fine if you do have a PC at all.

Game spawned in one of those Falz Angels. Those things kept one shooting me. Had to give up since I couldn't run as it will pursue you tirelessly.

@@CodySlippin I've noticed an increase in aggression as the difficulty levels go up. Used to only do its charge and blast move, as well as that chunk crystal spikes move, only once a turn.
Now it does it multiple times in a row -_-
Falz angel is a BITCH to kill on super hard in the advance quest I gave up after 10 minutes and 7 scrape dolls

VHAQ is better in terms of exp/hp ratio of enemies. At JP server you can exchange 1 excubes to get 1 3 day Quarter pass, 5 3 day Quarter pass for 1 blue badge, and you can exchange 1 blue badge for 1 triboost 100% so basically you can get 1 triboost 100% for 5 excubes. Not sure about NA but i think try seeing the badge shop and recycle shop 2 for it.
Also exchange your photon sphere at photon shop for Exp boost 75%, Exp boost/Rare Drop Rate Boost/Triboost all stacks together.
It's a shame we can't use the AC shop if we're not in NA. But I've been not using any of the EXP boosts I've been receiving from the Story Quests, so I'm not completely SOL.
90% of the time my PSE burst spawn a pitiful amount of mobs. Whether I am in a group or not. Then it will extend because my group killed the small amount of mobs so soon.
A lot of times on burst I am just standing around waiting for the clock to run out.

Mags don't affect your burst. Only getting another PSE to lvl 8 affects the cross burst.

So, here's my question, what about your MAG? It seems like you have multiples throughout the video, which would make sense based on the class you're leveling at that time. Maybe I haven't gotten far enough in yet but how did you get multiple MAGs? Are they random drops like they are in some of the old PSO games?
Hey Victus! Unfortunately the only way I’m aware to get multiple mags right now is through the AC Shop for 300 AC ($3 dollars). If you’re only going to keep one, I recommend just leveling your mag based on the class you see yourself most likely playing at the end game.

I love your video so much. It's so helpful, especially to returning players from JP like me.
With pse bursts, 'One more' is completely rng based, not baded on mag chaining. Mag chaining will help continue the pse though because youll kill a lot of enemies quickly if you have the right photon blasts. Julius nifta is usually recommended to have since it pulls in mobs for a few seconds with a black hole effect. Julius proi is also nice because it has julius attack mobs that youre targetting for a time. ALSO. In vhaqs, always try to get into a corner of the map if youre group has launchers. Youll get max cross boost pretty easily with that method. One last thint, getting another pse boost to one that's capped at lv8 will add 10 seconds onto the pse burst, and once cross boosted, itll add 20 seconds. Thats the ideal way to maintain a pse burst or cross burst. Just get the cross burst, then continue to get those +20 second duration.

im interested in playing this game if they have a PC release. i was following you just fine up until the "burst" part. then things got complicated and i had no idea what you were talking about. i assume its easy to get through the first 50 levels or so just playing the main storyline?

Hello, I have a question. You seem to be using a Katana, even though whenever you show your status screen it says you're a Ranger/Fighter. Were you using a different class when you were in battle? It looked pretty cool. I was also wondering what kind of layering wear you have because it looks cool.

dude, tbh right when I hit the Dpad I just be clicking 'A' to confirm. I know some people set up chat macros to switch between different bars.

protip from a player in jp. by any chance save your tri 100s for farming drop only weps in which NA will also have. id suggest using exp boost + daily boost + alliance/team boost

The problem with that is you going to waste your time because you're not going to get any loot you have to decide of experience or loot experience you're broke or did you choose experience and loot you level up and you get money
You make a ton of money along the way, most of the loot you get even on VH are valuable PA’s that can be sold on the player shops.
I just trying to see if it's true or not but I got a good team and we tried our one and we tried the other one we do it on the same time and actually we have to Silver Wolf spawning on very hard and the loot was really crap and we have the all the boost an max was 800k exp it was really really crap
And you have to realize that not everybody have premium

I’m gonna be honest there’s only 2 vhaqs you should run ruins and city they are by far the best ones used to level. Also it’s not about how fast you complete the mission it’s about getting really good pse bursts that’s how you level fast. You also have to add 50 risk that is a mandatory thing. Also always have a party of 4 you get more exp. If you have any more questions you can ask, coming from a ex jp player with over 15k hours in the game.

Up to Lv75 is easy, after that, the EXP requirement is ridiculous and just plain outrageous starting at Lv80. I'm guessing that you guys don't have Bonus quests yet since you don't have EP4, but it will get easier with those.

Got a little different question. After seeing your gameplay footage, I was a bit shocked to see how fast everything is. I'm playing a hunter currently and that's nowhere near the speed you have. Is this what the game looks like at higher levels or is your class just that fast? Seems kinda stressful.
thats new for me..using mags chain to trig cross burst..but i know you will need 2 or more lv8 burst buff to trigger cross burst. you also forgot to tell that its better to have MPA or atleast 2 in party for burst effective..if your a lone player generally speaking without other players in the map.pse burst is just like a nothing..

Awesome video! I jump in a VHAQ just myself (summoner) and an auxiliary. I triggered a PSE Burst then a Crossover Burst and it kept on and on! I don't know what I was doing to keep it but I had an insanely powerful pet that was killing mobs of enemies with an AOE Photon Art Skill. I didn't realize it but I was ranking up fast. I wanted it to end as I had the Boss on my mind but now after watching your video I want to go back and try to repeat what I did!

When I started a new charter I did the mining and fishing got a fever and levelled up from 4 to 7
tbh I wish pse bursts were just a little easier to cause, I only have one friend I enjoy on and they're so fun to do, and great for exp

i swear this game AND its entire community is doing everything it can to try to put off any new players by over-complicating any and everything they can (including the UI and menus which are atrocious)
I mean, you're looking at a video about maxing all classes so you should know all that stuff. The PSE burt/Mag/Mag chaining are all explained in the first quests that the game points you to. If you read the info you would know, the UI is old and dated but there's enough information inside the game telling you how those systems work.

bro, try checking "Blue ARKS Badge" exchange on below Franka's cafe entrance there's "Badge & Memory Shop Nanon", back in SEA(dead) and JP I use this method for exchanging "5 Excubes > 5 3 days room use > 1 blue arks badge" on "Excube Shop Attendant Nysa", is it still available on NA? if it's available u can use this for 100 triboost exchange, I know excubes is still a precious item on NA, but u can sacrifice some for it, worth the sacrifice, hope u like it, and hey when the merge comes in the future I'm looking forward to play with u, peace out

What about soloing? There's a lot of people, including me, that likes soloing more because of various reasons. Should we still just rotate VHAQs?
Also, what's your priority in items? 'cause lotsa PAs and Rare drops on the ground you're not picking up in video.

I might have missed it in the video if it was already mentioned, but what level did you try to get to before doing these? I assume you weren't starting VHAQs at level 5 in each class?
there are other ways to level until lvl 40/you can do this properly
Quick question:
Does having same main class and subclass get more exp?
Ex: Main Class is Hunter and your Subclass is Hunter
You cant have the same main and subclass so no you cant get extra exp form have the same main and sub if you only have one class you probably not a high enough level to have a sub class or you havent talked to the dude to get your sub
8:02 is something I wish more people were aware of. The fact you can crossover burst the next zone too. Most people stay in 1 zone even when nothing is left.
Lol ive been using this method solo as its hard to find a group willing to do these VHAQs despite it being peak hours. Do them with healing NPCs.
how has your exp been? Its been hard to find people who want to run multiple VHAQs and im thinking solo might be the way. Im wondering how much slower it is to hit 75 solo
I'd like to suggest an "exit Burst" oe "entrance burst". When you're in the cell that the exit/entrance it is, enemies won't spawn.

I don't mind the grind but going from using all ranged weapons to melee weapons was a tough adjustment for me
You can have your subclass as melee (Hunter, beaver, etc) and still use their respective weapons.

Recommended to lvlup your char if there is an exp buff event, if there's not, just play the urgent mission for lvling.
Usually an exp buff event always happens 1 day before weekly reset. Im playing jp, but it should be the same for NA
