Elenaril is great, but she's actually a poison EXPLODER. Poison explosion works differently than poison activation. Poison explosion fully pops ALL stacks of poisons completely - so it's a bigger hit. But it doesn't work well against bosses - the damage is capped. So poison exploders clear waves the fastest, but poison activators do more damage to bosses.

If you want to do fusions as a F2P, you have to prioritize saving your resources specifically for fusions. I'm also F2P. In the first year of my account, I only completed 2 fusions (but that was mostly because I was fairly casual that year). In my second year, I did 9 out of 13. SO, depending on your current account progress and resource management, this fusion may not be possible. But you could start saving for the Xmas fusion right now, and you may have a chance at that champion instead. Good luck!

So it's impossible to know the shard types any more. There used to be a set rotation, but plarium has broken it several times this year. Hellhades.com has a counter on their main page - that's what I used for this video. But sometimes even HH is wrong. So, it COULD be sacreds this weekend. We shall have to wait and see.

That's fair. I think the Shadowkin rares are okay. I like the two you mentioned. But, honestly, the reason I picked Shadowkin at 5 is because of the insane epic lineup. Mikage was the tiebreaker.

@@Lones555 I kinda like bloodmask, albeit he's all single target. His kit just synergizes well together. With a slow, A1 turn meter drop and a stun on a 3 turn cd he can just about completely neutralize 1 enemy single handedly.

Lol. I wish I had Bad El on my main account. He was the first lego I pulled on my very first alt account. I don't polay that account any more, and I STILL miss Bad El after 3 years.

Yeah, I could see that. I definitely debated between the two. The reason I chose Dark Elves is because most of the F2P barbarians fall off, while the Dark Elves do great work at end game. And there are still plenty of early and mid game DEs among the rares and epics. But barbarians are also awesome for F2P, so fair play.

Activators are worthwhile in general, and I think he's going to be one of the best. Is he Teodor level? I'm not sure, but since I don't have a Teodor, I think Stokk should do the job nicely.

Congrats! I would say it's up to you. Some considerations would be your faction guardians, your overall roster, how many lego books you have, and if going for Stokk would make it harder to do the Xmas fusion next month. I likely wouldn't build a second Stokk, but having a second one as a faction guardian might not be bad. For me, I'd probably pass on the second Stokk, but you should weigh your options and then make the call.

Fair enough. I still think he's worth it for a lot of players, but not everyone, obviously.

I thought of Demonspawn too. I think one reason Ash may have gone a different way is because of how strong the demonspawn epics are - and he was counting F2P champs against the factions at first (I wasn't clear enough defining my video idea to him - that one's on me, sorry).

@@ColredPlaysRSL both of you guys could have legitimately called out the faction, but I'm genuinely surprised that Ash didn't for the pay to win for the above mentioned teasons. For F2P though too it's also stacked. Great specialist rares and epics like speed freak Diabolist, campaign farmer Fellhound, Hellfreak with that op for a rare health swap on a 4 CD plus an extra turn, Marquess 100% freeze, Akoth is the key to spider progression ez mode... even the free Lego Drexthar is a super good tank. You guys slept hard on my fave faction haha. Still a really fun video. 👏 (I know you know all that stuff but I'm name dropping champs for any viewers that may not)

Yeah, I like that combo, but Elenaril is technically a poison explosion champion, which works differently than poison activation. Explosion is great for waves but bad for bosses. Activation is good for both.

@ColredPlaysRSL works for the dungeons. I've never understood the in game differences in text but I also have never used any beyond her. I have the epic demon guy in the vault that says it only works 50% on bosses.

The classic rotation goes in alphabetical order: (A)ncients, (S)acreds, (V)oids. However, since Primal shards were added to the game, the classic rotation has been broken many times. So, if they follow the classic rotation, we SHOULD get 2x ancients. But who knows?

Not like I have any 'purity' - I did spend about $50 early on, in an attempt to stop playing the game. But now, I'm looking at it as a viable way to get something at least a little like Georgid. That said, I feel like I have a 'good enough' handle on stoneskin teams, but He-man might be enough to get me through to GI in tag team. Dunno. I hate rewarding Plarium for putting a straight paywall up again, but it knda offers a (relatively) cheap alternative.

I agree. It's really nice to have an activator, especially for HP burns, because we have so many champions that apply burns but DON'T activate them.

I think he's going to be decently strong in hydra. He's got TM fill, sustain, a potential AoE weaken, a debuff extension, aoe poisons, and both poison and hp burn activation. I'm not sure that he'll be great for nightmare difficulty, but he's definitely not a bad hydra champ IMO.

If you want, you can prevent the scarab from stealing your buffs by either having enough resist or (better yet) TM controlling the boss so he never gets a turn. As far as poisons at end-game, some of the fastest wave clear teams (for dungeons) are built from poison activation, so there is still some value there if you want it.

@ColredPlaysRSL poisons are useless against a boss who doesn't take a turn....sure you have some activation but a full team with tm control will take massiveness longer than a free champion....my uhrost cleared scrab level 100 in 17 turn....paired with thor for the waves...problem with my uhrost is he is too fast....he is 153 speed....the slower he is the faster the run! And you don't need resistance... less resistance the better. The more fears he gets and the more decrease speed he gets the faster the run!

I passed on the last 2 fusions too. I think this champ will be solid for my account. I’ve tried and failed in obtaining Teodor. I have nearly 100 leggos and not 1 poison activator. If I recall right the first form of the Chimera is susceptible to poisons, and hp burn. There’s a lot going on with that boss and we’ll need our champs to cover as many bases as possible.

I love the dwarven faction as well. They almost made my top 5 off the strength of their epics and rares, but they have no free legos, so I had to leave them out.

Yeah, it can take a long time. But, then again, sometimes the RNG of shard pulls falls your way, and you pick up a bunch of fusion champs in short order. I hope that's how it works for you. Good luck!
