It was so fun to see the curriculum. I homeschooled my son with BJU & The Calvert School. He is now 44 years old, went to college got his degree in directing and owns his own business. I’m so proud of him and he loves to talk about his homeschool years.
We did the videos last year and I agree, for my 2nd grader, they were just too much! So we went back to teachers manuals for both of my girls for the year. I did love the videos though and we will use them again in the future for a few subjects!
I love seeing all of the books and gaining some insight into the curriculum. ❤ I feel like this curriculum will be very useful and helpful. I look forward to watching more homeschooling content.
After watching your BJU videos and BJU videos from other channels, I will say that I'm really liking the curriculum. Thanks for showing a bit or the teacher guide and explaining about it a bit.. - Renee
We just wrapped up our homeschool year 🙂 actually looking for a new curriculum we're usually an ACE paces family but it's just not working for our kids as they get older they want something more engaging so we're looking at BJU. We'll have a 9th grader and 4th grader. Our oldest graduated this year.
I use BJU parent lead and I learned after I bought Activity Manual Answer keys that they are actually available on the CDs in the back of Teachers Edition. Just wanted to share that so you can save money if you continue using BJU. A printed copy is easier to refer to but viewing answers on a screen is always an option especially for schooling on the trips. For Math I use the Teachers toolkit CD and print off the extra practice instead of buying the Reviews book. My child does the extra practice as his warm up to math.
@OurSmallTownLife I greatly appreciate that! Do you teach your children simultaneously? I have the past two years with our old curriculum and would like to continue. If you do, do you keep them all on the same course schedule?
We all do school together and usually all sit at the kitchen table together. They do what they can independently while I work with another and I rotate giving them one on one attention.
When my son was in 3rd grade, we used BJU video on demand for Heritage Studies (social studies/science) and then we used Christian Light Education (work book style) for math, lang. arts, and reading. It worked really well to mix and match how he took in the info ;)
Asking y'all to please pray for our daughter-in-law. She's pregnant with our granddaughter and is having a few health hiccups. She's due in August. Thank you in advance. God Bless

Awesome choice! We love BJU spelling.
We enjoyed BJU, we changed some things though but definitely going back to science for our high schooler. Love hearing others homeschooling
We love BJU. We’ll be doing it again this upcoming year.

Hey hey sweet friend ❤️ 💕
Hello I’m new to homeschooling is this program Christian based like does it put in bible verses in curriculum or learning about the Bible ?
It is Christian based and teaches a Christian worldview. However, it's not "in your face" but instead is beautifully woven into the lessons.
And is it accredited or unaccredited?
Is your son that is in 6 th grade going into elementary school or middle school
❤️
Hi Angel girl 😚😚😘 love you guys 😇🥰😇
