My wife after 27 years drank herself to death …Her parents blame me ..I am a single dad now if 2 girls …The pain is indescribable..
Stay strong, Bro. It'll be worth it to see them grow up.
I'm sorry for your loss, and I do hope you and your daughters will be able to navigate through this. Never forget to tell and show your daughters you love them, but also, don't hesitate to go to family therapy (if possible), and discuss gief with them. Everyone has different ways of grieving, the road will be bumpy moving forwards, but stay strong... And if your late wife's parents keep on harrasing you and your children, try and look into estabilishing a Restraining Order, due to the mental distress they are putting you through. Good luck mate.
Interesting 🍿
I am sorry sir , I Hope everything will get better for you. Take care ❤
Remember the good memories of her and please don't do anything stupid you're needed more than you could ever know.
The mil and fil are genuinely the worst people ive ever heard of. Nta
His in laws need to layoff op
This might sound mean but he should have just stayed NC
If he did, I am pretty sure they we will still have this story. Just probably with more shit like manipulating the teens and other "withholding information from us"
Seems like the ILs didn't give him a choice with them showing up and suing him.
@@ImNotaRussianBotI think OP was trying to say that the readit poster shouldn’t have contacted his late wife’s parents to inform them about her passing. His in-laws sued him after finding out their daughter was gone and that she left everything to him cuz honestly he was her better half and paying more than half for everything 😂🤷♀️
I like how much his wife was dedicated to him, the marriage and the kids
Isn't that expected from everyone
@@goodnightmyprince6734 That's the expectation, but not the reality for everyone.
There's another story on reddit that's like this, but it's the husband that died, and wife's MIL was blaming the wife
I was like "this sounds familiar" then I heard brain clot and I was like ok, now I realize
ya i thought that too
I just commented the exact same thing
Yea
it is.. its kinda rewriten with Ai.. or something..
I have seen this story but in exact opposite gender. The husband dies of a blood clot. The in laws blame the wife. Clash over the funeral choices
Same 😭💀
Where's the link?
@@JoaoBatista-bk6sinot on this channel.
Same! Omg I thought I was immagining things
@@nayanD69 Oh...
Death from blood clot in the brain runs in my family. Theres an story about how an mom was was bathing her toddler and she dropped dead from it, the next year her elderly mother was babysitting the child while the windowed husband was at work. Grandma dropped dead in the driveway getting the toddler from the car to the house. Its hereditary - OPs in-laws killed their daughter by genetics and not keeping track of family medical history.
I’d bring up in court how they made the threat of taking his kids if they didn’t get the house. They don’t want to raise the kids, it was a move to hurt him and shows that they see the kids as pawns to be used. Not even mentioning how their relationship with them was nonexistent, their entire custody claim was pure harrasment and a criminal action.
They wouldn't even be able to claim grandparents rights as they haven't been in their lives this have no established bond.
I’m sorry, he has a 7-year old, but met his wife six years ago? Unless I heard something wrong or that’s legally the wife’s stepson, I’m call bullsh!t
Yeah it’s for sure bs. There’s another story similar to this but the wife’s husband dies in the same way and follows the same storyline. They’ve been updating weird stuff lately 🫤
THANK YOU!!
I was washing dishes when it was said and was like "so is this another unchecked for mistakes fake post or did the narrator not read correctly??"
He has a seven year old AND an older kid 😂 if this wasn't clear enough that it was AI generated by the overdramatic intro about him finding out his wife's dead 😂😂
Why would there be a will reading when one spouse is still alive? Assets would automatically go to the remaining spouse.
Unless the will states certain things go to specific people.
This is fake as hell, he says his youngest son is 7 but he only knew his wife for 6 years. Multiple parts are practically copy pasted from other posts that have been posted on this channel.
What? Stories on Reddit aren't necessarily true? That shit's bonkers.
@@ProjectDv2 Reddit-like stories on UA-cam without a link to their original post are 100% chatGPT
Most of these stories are fake, the most easy way to identify it is by the way the write about their supposed life like is an essay or a novel, NOBODY writes like that in the circumstances they’re in, I’m a writer and I could never write like that about how I suddenly lost my wife and fear losing my children and home
My mom recently passed due to small intestine cancer and today at flag football when I looked at my aunt I briefly saw my mom. Very sad and unfortunate story.
the op’s wife seemed like a great person, sad for her to go and not see her own children grow up. i just don’t understand how people are able to act like these in-laws. i guess it’s a way of coping if they even cared that their daughter died which still doesn’t justify anything. such depressive people.
There isnt a judge on planet earth who would give the the estranged parents of a dead husband/wife full custody of the grandchildren as well as the family home.
The fact that the case even made it to court in the first place is just ludicrous to me
This sounds extremely similar to another story. Almost identical even.
Someone wrote a creative writing assignment and didn't even care to put the creativeness in it lol
I swear, also the guy telling his wife’s death in the most detailed way while evading his father’s cause of death was a little inconsistent to me, like dude, if you’re gonna talk about death like it’s nothing just do it with every death in the story ig?
These in-laws are HORRIBLE people. They are assuming bc OP is an immigrant, that he’s uneducated, doesn’t know better & thinks they can bully him into doing what they want him to do. I pray he didn’t let them & fought back in court.
I'm rather shocked that a Lawyer would have even taken the wife's patents case but I guess some lawyers are beyond the ethics they once had to swear to uphold. I would not be beyond filing a bar complaint as those people had no case.
WHY would OP expect civility out of estranged IL?
Also NO. Their grief NOT clouding their judgement. They see you as that from the start.
That case should have never made it to trial
Great creative writing excercise!
Theres parts in this that are pretty much copied and pasted from another post this channel uploaded a fewdays ago
I would have had a legendary crash out if in laws talked to me like that.
NC means NC. Why did OP contact the ILs? Also, why in the world were the ILs at the reading of the will?
Wait, i think i heard this story but with reverse genders
Same
It was posted like 3 days ago difference was that op was female, didn't have kids and had parents.
At this point, if the guy doesn't post links to the original posts soon, I'm gonna just believe all these stories are fake.
same
You did
This sounds so similar to a post from a few days back. Like the opening statement is the same, and a lot of other similarities
This kind of stuff has always disgusted me. My parents were blamed for my sister's passing, and there was ZERO evidence to the claim. Made by her in laws. With my parents having long since moved thousands of miles away. But SOMEHOW, it was their fault. The conspiracy they wove that dragged me in as their pawn (despite literally only seeing my sister a few times a year but ok) in her demise were ridiculous, but also telling. They locked her autopsy so my mom wasn't even allowed access and we were given the base reason for her passing, which was odd in and of itself, and their sudden change to cremate my sister instead of a burial literally THE DAY OF her funeral.
But no, it was me and my parents, and nearly half the family had it out for us and I shut them up with threat of legal action. The lengths these people went to had me running in circles just so my parents and grandmother weren't being literally spammed with the most horrid things I've ever seen in written word.
Like. I've always believed that, if nothing else, on the day of a funeral, truce should be placed pit of respect for the one who was lost, but no. No. They couldn't do that.
Let people feel grief without giving more. We aren't built to live forever, so when it's over, put blame and hate aside and just have some gd respect for the one that was lost. (Within reason, of course. You aren't expected to be civil with the proven guilty party that took the life of someone you love, and other such situations.)
I hope OP and his sons find happiness, love and fulfillment in their lives. ❤
I'm general I think it's kinda funny when people get married and then keep finances separate and sometimes even argue about it being my money /your money/you're responsibility, etc as well as everything else 50/50, and other such things...
But get extremely offended when handed a prenup.... It's just a legal version of what you've already agreed to.
I feel so sorry for your loss.. I lost my dad due to a massive heart attack he died on the toilet..
1 thing that never made sense to me about USA laws is grandparents rights, in my opinion unless the parents are deemed unfit, willingly give up or allow grandparents access I don’t think anyone but mum and dad should have a legal right to see grand kids because they aren’t their kids.
This story sound almost identical to one I heard not long ago in this channel
Yep, genders reversed but pretty much the same. The moment we got to "brain cloth" and that was enough for me :D
The story oddly familiar with another story that i heard from reddit. But instead of wife it was the husband who died.
wtf. Why would you describe that? Why do we need to hear the gorey details of your kid finding your wife?? How does that matter to the rest of the story. Saying she passed is enough. Needing to hear the details of a child and the call and all… fuck. That’s too much.
How can he get paid $240,000 and be so dumb. Inlaws have no way to get Op's house or kids... I want that job.
Wait idk if I am tripping but I have heard this exact story narrated by the wife where is husband is dead
ua-cam.com/video/zU6_dEE_jUs/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared
It not exactly the same but some points are exactly the same lol
Yes! Same things, and they changed some small details, like the funeral part, in the d3ad husband he wanted to be cremated but inlaws didn't, in this she wanted an outdoor funeral but inlaws didn't, also said with the same statement of "we never talked about death, as it seemed something distant, but she/he ones mentioned at a funeral that...." (or something among these lines), but overall it's the same
If you're going to make up stories from real Reddit stories, make them believable, at least. The timeline also doesn't follow properly: they met 6 years ago, but the youngest child is 7, and the oldest is unknown, but older... how does that make any sense???
You need to work on your creative writing skills and make a plan with years that follow appropriately to make it more realistic. 😅
There's a court that handles probate/real eatate issues AND child custody? 🤔
These stories have to be all made up. Who the hell rationalizes with in-laws accusing them of murder and taking away the kids and the house?
Also, making $240k and you come to Reddit for advice? Bullshit.
how do these in-laws like to have the fear of God put in them?
Wait wait not once did the kids think to call 911?
Yeah.. wife found dead.. they’re not gonna let you in and cradle her body when you show up to the scene
If he makes more money the how can he be the gold digger
Be aware of your health guys and get a second opinion from doctors.
It's tough when certain insurance companies like using the term "not medically necessary" when attempting to go to a specialist
YTA for not getting a restraining order on MIL and FIL
Rest nta
After seeing a lot of stories like this one youtube, I have gained the ability to sense fake ones. And this most definitely is fake.
I think I heard the same story, but it was wife telling, not husband
This story sounds familiar
This Sounds Like Another Story Yall Just Posted But Instead It Was From A Girl POV & Not A Guy
The timelines never add up with these stories. Still entertaining but their 7 year old found the mom but they met 6 years ago?
your in laws are acusing you fo being a golddiger when they are the golddiggers
No you're not the wife's in law's don't deserve anything not even the kids.
The plot of racing in the rain?
I know this is a bullshit AI story but where are the "Everyone should get a prenup" incels now that it's a guy who didn't want to get one and felt insulted by the insinuation of gold digging?
You need to put in time markers for your stories
Wait I've heard the gender swapped version of this story😐
Sad😢😢
These are so obnoxiously fake… but entertaining lol
Hi
NTA
This is fake
Npc ai story
💉💉💉💉
Lost my late wife of 25 years the brother in-law demanded my house that I bought in 1985 that was by the beach in Orange County CALIFORNIA
I've listened to so many more outrageous stories but none of them sounded this fake.
This is just the same as another video he posted some days ago but the genders are reversed but there was a mil and sil instead
Hello
