dang, just got a super 73 R (6-pin battery connector) without a battery and found out the hard way that you can't use non-OEM batteries. on the 6-pin, there's a blue and green wire and the pins are marked ++HL-- so i'm wondering if H = high = 1.5V and L = low = 0V? hoping it's just a reference voltage and not serial communication. thanks for the video though, this is a good starting point!
Thanks god I found your video! I was just thinking about to buy a larger Aftermarket battery. I had concerns why there Connector uses a 5 Port to the controller instead a 2 port. So there it is, they use any second voltage to identify there Batterys. So no After Market battery with that controller. What a bummer.
Hello did you know if on the NEWPORT battery of the RX there is the same BMS ? I am searching the original BMS of the super73 RX to create a second battery =)
I don’t know. It is possible because this BMS can handle a lot more amps than the stock controller can put out I have put 35A continuous with no problems.
I wonder what that 1.5v is and is it possible to have that on other BMS and just slide different battery in knowing the 1.5v is. Or just slide in and rx battery on the stock zx
I wish I knew what the 1.5v is used for I have not been able to find the BMS online anywhere and unfortunately you can’t use an RX battery because it uses a 6 pin connector The ZX only uses a 5 pin

do you know which one is the speed lock so when you cut it it goes faster?
what is the battery specs, 48V 13A? also did you count the number of cells? the NCR18650BD have 3100 mAh capacity and 10A discarge current

Glad I could help
Lol I am struggling to get this thing apart and you just lifted it off. What am I missing?
As long as you get all the screws, it should just lift right off. maybe they started putting silicone on it so it’s harder to take apart.
Did u ever get it off
