I listed the controller & receiver, brushed esc on ebay & chucked the crappy servo. Gonna be slapping a Castle Monster Mamba X 6S esc & 2200kv motor. Change the gearing to 50S/20P & now you have a basher with balls lol.
Picked up two of these last Christmas for cheap. I think under 150 apiece. Going with this set up looks fun. Thanks again bro

I chose this one BECAUSE it’s brushed. I don’t have a large space to run it, so I didn’t want one that was too fast. I’m happy with it.

The stock Vendetta tires have lasted me about 5 packs and still have some tread. Running a gens Ace 6800 mah 150c bash battery.

Not available over here in the UK yet, about a week away now i believable, I’m going to buy one but rip electrics straight out & replace with a Hpi 4s set up that i have here in my RC Room !

I’d love to see you do a shootout between this and the Associated Hoonigan. Similar scale and the AE is brushless. I have yet to get an Arrma but I’m definitely considering it even though I’m very much already invested in Associated products.

Why would I give more money to HH/Arrma/Spektrum if there are other, much better options for ESC and motor?

I really like this truck. There are just too many other rc related things that I’d rather spend my money on. Feel that way about a lot of Arrma’s price points actually.

Just get the limitless and slap on some old off road electronics. Use used 1/8 scale buggy wheels and tires.
Plastic gears, turn buckles, drive shaft, diff housing. Show us how it self destructs .

Most brand RTR ‘s come with crappy electronics Arrma’s RC come with spectrum electronics which is much better. But I still can’t understand how we continue to buy RTR’s that need immediate electronic upgrades. Especially Traxxas why do they continue to use their junk. For the price of these vehicles you shouldn’t have to replace so much.And your 400$ dollar expensive RC becomes a 1000$ dollar expensive RC! I’d like to see painted versions ready to go but without electronics. I just don’t have the time to paint etc. So no clear bodies assembled except for the electronics. Or have models with price points with aftermarket upgrades.
I actually enjoy it with the brushed setup. But I do have the MAX10 with 3200kv motor ready to go.

Metal gears? Metal diffs? Have you checked? My 3s brushless has none of that. All plastic.
arrma is kind of a joke for releasing this at 320$. should have the 3s in it for 320ish, or 229 ish with the brushed version. every manufacturer is offering coupons now at amain because of low sales. this bad price point shows silly decisions by people in charge that dont live in our real world. is this the start of the next vast decline in rc??? these prices just dont make sense...
Yes, very dissapointed here as well. Hope it doesn't alienate their fans but seems like low sales/interest on this one in stock form.
