It is nice and easy to work on. I got my son a brushed granite that we converted to brushless now that he can handle it. Easy to do!

what is the biggest size motor that you can put into the infraction?
Biggest motor I could put in mine is the Quicrun 4274. I bought the 8BL150 4274 6s Combo kit on Amazon from Hobbywing. She’s a ripper. I wish they had a subscription plan to have new tires shipped to me weekly just because I go through them so fast

5mm and a 26t pinion I think. May be a 23t its been awhile

So what exactly do I need to buy to get a steel spur gear in this truck?
All my parts were out of my Typhon 3s. So the slipper setup, center drive shaft and center brace is what I added

I only have 3s set up with a 1410 3900 kv castle motor and a sidewinder 4 esc but I’m a extreme basher so I shredded the stock plastic spur either to much power or my motor shifted and the spur and pinning came unmeshed partially. Hopefully some one makes a after market metal spur for it soon.
I heard rumor of it back when I first got the Infraction, but I haven't kept up with it since I got it working this way. I definitely went over kill for this rc but I love it

Did you change the diff fluids? Or are you running stock?
I took the stock diffs out and put in Arrmas steel gear transmission set. But I did not change the fluid that is in there which is 10000cst

On 3s brushless mega I was getting arounnd 35-40 on the 57 tooth spur too...Then 50-60 on the 55 tooth depending on pinion...Then on a 50 tooth spur I got 70-80 depending on pinion...You probably would have hit over 100 on 6s with a 50 tooth spur

@@therchotspot I got a 3s 3300kv motor and I'm going to use a 20 tooth pinion. I hope that goes about 45 - 50 ish.

Did you convert your motor shaft to 5mm on the new motor?
It came with a 5mm shaft. Didnt change anything
I r phrased it wrong, the car came with 3.175 shaft, correct? So did you crave the same size gear with a 5mm shaft?

Still not sure what you are asking but I have pinion gears that fit 5mm so I just used those.
OK, Unless I am mistaken, doesn't the motor, 570 12T, that came with the truck have a 3.175mm shaft? But the 3900kv and most motors for 1/8 weight, have a 5mm shaft, So, the pinion gear must need to be changed also?

Lol! I didnt even try with that spur gear. I just went ahead and put my Typhon 3s setup in it with a steel spur

My 1/12 brushless wl toys buggy is faster out of the box then this thing.I will go with the Arma vendetta.
Lower kv motor. More torque, less speed. You can put whatever motor you want to in it. Ill drop a higher kv motor in it and it would be much faster. Knowing I was going to change the electronics either way made me buy this one because it was cheaper. The Vendetta and this Infraction are pretty much the same except for the electronics
It's called the "mega" and yet isn't as big or powerful as the original... Marketing needs to lay off the sauce
