There's a great VR scenario where you are underwater, slowly swimming with sharks, whales, and lots of ocean fish. You should have them try that one. Since its a lot slower as compared to a fast rollercoaster i bet they would love it!

The problems with Gear VR over Oculus Quest (or Quest 2): 1. Very limited experiences to run. And most experiences are limited to just 360° video on rails, not an actual virtual world. 2. Not powerful enough to run anything in 3D (any virtual worlds) at a smooth speed. 3. Does not track the position of your head! It only tracks the _angle_ of the head. This can play a very large factor in motion/VR sickness that people get. VR sickness can be very uncomfortable, and persist for quite a long time after removing the headset, so it's best to *take a break as soon as you feel initial symptoms of dizziness or nausea* and let people know about the issue beforehand. 4. Does not allow user interaction with hands. 5. Other minor things such as not having as good resolution (technically depends on the phone used), not having as good field of view, not having as good lens quality (lens flare, godrays, chromatic abberation, blurriness/focus) Those first 4 things are really key to getting a great VR experience, and the last one helps a good bit as well.
