And those two in the thumbnail?
HiTech Central
What's the name of the 2 machetes on the vidéo picture please ?
WastelandWanderer 76 those are Fox Knives Kukris. They are made from n690 Steel, which is extremely resistant to moisture. Tanto is FX9CMO5T (also available in bronzed finish w/green handle) and the drop point is FX9CMO4T.
I went with the Tanto tip as it’s stronger for prying/puncturing. Handle is great, no hot spots with heavy use. Blade is very resilient, but I recommend a WorkSharp to sharpen it.

If you’re depending on any of these to survive, you’re going to have a bad time.
Spend the money on a quality blade. The Kailash Blades “Knout” is one of the most impressive survival choppers I’ve ever seen (and I am a collector of fairly high end stuff). Jorge Sprave does a full review.
I have a gerber and im not going to lie for a 20$ machete its perfect! Thin & light making it great for extended use. It blade holds an edge that lasts for almost a good year depending on how much you use it & what you're using it on.
I don’t know who designed the Marine Kukri, but the sure made a mess out of a superb knife.
So where is the kukri in the thumbnail? I definitely didn't see it unless I'm mistaken. Tempted to call this one clickbait
The kukri in the thumbnail is in the thumbnail :) Unfortunately this was the best picture that I could find. Thanks for watching!
Check out Fox Knives. They are Italian, but distribute their knives all over the world.
@@HiTechCentralPage fuck you and your click bait :)
@@HiTechCentralPage what brand is the one in the thumbnail?
Thumbnail blade
I couldnt find it on Fox Blades. I'm forging my own. Reminds my of the Far Cry 4 kukri.

just remember knives, never run out of ammo. A Good blade, never needs reloading
Indeed
What I like about this knife is that it’s just like the other 200000 cheap ass machetes that use a saw to cheaply make it look better
Sem palavras. Tecnologia e bom gosto em tudo. Parabéns
Best of the best video iv ever seen on utube.Amazing demo of difrent weapons.Great job sir.HATS OFF👌🏻
Some of the best Serial killer Equipment in the world. Thanks
Think I'll just stick with my good old trusty Hatchet👍
Sogfari(something that has similarity functions with it) are great basicaly from it's dual functions,it can be a good handsaw...No need to carry a fold handsaw anymore,it can save few space in our bag
I am from India , and I love kukri
Beautiful, and used by brave gorkha regiment 👍😊
Seen most of these but great video nonetheless! They are all so kyute!
7:47 sounds like my Saturday night!
Think I'll stick with my Fiskars EA-1116 needs a bit of sharpening but cuts fine👍
I might be called an idiot for spending a lot for a ColdSteel Kukri... But its thick, durable, heavy and holds an edge longer than other machetes I used to own. The process of San Mai in the ColdSteel is the best I've used. Having a machete too sharp out of the box can fold the edge of the blade like the Gerber models I've used in the past. I use my kukri on Mesquite and can go through it easier than I saw the advertised machetes trying to go through pine.

which holds a better edge longer, 1085 or 3cr13?
*2:50** Why in tf would you need to reach up to clear a path??? Seems excessive...*
I was thinking maybe if it were a branch over a gap that you couldn't reach but you have to jump or something
good point
I have the 1st one mentioned..the Gerber but mine is a bit shorter..but a outstanding knife..I've used it for years and still in the armory on stand by..it's the only bush knife I have used and used and still ended up almost cutting my thumb off..I was cutting saplings that have out of this world swirls through out there lengths .. cleaning off the tops and the blade ricochet from a upward swing and out and away from myself..it some how deflect'd down straight through the top of my left hand thumb..so fast I seen white bone and closed it up and no blood yet..mind u I was 1/4..1/2 mile out of from the truck on foot..stayed calm ..held it tight..kept it up over me head..made to truck..drove to ER.. stitched up..point is that knife has been through hell and back..and then a couple more times..and still cut through any with razor ability so clean in fact my thumb didn't bleed once until they opened it to clean it..the suture nurse guy..said it was that clean and I showed them the blade and it would seem it couldn't cut ur way our of wet cardboard...dings and pings and battle wounds...but never failed me.. just mishandled..and payed the price..but all is good .. except for my thumps up position it's not the same no more.. half-cocked pistol..son of a biscuit that was to much.. sorry once started I couldn't b stopped.. Gerber great brand I'm in to crkt at the moment but won't leave Gerber it's that go to..the one you know that works..and the end..I'm done for real..but.. there was that time...f#@& it..bye
The best machete is any Tramontina machete, it has a high quality carbon steel blade combined with a low price, i'm using a single Tramontina about 6 years and it is perfect.
Thanks for sharing with us your experience!
Used a Tramontina to Clear all low hanging branches on a few acres of land. nothing but respect for them. just wrap the handle , in something..
7:00 Schrade SCHKM1 What's the point of making a heavy kukri style blade and then putting holes in it?
It's a beautiful I have also some designs of swords if some one wants to buy contact me on Facebook that swords knives wajji interprises
The "Broadcut" machete is actually a Parang. One company you did not mention, is Condor Tool and Knife. They have some wonderful machete's all made from 1075 carbon steel, with great leather sheath's. The other problem with stainless steel is it is actually rather brittle and does not have much flex to it. As other have said most of the machete's you mentioned are not very good or worth buying, much less relying on in the woods. P.S. I am 56 years old and I have been collecting knives since the early 80s.
Thanks for watching! Have a nice day!
WHY NO FOX tactical kukri ????
It's a amazing kukri and definitely deserve to be here ❗
Like previous people have said none of these are the best ,but just because of my tanto ,I'd go with the ka-bar so it would match lol
I think I'll stay with my full tang Kershaw, Camp18. 24" overall with an 18" blade and Kydex sheath.
3:28 is ALMOST exactly the kind of khukuri I was thinking I wanted, but its got too many saw sides! you only need the one on the base of the front
Im not a hiker or camper so the all sound and look great to me i wouldn't know which to buy
At 2:33 if you stop the video you can see chips out of the blade so I dont know how good it is
May get this one
Which one? Thanks for watching!
I watched this because of the thumbnail
Love from Nepal
I have the gerber and a kukri . The best machete I ever owned was made by fisker can’t find it anymore.
fail from the first seconds : this in the gerber machete...
I went with none of these and got the Condor mini duku parang and I’m sooo glad I did. Made a strop and got some black compound and and it’s razor sharp and chops like a CHAMP. Check out reviews.
my boy friend bought a cold steel chaos kukri that is a MONSTER at chopping wood brush or pretty much anything else the problem he says about it is its HEAVY
The caption photo kukri of the video is not in the video! :) Nice...
Kukri( original word is khukuri derived from the national weapon of nepal, it is easy to handle solid to cut of .use in different purpose. Our ancchestor used to. We are still
Who makes the black kukri machetes with finger grooves in your thumbnail pic of this video?
In my humble opinion just go with Ontario or Cold steel, they won't fail you.
I'm replying as you mentioned Ontario machetes. I quit buying them over 30 years ago because I would chip out half-dollars sized pieces from the blade while brush clearing in the mountains. I see a lot of people on UA-cam like them. Have you experienced any chipping problems with them? If they've fixed that problem, I'd like to give them another chance.
By the way, cool name. Are you married to Dejah Thoris? Edgar Rice Burroughs' books, John Carter. Fighting man of Mars, Gentleman of Virginia, and Warlord of Barsoom. One of my favorite characters as a child.
@@boatingman11 Dog it, Ed. I too like John Carter and even Tarzan by Edgar Rice Burroughs, sheeze.
Scmach2 me encanta ver como se rompe contra una piedra....jejejeejeee....
A good Zombie Apocalypse scenario commerical video 🤣
seriously, 3cr steel for strong edge retention...Laughable...could have done this vid with one brand of machete. Tramontina
Tramontina. Buy one you're done.
Sad thing is that it's cheaper than any of these pieces of shit listed above... And will last twice as long.
very nice
I like this Machetes
The broadcut is a knuckleduster, blades set to far back.
As far as machetes go, I prefer American and British Military machetes. As far as Khukris go I prefer genuine gurkhas, the Becker-Reinhardt, Ka-bar and top end Cold Steel. Most of the items here are low budget but are good entry level items. Look for product fails on You-tube for the products shown here. Find out from the manufacturers how and if any problems have been addressed. Most product failures involve tempering of steels. There are many stainless steel types some can be very well tempered to compete with carbon steels. Unless you know metallurgy it is better not to poo poo on stainless unless you couple it with the manufacturers name, if you have had trouble with it. I have seen very expensive knives fail from batch tempering in the attempt to speed up production. So while the knives are reputable a small batch may have shown up to be failures. Warranties are very important to cover this. Furthermore, certain woods can wreak havoc on blades. Machetes were not generally designed for chopping down trees, but meant for clearing paths and underbrush. Large knives, bodies, etc do much heavier chopping work. There are machetes and there are choppers, two different things. Know your blades purpose before buying and be certain it will do the job!
Following which standard are they the "best"
I don't know why or how bute I like them all
Uau,certo beautifuls😳😳😳😳😳😍😍😍👏👏👏👏👏
no cold steel?
If you hunt while carrying that Gator Machete, just know that nice sheath is pretty loud when or if you move or twist in certain situations. It rattles inside the sheath. Well unless you have it secured a certain way like maybe the bottom portion secured or tied to your lower thigh or something. If hanging on just your belt it'll rattle making you announce your presence unwantedly to your prey. Lol just saying from my experience using it yesterday for the first time rabbit hunting.
I just Go for the Khukuri 😂😂 Nothing fancy
There are still some good machetes in the list though.
what are the kukris in the thumbnail?
What about the traditional Kukri blade?
Wow Beautiful🔪🔪
Thanks for watching!
Gerber Broad Cut look like a moded BG parang
I wanted to see the Machete's from the Thumbnail not these ones
Has Nut'n Fancy reviewed any of these??
Tôi muốn mua một con. Có bán không?
The best
The Ka-bar is the best on the list, I have one & was able to do everything with it, even chop down a 14 inch thick tree.
The Gerber broadcut has blade damage . Right on the cutting edge . I used to buy Gerber knives , but their knives don't hold an edge too well . So you sharpen it so often that the blade is noticeably smaller within the first year
If u want good all around machete for cheap thé tramontina 18 is awesome but i go with my Ontario 18 saw back and cold steel jungle or kurki/magnum kukri awesome for all task AND for combat too!! Non flexible blade are better for combat and to do more damage or for cutting small tree it's better to have solid non flexible machete
So what is the kukri machetes you have on the cover of this video???
Someone else commented that they are fox knives.
Hey the CRKT guy is Ben from Blade HQ
Lmao. Was the CRKT guy BladeHQ Ben????? Hahahaha
the gator machete only goes into the handle about .25 of an inch behind the second bolt and that means as soon as you chop a branch any bigger than around an inch its gonna stress the handle and weaken maybe even break it the only full tang one i have seen so far is the sog the others that claim full tang won't hold a magnet at the pommel it just falls off because there's nothing there, the gerber machete at around 8 minutes is full tang, you can see the steel in the lanyard hole but the one before it is not. the ones with the full tang are the only ones worth getting and even some of those are probably way more expensive than they need to be for a brush clearing tool or a campers nightmare tool go to your local discount tool like railroad salvage and grab yourself a 5 dollar machete, they come with a half ass edge on them so all you need to do is sharpen it
I've always been dubious concerning stainless steel blades. Only the KA BAR was carbon steel. Keep it clean and it won't rust or corrode.
*beautiful*
Thanks for watching!!!
I like mandau from borneo 👍👍👍👍
Jason's weapon of choice
Jason Bourne:))
Can i order for this first one from Bangladesh?
fyi in bangladesh they just use stone and stick only.and onion to throw at the enemy.this is too much taka for you to buy.lol..
Cool
showing my FKMD Trakker kukri on the thumbnail and presenting iffy blades with a couple of exceptions. pls
As a Real Gorkha.... I dont think thats a real khukuri.....
Its jst a copy.... But also loved it... the way they upgraded it.... 😍😍
Thanks for watching! Have a nice day!
Kreios extrema ratio?
Good luck getting any of them thru Customs, if they have to be imported.
Where do you live? I always got my machetes, knives and swords through our customs procedure (even though we've got some fucked up knife-/weapons-laws in Germany...). A machete is a tool, foremost. (Although, most of the models presented in this video are crappy wallhangers.)
Ecelente machete yo quiero uno
LOL the lanyard is made to go around your wrist so that the blade doesn't fly away from you if you loose grip.
I will probably get some crap for this but who cares right? The Gerber broadcut is just another version of the Bear Grylls Parang. I love the Bear Grylls Parang. As a landscaper, I have cut acres and acres of sod beating the hell out of it, hitting rocks, concrete, metal etc. And the thing just won't give up. I bring it with me into the woods camping as well. It has served me better than any other machete I've ever owned. Extremely tough and versatile. Cut sod one day, chop wood the next, then come home wash it up and cut vegetables. That's just my two cents.

I think the best machete on here was the K-bar Kukri.
I make my own and this is great example to follow. Thanks.
where can i get those...

every hi-design except..the g i standard issue 18 inch military machete
Ở đâu bán vậy bạn .
What r price pls reply
What's the kukri in the thumbnai
I've torn through the Gerber Gators and was very disappointed. Got better stuff from farm stores for a few bucks. The Gator bent and chipped like crazy to the point I had to hammer it out to finish cutting the mulberry bush it was first tested on.
The kukri in the thumbnail is the Fox FX-9CM05T....your welcome.
Khukuri should be in heavy metal so
Its load can use as force energy and cut to pieces to the enemy
GOOD
No cold steel ?
I have another video in which there are 2 machetes from cold steel
No coldsteel?
Ok... but were is the extrema ratio kukri of the thumbnail?
I’d pick the ka-bar knife 11min
Force recon kukri? They even dont know the shape of the original gurkha kukri.
cool
How much.
