From America, I have this same exact battery of my super 73 RX, and the prongs inside the charging port inside the battery broke and know I can’t charge my bike. Any ways to fix this? Thanks so much.
I just bought the same battery with the same issue. I'm pretty sure that the BMS-controler connetion is made through the central wires of the battery. I compared the voltage out of it when the battery is on : 1.3v for the faulty one, 1.6v/1.7v on the healthy one, with quick voltage changes. So one (simple) lead could be that the controler needs more than 1.5v there to turn on.. What do you think ?
@@EbikeRepairs I understand :) I'd like to investigate on that and sort of decrypt the electrical signal of that communication. Do you have a recommendation on the method to use? Knowing that I also have at my disposal a working BMS to compare...
I have this same issue also.. I was digging around in forums and someone said that completely draining the battery will ultimately reset the BMS. I just don’t know how to fully drain the battery without a bike to use it on. I wish super 73 sold parts
@@Teejayx4 I read about that reset method, there’s also the « charging 15s through the discharge port » method. Looking at the BMS PCB, I saw a contact pin called « reset ». It’s one of the 4 cables of the on/off button… Meaning that maybe there’s a way to reset « softly » with that button
Yeah its actually on the inside of the battery casing fixed inline with the 2 negatives that run under the rubber mat that you see him leel back. Its from the older style batteries.
Got a question I have the super73 Rx and when I turn the battery on the screen on the bike comes on but won’t show any voltage or range I just did a controller swap I’m unsure the connector from battery to old controller shorted and I replaced them and now nothing could the battery be bricked or something need help

You can buy new charge ports I think, maybe try the battery doctor or Luna cycle
@ okay, and what size security torx did you use to open up the battery?
@@hxnk2real I don't remember now sorry but if you get a multi set, one will fit!
was that a hex security bit ?
Yes, torq bit
Torx
dear ebike repairs people, did you repair this battery at the end? I have he same problem with mine and wondering what to do next....
I did but purely by dumb luck! contact super 73 or replace bms and put new controller + lcd on bike are the only options i know of
@@EbikeRepairs What was the dumb luck? I'm hoping I can get lucky fixing mine as well

It's some kind of communication, unfortunately I don't have any information on it... Sorry

J'ai le même problème, le bouton reste allumé longtemps et la batterie ne donne aucune électricité au vélo. Avez-vous trouvé d'où ça vient ?
Unfortunately I'm not sure how to fix it - the BMS communicates with the bike and you can't get replacements as far as I know
je pense que sa vient du bms
@@derptuga oui c'est ça j'ai eu la réponse il y a trois semaines 😉
did you fix yours
@@super73steffwaa did you fix yours
Hey man probably a long shot but i dont seem to have the fuse under the battery do you know where it is
Sorry if it isn't in there then I guess there isn't one in the battery! Follow the big red wire and if it's there, it'll be attached somewhere...
@@EbikeRepairs okay cheers bro

Do you know what battery cells do Super73 use? Specs?
I think 13s 4p samsung 50E
How did you open this with?
I think I said in the video - unfortunately I don't have the battery any more so cant check for you, sorry.
