Great interview! Time flew by listening to it. Didn’t feel like 1.5 hours at all. Wish he talked a bit more about how it was like fighting Bertebiev though.

38:39 stop tell lie @Rilz... On paper, Buatsi is blatantly more proven. Even though Yarde has stepped up against bigger oppz, he unfortunately lost the fights. His best win is a rematch vs Arthur. If it was based on courage, then Yarde is ahead hands down, but on resume, I'm afraid it Buatsi.

Frank warren did a amazing job with someone with limit experience to get him to where he is… it’s a shame what’s happening right now. Viddal should have gone with Queensbury they would have done a much better job than boxxer…

Didn’t he get offered more money to step aside for Canelo to fight Kovalev first ?
@@lekanosagie He says so. But that was a fraction of the $4m he claimed he got to fight Kovalev for the title. Had Kovalev lost to Canelo, Yarde wasn't getting that $4m to fight Kovalev. And there was no guarantee he was getting Canelo.
Besides that's not the point Yarde makes in the video. He makes no reference to the step-aside offer. He's insinuating to prospect would have taken the Kovalev fight. Of course they would - FOR $4 MILLION.

Yarde’s perception of his ability doesn’t align with his actual ability. Essentially he is a good, but not exceptional… Also he needs to separate business and pleasure, Tunde being an amazing friend and supportive doesn’t mean he is the best coach for him. Most of the G.O.A.Ts have at some part in time moved on from their first coaches

Yarde is my favourite UK fighter but it’s frustrating that he hasn’t won a world title, sadly I blame his trainer Tunde. If Yarde left him after his lost to Kovalev then I 💯 believe he would of won a world title as he’s blessed with amazing talent..

He didn’t give beterbiev his hardest fight😭😭 Yarde had to spit out his mouth piece twice and the ref kept pulling his body guard down coz he kept pulling it up to about those body shots but it didn’t work then his coach had to step in. That’s one thing I hate about boxing

Yarde is the perfect example of wasted talent and the perfect how not to manage a boxer. Firstly, he needs to change trainers and move to an established gym and trainer in the USA. Secondly, he needs to get a better promoter/manager than frank who has done nothing but unnecessarily fed him to monsters. The very fact that he turned down a mil step aside with the guarantee of fighting the winner between Kovalev and Canelo shows how badly managed he is. Even if it was a forgone conclusion he’d beat Kovalev he should have taken the money, step aside then fight the winner. Anybody with one brain cell would know that’s the smartest thing to do. Instead he chose to do the dumbest thing ever and wound up losing to Kovalev as well. Then persists with a limited trainer. If Tunde were his friend, Tunde would either let him go to a better trainer or go with him to the states and both of them learn something and progress his career. Instead, if he is not careful, he’s is danger of turning into a journeyman very soon. Father Time is unbeaten so far and every year goes by Yarde gets worse, not better.
