So about the dust thing, I believe the dust was more they were running out so the blue stone would make more. Now that they have a lot of blue dust to spare, dust is just everywhere. So it takes a little bit

Ok so, I acknowledge that Secret of the Wings is objectively cute, but even as a kid, the plot holes bothered me *so* much lol. Like they LITERALLY flew through the woods, giving tinker bell a tour, still wearing the fluffy dandelion dress. I liked the design of the winter lady too, and she was just, scrapped forever. Oh well, Peri’s cute, and at least the winter fairies be repping the short hair girlies (which seems super backwards weather wise..? But I digress.)
I think they flew above the winter woods? either way it's a magical kids movie and probably isn't supposed to be that deep.
Exactly!! That’s literally one of the main reasons this movie irked me as a kid, because of the major retconning 😭 good thing it has a cute plot
I mean not only did they fly very above they did it very fast just to give the newcomer an idea of what it's like
About the Minister of Winter and the Snowflake fairies we see in previous movies I believe they're capable of going to the warm seasons due to them pratically being made of that ice protection and they didn't show up later due to not being needed in that time (they just doesn't show characters if they're not relevent to the plot probably to save the budget) but they do have their own homes around the wintery areas (In the Pixie Hollow World game we can see the Minister of Winter and where she resides)
Yes and I just assumed they made up the whole snow fairy thing for this movie purely so they can do the sister thing. Cute but yeah it definitely has plot holes.
the winter of minister not being there even tho all the other ministers (spring, autumn and summer) were there, still botheres me because I always really liked her character design and wished we got to see more of her 🥹
Still to this day I will forever get goosebumps from the winter fairies grouping together to cover all the trees and flowers to protect them 😭😌

There's a bit of backstory in the books about Lizzy's father - he met a fairy when he was a kid, but was told that fairies aren't real and that he needs to grow up. As an adult he believed that encounter was just his imagination.

Great Fairy Rescue was my favorite as a kid 🥹 love it, and i would always build fairy houses and leave them outside for fairies

The warm side of neverland seems to be the home of the "sweet summer children," so to speak, whereas winter is older, and colder, than we may ever know. The fact that Queen Clarion and Lord Melori were once involved romantically is probably the closest thing Neverland has ever had to a "steamy" romance.

I mostly grew up on Secret of the Wings, so it has nostalgia going for it
One thing that bothers me about Secret of the Wings is that Tinker Bell flew into the winter woods in the first movie during her tour of pixie hollow. Winter fairies were in the warm seasons and Tinker Bell had the option to get a snowflake instead of the hammer.
The winter fairies were also at Tinkerbell's birth but without Tinkerbell's snow device.
I remember i used to have a periwinkle barbie doll that i LOVED but for some reason i was determined to force her hair down😭 she looked so funky after

Fun fact: the original teaser for the fairy rescue indicated the little girl as the one trying to sell the fairy to a museum.
For the pixie dust I think there's an implied shortage or rationing system going on n it becomes thighter the closer it is to the blue harvest moon.
Like they calculated the output or that they only have so much to last until the festival.
which makes them emphasising on how important the responsibility is in the begining n how the reactions of the characters shows that when u rewatch the 2nd movie.
In the 3rd, after the events of the 2nd, Tink's accident unintentionally made so much more pixie dust than before that they have alot more to spare now, so her having that much to shower Lizzy with makes sense.
Also she invented the cotton air balloon that allows her to use even less of her pixie dust, n that she may hav mass produce the idea around pixie hollow so the amount of pixie dust thats saved is way way more than before.
It's also clever cause it correlates to the Peter Pan movies since Tink is the one who does the showering on the Darling siblings as well.
It's a really cute idea cause essentially the Darling childrens wouldn't be able to fly to Neverland if the events of 2nd movie didn't happen
I’ll always say, Clank and Bobble are the C-3PO and R2-D2 of the Tinkerbell movies!
I always compared them to Merry and Pippin
And my comparisons on them is Timon and Pumbaa from The Lion King movie and their own movie if i'm correct😅😅

Man, The Great Fairy Rescue is unironically one of my absolute favorite movies of all time, if not my number one movie. It carries so much nostalgia to me. That movie’s message to me was about childhood wonder, which always makes me cry. I rewatched it not too long ago and started bawling to the “How to believe” song. It’s such a beautiful movie🥲❤️

maybe it's just me but if one of my parents gave me a book on rocks and different insects and stuff, I would've been overjoyed. especially one they made themselves? (if I remember right, he said he made those journals himself? i could be wrong). they would've become my most prized possession
edit because I'm rewatching the video: 6:04 while making an umbrella for them is a good idea in theory, I feel like that would actually be kinda hard to do, considering the rain drops look to be just about or if not close to the same size as the fairies, and if that is the case, there's only so many materials tink could get to create an umbrella that would not only be easy for them to carry around (so it has to be pretty light in weight) but also withstand the force of those raindrops, which clearly have more force than the fairies can handle, judging by the way Vidia fell after getting hit by one, she hit the ground seemingly pretty hard, and yeah that could be because she just fell out of the sky, but the raindrop propelled her even faster to the ground. having said this, if umbrellas were made, they couldn't be made out of things like leaves or anything, it would have to be something more solid, and it doesn't seem like they have the material, or at least not an abundance of any material they could use to make it. point is, tink probably can't make any kind of umbrella both durable and easily convenient.

correction, rewatching the movie, the raindrops aren't as big as I thought, but they're still definitely too big and have too much force for most easily attainable material they could use.

Tinkerbell would never have met Lizzy if Vidia hadn't asked her, "You're not going near the human house, are you?" The movie "Epic" is very similar to this movie, except in "Epic," it's the DAD who's fascinated and obsessed with magical creatures, and it's the GIRL who doubts him and she shrinks and becomes one of them (the tiny people). But the last act is similar in both films: where they have to get the dad to believe in the magical creatures.
For some reason, in my "Great Fairy Rescue" coloring book, it said that Lizzy was an eight-year-old girl, and I thought, "She literally said, 'I'm nine.' You don't know your own movie, Disney?"
So about the winter thingy, I believe winter fairies can go over there for a short amount of time and the council meeting was during FALL so it was colder. Just how they could fly for a little during the frost. and the Queen rules over everyone so everyone meets with her.
My faves are The Neverbeast and the Pirate Fairy hands down. They both have some heavy plots, but to me, they were the most entertaining because I was tired of the "Tinkerbell show" and glad the stories centered on other fairies.

Because they're fairies of the cold and can't tolerate higher temperatures? By that logic, shouldn't Summer Fairies also be isolated from the rest of Pixie Hollow?

I agree that Butterflies are the best bug and this is coming from someone with a fear of bugs. Although I do usually avoid Butterflies because their wings are so fragile. Also my favorite season is winter too but that's probably because I live in Australia and Summer here is pure hell.

When trying to figure out when Peter Pan fits into the Tinkerbell movies, I think it's after the great fairy rescue because that's when she teaches the little girl how to fly and in Peter Pan uses pixie dust to get all the kids to fly to Neverland so since they live in Neverland and they have all the pixie dust and in this film she uses it to teach little girl how to fly, it probably comes after this. Also in regards to the pixie dust, if her and Terrence are dating maybe he just gave her like a lot of pixie dust because they were going to the mainland after all they needed a lot of pixie dust for all the things that they are doing, so it would make sense that she had a lot of pixie dust with her
