Thank you for explaining so well. I have never played the original Pandemic and this version is my first purchase. You were very clear for a 1st time player!
This is a great video, I just discovered board gaming on heard pandemic would be a good place to start. Decided to try Iberia because it was cheapest and played my first few rounds last night.
We were so confused, so i jumped onto youtube and found this video.

15:30 - you discarded the other 2 black cards that were in "Jen's" hand.
At 15:32, he accidentally puts Jen's hand of two black cards into the discard pile.
he got them back a few seconds later
13:07 Not sure if this is a goof, but I would assume the outbreak also travels along dashed lines? Otherwise Mallorca seems like it's not very relevant.
Also I love the videos you were the one who got me to get pandemic which I am obsessed with now
Cameron Lemermeyer have you played Pandemic Legacy? If not you should try it. It's a standalone Pandemic and it's essentially a onetime play thru game. You have blind boxes you open and stickers you place on the board depending on how play progresses.
It's a pretty neat take on the game.

At 15:30 rahdo puts jens cards in the discard pile she didn't use. Not a big game changer but minus two cards she could of used later
he got them back a few seconds later

I don't think Girona is a port city, but you move there by ship.
At 13:28, shouldn't the outbreak have also sent a cube to the island via the connection with the dashed line?
I know those connections can't have railroads built along them, but if there's a special rule for them to also not spread outbreaks, I would expect that to be pointed out... rather than just not placing a cube which is what I'd expect if he forgot.

Thank you for this play though. I am playing the game at the moment with family. We are really enjoying it but we are sure we are making mistakes. Will watch your extended play-through now for information about the role of hospitals. There are certainly a few steps we have not been doing. Oops!
yup, we all make goofs, and you're right that i forgot to draw infection cards at the end of jen's turn. be sure to watch all my videos with klingon subtitles turned on because the mistakes i've made while filming are listed there :)
Is it just me, or does the lady on the box cover look quite a bit like Jen (with darker hair)?

Definitely. He moved them away from the north city because they were in the way of the view of the infection rate track.
At 13:46 I think you forgot about the outbreak chain reaction
what chain reaction? He spreaded a Yellow cube to all connected cites with exception of Mallorca that he forgot but was already noted on the Klingon Subtitles but neither Mallorca or any of the cities that received an Yellow cube from the outbreak would also outbreak, so there's no outbreak chain reaction
I was looking for a good gateway game into modern non-party board games for me and my girlfriend. We’re interested in co-op and a game that offers good replayability. So far I’m undecided between Aeon’s End, Pandemic Iberia and Legends of Andor. What’s your recommendation?
i see you posted this on the rahdo guild and have gotten a lot of good feedback there, but i'll just add that andor is a punishingly hard game, so it can be daunting as a first step if that would put you off. aeon's end is fairly complex, unless you get the Aeon's End Legacy version, which is *perfect* as a gateway. Iberia adds a lot of complexity to regular Pandemic, and I think regular Pandemic is the better choice as a gateway...

At 10:28 you played the card of Cuenca but you travelled to Girona.
Like Richard explained this works differently from the regular pandemic... when you are in a Port city you can discard any card of a color to go to any Port city of that color... the travel by plane action doesn't exist in this game because there were no planes at the time
Do you still draw two cards at the beginning of each of your turns like in normal Pandemic?
I noticed on Richard's first turn he didn't. which is why I asked.
While this is Pandemic it is a bit different so it may not run quite the same. And I'm not FULLY thru the video yet. I just wanted to inquire before I forgot.
well, in regular pandemic (and pandemic iberia) you draw 2 cards at the end of your turn, not the beginning :)

Albufeira...... The capital of Algarve is Faro, not Albufeira!... A 1 min research could avoid this... (I'm refering to the BOARD itself! Not rahdos video)
Honestly, words and names tend to run together when you have zero familiarity with a language. Watching the first minute of the video could would have prevented comments like these.
The name is wrong in the game! Look at the board... Thinking for 1 minute could also avoid comments like these... Go check the board.
i don't understand. the game doesn't necessarily show the capitals of all regions. are you saying that in 1850 albufeira didn't exist and shouldn't be on the map at all? i just checked and wikipedia says it did exist at the time. i assume they chose albufeira instead of faro was because maybe they were going for the feel of researching heading out to small communities where disease started as there wasn't as much infrastructure there to fight it. or heck, maybe it's the hometown of the designer (who is portugese and did a lot of historical research for the game) :)
I understand what you are saying but, at the time, albufeira was a little insignificant fishing village. Even today, the hospital is in Faro! There is no hospital i Albufeira. Albufeira grew in the 1960s because of turism and it is well know because of it, nothing else. It had 0 importance at the period this game portrays, that's all. Oh and Jesus Torres Castro is spanish (not portuguese) so I'm not surprised with the error...
