If you need a solid provoker for Hydra I'd highly recommend Wixwell for Nightmare. Each hit he does on his A1 has a 100% chance to provoke against bosses so it's very rare that he misses and always has the attack ready. Also brings AOE decrease attack and a solid shield. Just remember to build him with high resist because he will most likely be the mischief tank.
