I did a Caledonian Coaches tour round the Outer Hebrides last year. I loved the islands, but I hated the tour because we saw next to nothing. After getting the ferry from Berneray, we spent a grand total of 2 minutes at that layby you were at that overlooks Luskentyre. Then we got dropped off in Tarbert for a whole half hour at the distillery when I really wanted a proper look about. Later we got 1 hour in Stornoway (enough for lunch but not a proper nosey about) and a grand total of 15 minutes at Callanish. Also, I collect gin miniatures and Harris don't produce them as they said, quote "it compromises the aesthetic of the bottle design"...I think they just wanted to make sure people bought the full-size bottles, when I already had one at home and didn't want to cart another back home on a bus! We also went to Barra for a full day that same week, which they somehow turned into an even bigger disaster! I'm really happy to see your video because it's giving me a better look at Harris than I got in person! I definitely want to go back as walking along Luskentyre is on my bucket list (as is a trip to St. Kilda, so I feel your pain at not getting there!). And if you didn't manage to go into the Essence of Harris shop near your hotel, their candles are really good, I always buy some to give as presents at Christmas.

I continue to think that in these kinds of videos it would be cool if: 1) They were provided a map or globe with an arrow or pin in it showing where in the world something came from. 2) They were also shown maybe some video about how the food is made, and/or how it is typically served / eaten, for additional cultural context. @@JarodMoonchild1975 Technically it's a fruit despite being used more as if a vegetable; like a tomato or cucumber, both also fruits technically that are culinarily used as veggies. If it comes out of a flower, unless it's a nut, it's botanically classified as fruit. If the edible part is leafy, a stem, or a growth on or from a root it's classified as a vegetable. Not exactly what we're used to calling things that are used as if they were veggies.
