I have been talking to people and watching videos on how to affix or how to get better as I have a little bit of an idea on what Im doing regarding affixing. But this made it so CRYSTAL CLEAR compared to so many videos, and I loved how you progressed through the video it is clear and not too fast in terms of pace of the video.
I don’t personally play this game yet, since iirc the NA PS4 release isn’t for some time, but I UA-camr I enjoy plays this a lot, so any content I find on this game is great. This video is super well paced btw, definitely a great guide

I'm just still paralyzed to even attempt this yet since i don't know the best augments, I basically main Bouncer/Hunter & Braver/Hunter I was just gonna wait til August when season 4 drops, but this video has me wanting to dive in.
Affixing is daunting man, weapons are the easiest. Start there and get a feel for it. Until Episode 4 when a lot of the weapons drop off Yamato and then Beginning of Episode 5, start with 5-6 slot Augmenting, no need to go higher yet
Geez dude, THANK YOU for this. I've had the hardest time trying to sort this out in my dumb dumb brain. The biggest part I kept forgetting was that the affix numbers have to match.

All weapons have to me +35 for Augmenting, thats when their special abilities get unlocked. Also saw your other comment, the Katanas are another weapon I spent the star gems for to turn it into a camo for my Nemesis
honestly, If I had to give you any advice, is that you shouldn't worry about astral soul on units right now. If you want to because you're bored with tons of meseta? sure, go for it. But honestly it will only lead you to a TON of heartbreak and tribulation. Settle for simple atm is all I'm gonna recommend. It's not worth it.
doing the arkuma slots daily in your arks missons menu under the limited-time missions tab will unlock another daily asking you to win a game of black nyak in the casino. This rewards 30 glory badges which trade 1:1 for rising 2 weapon badges. So if you use your 3 character slots you get for free you can get 90 badges a day from this daily alone.
To my recollection - only if the items are the same as the base item. Left it out of the explanation since this is a super rare thing to do from my experience and not easy to do for new comers
One question to clear them all, I hope you answer. When affixing, you're aiming to get level 35 perks from weapons? Is that how people get crazy numbers? Also, because they are 100% affix rate, affixing those special perks means it's a no brainer, right? I lied, here's another question! The way you manage to keep the perks you want is because you're searching weapons with affixes like Might III and whatnot, but how do you get a weapon with similar affixes so you don't end up using 100 units to match the affixes u want? For example, if I have a Unit that has Might III , A soul, Stamina III and uuuh... Arks Fever. Do I need to find an identical unit to match it with?
If you’re upslotting then they are not a 100% affix rate, however yeah. Thats pretty much what it is for weapons. Now for Units - lets say you have 1 Unit with Might III and Arks Fever, you’ll need at least 4 other fodder that make sure you have 3 Might IIIs or Arks Fever (For Arks Max) in the pool. they dont have to be “identical units”
@@Kaoiji One more question, if I may. What if I have, for example, a 6 slot item, both items have the exact same affixes, but one of them fails. Do I loose a slot? Or what happens to that skill that failed?

Is there a benefit to this? Or is it better to have an 8 slot item to start with? Like, would it best best to start with a 1-3 slot weapon and move up from there? Or start with an weapon that has more slots and downslot from there?
Too poor ingame to even consider this, but my brain hurts regardless. Even the best f2p shoot looty has to have something awful about it and here it is..

Been away from making clear guides but we’re back. Just catching up to the PSO2 grind to do so!

So what do technique/pp augment support items do? I can't find a good explanation as to their use.
They give you 30 TECH 3 PP if I recall, then the other ones are 40 Tech 4 PP

dont you need a soul receptor to move a soul to a wepon?
If you’re using Augment Factors (Special Ability Factors) from weapons, then no. Otherwise, for units you need 3 souls or 1 Soul and Soul Receptor

For getting the units at least, convert the Glory Badge 2020 from the event into Rising Weapon Badge

You lose the slot when you fail the affix 🙃
