I remember the last few minutes of this really catching me off guard, Korra looking at her reflection with those dark circles under her eyes and appearing so broken and devastated, in the wheelchair, crying at Jinora's coronation, it's a real shock to the system for someone we're used to seeing very poised and confident. That PTSD is gonna hit her hard.
Mercury poisoning is terrifying, give it some research like the writers did. It explains a hell of a lot about what Korra was seeing during this fight and why she is taking so long to recover at the end of this season. Its symptoms are brutal.
And Zaheer put what looked to be an entire *litre* of mercury into her. That's enough to be instantly lethal to several dozen people simultaneously. And yet she survived.
the final scene of this season has NEVER failed to make me tear up. I have seen it more times than I care to admit, yet still, I get verklempt. every. single. time.
It’s so interesting because the actual events themselves are so outlandish and removed from any real world traumatic events that one of us could have or have gone through, and yet you feel it deep in your stomach how much of a toll has been expended on Korra through these episodes that the trauma allegories feel so real

@@tuongmac2263 I checked the ATLA episode, and maybe I am wrong. I was certain we saw the same room there, that we are seeing at 12:45. Maybe I was misremembering it.
Including lying that any airbenders aside from Tenzin were even still at the NAT… Speaking of which, did the comics ever address how it was restored between ATLA (when the Mechanic was inhabiting it) and now? That’s 70 years but I haven’t seen why this Temple of all of them was fixed enough for that prioritisation.
Tenzin could never fly like Zaheer. He is absolutely loaded with earthly attachments - his entire family, the future of the air nation, the legacy of his father. Being able to fly is very, very rare. Zaheer is the first person to do it in centuries.
Interesting theory I have is that a previous avatar may have mastered the skill, maybe one who’s Airbending teacher was Laghima, as iirc we see Aang and maybe Korra flying without bending in the avatar state
@@mranima748 seems highly unlikely imo. When Aang was talking to his past lives during the finale of atla, he talks to Yangchen who tells him he must sacrifice his spiritual needs for his duty to the earth as the avatar. The avatar can never fly - they cannot release their worldly tethers because their duty as the avatar is to the world
@@masdzulfikar6201 The head attacks always hit me hardest for some reason. Even her first fight in the city during the very first episode when she iced that Triad leader's head made me go 'oh hell!!!"
Zaheer’s plan was genius in its simplicity, and it’s also one he had to adjust - as a child he probably intended to indoctrinate her into believing her death was for the Greater Good but now he had a alternative. And his ambition is lofty but his plan is sound… moral dubiousness notwithstanding.
Kuvira's the guard I mentioned earlier, voiced by Zelda Williams. She's shown up a few times, but always as a minor character (she was one of the first guards to attack the Red Lotus when they tried to kidnap Korra the first time). We finally learn her name this episode.
Also, don't apologize for how you feel! I'm glad you're in the part of your life that allows you to share these kinds of things with people. Sharing these stories and memories about your sister with us all is the very thing that keeps those memories alive. I'm so sorry for your loss, as well
Pli's head exploded, Ming and Gazan got the entire temple caved down on top of them, they're gone for sure. Poor Korra, she got mercury in her system for minutes, that is absolutely deadly, it's a miracle she survived that long, anyone else would be long dead from that.
the ceremony for jinora gets me every single time. the air nation returning is righting such a injustice is well earned over the course of atla and lok.
It will also have been the first time it was done properly in 170 years. The only other ceremony would have been Tenzin and only Aang would have been there to perform it
There's actually a really wholesome explination as to why we dont typically see airbenders flying anymore. As seen in Avatar wan's flashback, all airbenders actually used to be able to fly without their gliders, that's how they went to and from their lion turtle. The whole philosophy for weightlesness/flight as stated by guru laghima is detachment, and so the reason most airbenders can't fly is because they're now permenantly bonded to the sky bison! Remember, "A sky bison is a companion for life"!
@@mranima748not sure if this is a joke but you may be thinking of the non benders that learned to use the nomads gliders. The guy telling that story only thought they were airbenders
I would like to thank you for sharing your vulnerable & loving memories between you and your sister. Cancer is awful and nobody should have to deal with it in any capacity. I lost my dad to cancer 16 years ago when I was a teen. Sadly I don't have many memories of him anymore, but one thing I'll never forget was our goodbye aswell. He stayed at home until the very end and even though the disease took most of him in the months and weeks leading up to his passing, he also had this moment where he got up on the couch and looked straight into my & my sister's eyes one last time, before we hugged him. Life is really, really awful sometimes and it's never easy, but this love we all have to cherish forever. Our loved ones are always with us. I don't know what else to say. Take care everyone 💜
I wish all humans could be more loving and compassionate towards each other. Not just to our families, or those we have a personal connection to. At the end of the day, no matter what our differences are, we are all people. We all have the same spirit. I don't know how people can go out into the world and intentionally cause harm to other people... When you're hurting someone, remember that they are human, they have a heart, they have their own feelings, their own wants and desires, dreams and aspirations... And somebody loves them. We're all capable of feeling these things, we can all connect emotionally, and relate to each other. Even as complete strangers. We are all connected and we all should take care of each other and support each other. I love everybody, and I would never put another person in any kind of pain for my own personal benefit. I will always do whatever I can to help those who need it. I just don't understand how someone could hurt another person, another living being, willingly... I just wish everyone could see the world as I do. To see beyond our physical differences... To look on all of humanity with love.
When you talked about watching your sister's condition deteriorate... it reminds me of my dad. It'll be 3 years this May, that my father passed away from cancer. He underwent chemo and it was just too strong for him. He was cleared to go home in late April but he couldn't eat and had no appetite so over the next few weeks he deteriorated before our eyes. I think, to this day, that he had multiple organ failure and possibly a stroke the day he died (given a few symptoms) given his rapid deterioration but I'll never know for sure. Watching Korra's pain and rage about her father dying (at least that's what she thought) always hurts for those reasons. I wish I could give you a hug. Loss of a family member is so hard to deal with and never truly leaves us.
Korra in pure survival mode is heartwrenching, then her seeing her dad.. perhaps thinking she was dead and that's why she saw him. Then her being broken at the end but still smiling when she sees the kids. Endless tears 😭
Thank you so much for sharing your story. It really touched me. It's so special that she looked into your soul and told you she loves you. I was diagnosed with stage IIIC2 cervical cancer last year and after one round of treatment we seem to have beat it, but there is always a worry in my mind it'll come back. I'm so sorry you lost your sister to that bastard cancer. (F*** cancer)! My heart goes out to you ❤ My father committed suicide when I was 12 and I totally agree, you can heal and become stronger. I have definitely learned to deal with my grief in a healthy way. I also LOVED that Jinora looked like Aang!!
I love the fact that the way all the members of the red lotus were defeated was to use their own elements against them. That 3rd eye lady died cause of her own explosion, the lava guy basically burried himself, Minhua was defeated cause she miscalculated the fact that being sourced by a full lake of water wouldn't be an advantage and Zaheer got sucked by the tornado. The element that lifted him up in the skies, the same element brought him down to earth so violently. So poetic. Kudos to the writers❤
Also at the end, Korra was crying not only because she was happy for Jinora, but mostly because Tenzin implied that the world no longer needed the avatar and she knew so many people agreed with zaheer.
Not just his parents. A huge part of bending is also philosophy and attitude. Having a Firebender for a brother, training and bending alongside him for his entire life, being exposed to Firebending techniques and way of thinking for all that time, this likely all played a part in Bolin being able to access Lavabending.
@@dargron7614 it's probably why it's such a rare ability, technically metalbending is more or less just advanced earthbending but lavabending likely requires some kind of influence from firebending, so if you're an earthbender who is only ever around other earthbenders even if you're really good and good enough to do metalbending it's likely you wouldn't be able to lavabend.
Oooof! We can finally talk about Bolin and lavabending, the "Enter the void" moment, but most of all, the Jinora scene, with the music, and her being the culmination of everything Aang worked for. This season was truly special, every single episode I was like, "There's more amazing scenes coming!!". And she's gonna finish just in time for the Netflix Adaptation, what great timing to be a fan!
19:05 I'm sorry. "Now?" They did that in season 1 with Amon and Tarlok. Hell, a unaliving/self unaliving was probably just as brutal as what happened to P'Li 😂
It’s never said as far as I recall but everything indicates that the poison was mercury. It’s the only stable metal that’s liquid at common temperatures, appears mirror silver, and is incredibly toxic.
Watching your reactions has been such a breath of fresh air. I just love how open you are with your emotions and it helps to share in the excitement, the sadness and the shocks of everything going on. Thank you for opening up and for being you!
We have actually seen this Kuvira character before. In some of the episodes that took place in Zaofu, she can be seen as one of the (head) guards. Just look for the distinct beauty mark below her right eye. Very curious they decided to explicitly mention her name twice in this episode though.
I do wish she had a more prominent role this season, like, nothing huge or influential to the story, but enough to know who she is (and her connection to Su) by this point, could have easily happened in the Zaofu episodes. Her being introduced in this way is a little jarring and makes people think something more is going on with her at this point.
Fun fact, several months(?) before season 3 even started to air, the creators shared a very crude (and I mean very crude) drawing of Korra sitting down with a sad face as a glimpse of what they were working on. It was so vague in that format that it appeared to just be a silly choice of image that effectively gave us no glimpse at all. Of course in reality, it was a simplified sketch of the season's final shot. Who knew
Bolin being a lava bender makes sense considering his mother was from the fire nation. It explains why he couldn't metal bend since isn't a pure earth bender.
I can't say one way or another but for me it has nothing to do with genetics. Just because Blood Bending doesn't necessarily have a genetic component. The show contradicts itself a little but I don't like the idea of it being genetic.
Fan fic addition to Bolin's lava bending: Bolin looks over at them, they have a look of acceptance of the inevitable, fear, helplessness. Bolin remembers every time Mako seemed like a superhero when they were kids. Memories quickly go through Bolin's mind of all the times Mako fought when they were homeless kids, bigger people, when they were outnumbered, against all odds. In this moment Bolin understood that it's his time to protect those he loves and steps forward. The earth only moves for the immovable. Lava only bends when a fire within burns immovably. You don't bend lava, you are immovable and calm with a molten core of determination not just the fire of life inside.
Notice the absence of lightning for awhile? They did that on purpose to get a good reaction to mako using it against ming hua. Also kuvira has been around since the metal city episodes just not mentioned by name. She's voiced by Robin Williams daughter, Zelda. Im glad you noticed the music. The last 3 episodes were without a doubt magnificent.
It's absolutely insane how much better the show got when the creators knew they were getting more than one season, season three is just amazing. So much growth for all of the characters, and even for the world itself. Big props to Henry Rollins for his portrayal of Zaheer too. One interesting thing is I haven't seen any reactors yet recognize the Red Lotus poison as mercury (or at least I assume that's what it is)
Hearing the full story of the loss of your sister actually brought me to tears, i'm sorry you had to endure that but i'm glad to hear coping with the grief helped you in the long run. I've got 2 older sisters and imagining us going through that situation, i really don't know how id handle it. Since you said stories like that and with similar themes give you catharsis i really recommend The Haunting of Hill House if you haven't seen it already, it's about so much more than just ghosts
There is some irony in Ming Hua's death. She's voiced by Grey DeLisle, the voice of Azula in Avatar. Azula was noted for being able to generate lightning, and ability in Mako was what allowed him to take Ming Hua out.
You definitely have seen Kuvira before... She was just never heavily focused on, or named... She's been in the background in Zaofu and occasionally walks into the room to report things directly to Suyin... She was fighting along with the White Lotus in Zaofu when the Red Lotus captured Korra and she was the one who grabbed Zaheer and separated him from the group...
Theres a theory that air benders lost the ability to fly when they formed their bonds with the fly bisons. Once they bonded, they had a tether that allowed them to fly with the bisons but also blocked them from flying themselves.
Btw, that water lady's "octopus move", this is just my mind, not some official thing. I think it startled Kaya because if we think back to ATLA it was sort of Katara's signature master move, that she got better and better with, started with the waterbending scroll and the "water whip" and each season she kept improving on it. And this supervillain just did an even bigger more complex version. So the feeling I got was the same way Tenzin measures himself against Aang, Kaya must also look up to her famous mom, and this supervillain just pulled up with a stronger version of her mom's signature move.
Interesting take. Kya seems to have her own version, the Double-Water Rings she uses a few times. Seems to serve the same defensive capabilities, but more tailored towards ice projectile attacks instead of multiple water whips.
@@frenchynoob I do wish they had focused a bit more on her and how cool a bender she is. Because she definitely has some skill, and she IS Katara's daughter, odds are she'd be cool to watch. But yeah, I hadn't noticed the double rings until you mentioned it and I looked it up. It does look like her version of it just like Tenzin did the cycle as his version of the scooter.
Stronger than what 14 year old Katara could do. I’m pretty sure Katara by the time she was training Kya in water bending could do anything Ming-Hua could do and plenty more.
I’m so sorry for your loss but so glad you have that memory of your sister. teared up with you, my mom is in remission (Breast and bone) and I can’t imagine.
I feel like I’ve been waiting MONTHS for you to see Bolin’s bending reveal 😂 I think it makes so much more sense for his character than metal bending and I LOVE that they didn’t just go with the “once he believes in himself, he’ll be able to do it!” arc and instead showed that just believing in yourself hard enough won’t make something right for you when it’s not. Sometimes it’s just not the thing that’s meant for you and that’s okay!
Kuvira is actually in the background during a few scenes throughout season 3. She’s one of the dancers that was rehearsing when Korra met Suyin. She was also one of the guards that tried to stop Zaheer’s crew when they attempted to kidnap Korra.
I just want to add that Korra being in the avatar state was just her raw power, she didn’t have any past lives to help her at all. She is truly strong, and she was fighting to stay alive that whole time as well. She’s just amazing, I love you
When you realise that Korra is actually next lifetime of "Aang" which was told us plenty in both ATLA and TLOK. Her crying at the end just hits different, also Tatto is for the airbending masters.
The guard with the beauty mark who caught Tonraq is named Kuvira. She is voiced by Zelda Williams, daughter of Robin Williams. She was present at Su's dance rehearsal when they first arrived at Zaofu, and served as Captain of the Zaofu guard.
Thank you for what you do. And thank you for sharing your story. I am so sorry for your loss. A very dear friend of mine tragically passed away young a few months ago and your videos are a great help in the sense that, a shared love of media has always been something that kept my fire burning, and it was something that made me and my friend so close, so I've been kind of trying to stay afloat by sticking to what I know, and your videos give me a place to feel and to reflect and to reminisce. So again, thank you, and I'm looking forward to book 4 reactions!
Angela, thank you for sharing your story. It is truly a beautiful thing how open and compassionate you are. My wife's brother passed away from lung cancer and we just returned home from his memorial service. The evening after the service, we all gathered at his wife's home and spent hours laughing and crying together. His wife and son told us of the ups and downs of caring for him in his final weeks and we all shared funny stories and anecdotes from our lives and memories of him. You are so right, it was a truly cathartic experience, and hearing your story of you and your sister is like a healing balm. We are not alone, and all we need do is let those around us in.
The poison being used is Mercury, a few drops on the skin is enough to be fatal. Zaheer & co were willing to torture Korra until she was physically weakened enough to be murdered. Extremist ideology and nothing to loose is a terrifying combination, to say the least.
Thank you for talking about the emotional effect of watching media with stories about losing loved ones. In the past 6 years I've lost my father, only brother, both my grandmothers, and helped my mother fight stage 4 cancer (that she's thankfully over a year in remission for) I get hit hard by these kinds of stories but there's definitely something comforting, to me, in the universality of the experience of grief and loss. These stories work so well because almost everyone has lost someone they care about and that also, to me, means no one is alone in their grief. We all know what it feels like to carry that weight and so in some ways it feels like we all carry it together.
I was thinking about that! I didn't feel like comenting on it cause seeing good people (aka Angela) cry while talking about real issues is something that gets me everytime so I just focus on mentioning fiction stuff. But although I absolutely HATE to see her sadness, I'm really glad to see that there are people out there who can talk about this kinds of stuff. Plus I'm glad she has a place to mention her sister and how it affects her, cause like she said, in "real life" we tend to kinda avoid those topics with our loved ones.
My grandmother passed away two weeks ago, and hearing your story at the end of this brought me to tears. The sentiment of not being alone in grief is powerful and means a lot. You're right that these stories are so important and avoiding them isn't healthy. Sending much love and good vibes to you.
I was already teary-eyed at the finale but I absolutely broke down during your Ending analysis. Thank you for sharing your life and what you've learned with us, it is greatly appreciated 💞 I am looking forward to your reactions to Book 4, it's my favourite one (big reason being all the things that were set up in Book 3)!
Thank you for being so open and vulnerable with your grief. I lost my dad to cancer 11 years ago and relate a lot to how you described your experience. It’s always beautiful to see how art and stories can bring people together and help us reflect on our own emotions
I remember most of this season was aired on television, but it got pulled off air and it was then streamed only. I think it was because of the killing. They never aired the episode where the queen died on TV, that was streamed only. It was a while ago, so I might not be remembering correctly though. I also forgot about that one scene with Bolin throwing Opal's mom, so he could hug Opal. I laughed a little too hard at that scene and your reaction to it.
the four benders of zahir groups are so bad ass, the sound before the explosion is so scary and seeing tolrak and beifong sisters fight is allways amazing
these two episodes turned out so meaningful, so powerful and so poetic, i've been a little bit in front of you on my Korra journey so i watched this earlier this year and i still remember how hard these scenes hit me, an impressive culmination of this great season and i know this is tacky, but seeing you watch this series with such passion and seeing how connected you've become is really one of my favorite things to do nowadays, making me want to go and give you a big ol' hug because you deserve all of them, take care flg and see you in season 4!!!
I understand very well, I have faced loss as too. People often think that after a loss you need to be hidden from things that might remind you - but what is really needed is to face the world and make it through.
The Earth Queen's death was such a pivotal and dramatic moment... frankly, it was breathtaking... I wasn't expecting Ming-Hua... which was shocking... But P'Li... that was just mind-blowing...

Something that i haven't seen mentioned yet.. Season 3 was the last season. Nickelodeon canceled the show and that ending was literally it.. Then sometime later (can't remember how much exactly) the creators of the show anounced that they were going to create season 4 without Nickelodeon, putting forth the funding themselves for season 4. Season 4 is so dang special, even more so simply for the fact that we weren't supposed to have it at all.

38:56 Poor Kuvira lol She’s repeatedly shown doing nothing but good, yet the moment she says her own name everyone thinks she’s evil. I get it, but it’s wild when you think about it.
She’s active in Zaofu cultural events, metalbending training, she joins for meals, she defends Korra from the Red Lotus, she searches for the traitor seer, she’s frequently on-screen alongside Su and even had speaking lines where the shot focuses on her, and yet even as Tonraq is thanking her for saving his life, she says her name and it’s just *EEEVILLL!!*

All because he saw his girl die and realized he could, indeed, live without pussy
The avatar can never fly - they cannot release their worldly tethers because their duty as the avatar is to the world
@@DK492tubemaybe avatar gun could fly then. He rejected the world (briefly) for himself
So it's basically if you can fly, you're a bad person
We are here today to anoint the master of tearbending! 😭
With respect...the master of tearbending is Uncle Iroh when he sings Leaves from the Vine.
I love that Jinora looks just like Aang! Such a beautiful moment at the end!
I remember getting chills when I saw that for the first time 😢
Korra is an absolute BEAST when she's bloodlusted. Absolutely unstoppable and she would have annihilated Zaheer had she not been poisoned.
Enter The Void was, dare I say it, mind-blowing.
Shocking! Groundbreaking!
'Long Live the Queen' was breathtaking!
P'Li's death is one of the most shocking, but Zaheer trying to murder Korra with mercury poisoning is a pretty twisted way to take her out.
I think Ming Hua's death is more shocking.
@@masdzulfikar6201😂
Yeah it was impressive to me watching this reaction series how MANY times you see or hear her in the background in earlier episodes

All hail the great uniter
Also, don't apologize for how you feel! I'm glad you're in the part of your life that allows you to share these kinds of things with people. Sharing these stories and memories about your sister with us all is the very thing that keeps those memories alive. I'm so sorry for your loss, as well
Pli's head exploded, Ming and Gazan got the entire temple caved down on top of them, they're gone for sure.
Poor Korra, she got mercury in her system for minutes, that is absolutely deadly, it's a miracle she survived that long, anyone else would be long dead from that.
i think jinora knew the poison was metal because she was doing her spirit apparition thing and watching when they metal bent it into her skin
the ceremony for jinora gets me every single time. the air nation returning is righting such a injustice is well earned over the course of atla and lok.
It will also have been the first time it was done properly in 170 years. The only other ceremony would have been Tenzin and only Aang would have been there to perform it
Thank you for sharing your story of your sister. She would be extremely proud of the person you are today. 😊
🖤🖤
There's actually a really wholesome explination as to why we dont typically see airbenders flying anymore.
As seen in Avatar wan's flashback, all airbenders actually used to be able to fly without their gliders, that's how they went to and from their lion turtle. The whole philosophy for weightlesness/flight as stated by guru laghima is detachment, and so the reason most airbenders can't fly is because they're now permenantly bonded to the sky bison! Remember, "A sky bison is a companion for life"!
Correct. And when P'Li died, Zaheer lost his last remaining tether to the world.
There is also the air walkers mentioned it atla
@@mranima748not sure if this is a joke but you may be thinking of the non benders that learned to use the nomads gliders. The guy telling that story only thought they were airbenders
But they turned out to be people using gliders not airbenders.
Love this!!!
Also, SHOUT OUT TO THE MUSIC, my god the music was perfect these last two episodes, but ESPECIALLY that last scene 😮💨
Also at the end, Korra was crying not only because she was happy for Jinora, but mostly because Tenzin implied that the world no longer needed the avatar and she knew so many people agreed with zaheer.
Wasn’t it because Tenzin’s speech made her feel useless and a burden, hence why she rushes her recovery in season 4
"I'm intrigued by Kuvira, all of the sudden being a prominent figure that we are calling by name."
*_Oh yeah. It's all coming together._*
Bolin being a lavabender makes so much sense considering his parents.
Not just his parents. A huge part of bending is also philosophy and attitude. Having a Firebender for a brother, training and bending alongside him for his entire life, being exposed to Firebending techniques and way of thinking for all that time, this likely all played a part in Bolin being able to access Lavabending.
The mindset also makes sense, since Ghazan and Bolin are both pretty easygoing people
@@dargron7614 it's probably why it's such a rare ability, technically metalbending is more or less just advanced earthbending but lavabending likely requires some kind of influence from firebending, so if you're an earthbender who is only ever around other earthbenders even if you're really good and good enough to do metalbending it's likely you wouldn't be able to lavabend.
We said that this season was breathtaking, mindblowing, shocking and groundbreaking.
Dude I needed this comment to realize gazham died underground😅.
That thumbnail. Once she starts clutching her heart, you know she's in for a emotional rollercoaster 😂😂😂
Ming Hua: It’s over! You’re surrounded by water
Mako: Yes, yes we are
Ming hua: Nani?
Mako: BBZZZZZZTTTTTTT!!!!!
The Air Nomads can REALLY, REALLY never catch a break can they?
Also, Jinora is the spitting image of Aang with those Tattoo's.
Imagine telling a teenage girl, "Goodness! You look just like your grandfather did at your age!"
Lifetime of body image issues, activate!
Btw the ost at the end is called Service and Sacrifice. One of the best pieces in the soundtrack of this franchise.
When they enter Zaofu I believe Kuvira is one of the dancers on the giant metal flower as well.
@@patrickwaldeck6681 "I believe Kuvira is one of the dancers": She was, you're right. She is the Metal clan's prodigy after all.
I’m pretty sure they hid Kuvira in as many scenes as possible here, they really tried to tie in season 3 and 4
On rewatch it’s apparent that they stuck Kuvira in as many scenes as possible
Who knew
I love how this finale actually had a real impact on Korra not only phisically but also mentally, unlike other finales. Loved your reaction!❤
Bolin being a lava bender makes sense considering his mother was from the fire nation.
It explains why he couldn't metal bend since isn't a pure earth bender.
Exactly
I don’t think it has to do with genetic disposition. It’s more like learning it through a different style and mind set
@@redfieldwong717 You definitely do have a point, but I believe both factors do have an effect on it.
I can't say one way or another but for me it has nothing to do with genetics. Just because Blood Bending doesn't necessarily have a genetic component. The show contradicts itself a little but I don't like the idea of it being genetic.
Popular theory. Could be supported if we knew who Ghazan parents were.
Fan fic addition to Bolin's lava bending:
Bolin looks over at them, they have a look of acceptance of the inevitable, fear, helplessness.
That ending ceremony, right?
The entire season 3 is just masterfully done.
"How do they not break bones?" - you got your answer; that fall broke korras back
She didn't break her back, the paralysis is explicitly a result of damage from the poison.
Yh I think it’s more to do with the poison
@@HeavensrunI'm pretty sure it's because she fell
I feel like both may have played a part 😂 the poison was just much more long term
@@Heavensrunshe broke her legs too
You definitely have seen Kuvira before...
The way I've been so excited for this!! The ending of this season always makes me cry 😭😭
Thank you for sharing that part of your life with us. Your strength of compassion and love for your sister are inspiring.
@@Saphthings Kya is one of my favourite characters, more screen time for her would get nothing but a thumbs up from me
Stronger than what 14 year old Katara could do. I’m pretty sure Katara by the time she was training Kya in water bending could do anything Ming-Hua could do and plenty more.
@@dcaslick probably accurate.
Our main villain loses the ability to float, unbound by earthly attachments, as soon as his lost love is mentioned by name.
Everytime I feel so Bad for Korra. She looks and is completly broken. 😢
So proud of our Boi Bolin. Lava Bending is WAY cooler than Metal Bending.
Angela: "How do they not break bones doing that, I swear."
Also Angela: "Why is she in a wheelchair?"
Interestingly about P’li, the original combustionebenders were created as weapons
You saw Kuvira a lot. She’s in almost every S3 episode at Zaofu.
Thank you for being so open and vulnerable with your grief. I lost my dad to cancer 11 years ago and relate a lot to how you described your experience. It’s always beautiful to see how art and stories can bring people together and help us reflect on our own emotions

LOK did side character progression extremely well imo. Mako/Bolin are soooo badass at this point
I laughed a little too hard at that scene and your reaction to it.
the four benders of zahir groups are so bad ass, the sound before the explosion is so scary and seeing tolrak and beifong sisters fight is allways amazing
these two episodes turned out so meaningful, so powerful and so poetic, i've been a little bit in front of you on my Korra journey so i watched this earlier this year and i still remember how hard these scenes hit me, an impressive culmination of this great season

Just a note that I'm really enjoying your reactions to this series. I love your long recaps and debriefs after 2 episodes, really well crafted and with lots of effort put in. I recently commented on another channel that this kind of effort into reaction channels is what makes them worth watching, keep up the great work 😊
This next season, s4 ep2 is one of my favorite and most meaningful episodes in all of Avatar, especially as it relates to my own personal journey in life. Get ready because this next season hits HARD emotionally.
I only just started watching your LOK reactions (just got done with the first video) but I'm coming here just to comment that I'm impressed you predicted after only two episodes that one of the brothers would Lavabend 😂
After this last super intense finale, you deserved that vacation and hope you had or is continuing having a blast. You and your video editor are definitely Top Tier!
OMG you made me cry again when Jinora is uncovered at the end of the episode 13 ! 😢 Wjen I saw the resemblance the first time, I had so many tears ! It's so wonderful to see people react the same to shows we love ! Keep going, I love you reactions ! ❤❤❤
I don't think you realized how dark this final episode was, 2 people died gazan brought down the temple on both himself and ming wah
The last episode is my favorite from the show ! I rewatch it all the time, Korra is such a badass and just the emotions it putts us through... amazing ❤❤
This is what I mean when I say Korra's run is more uneven than Aang's but....the highs are sometimes higher than anything TLA ever did. This finale is top tier storytelling. Can't wait for Season 4! I was crying right there with ya.
Poor Zelda as well lol
Robin died between the end of Book 3 and the start of Book 4, didn’t he? Oof…
Your words at the end of this episode really helped me and it made me feel better to know that I'm not alone. I have been struggling this past day after losing my childhood dog this past weekend (he was 16 years old.) Putting him down was such a hard decision and I can't imagine how difficult losing someone like a sister or parent is.
